A Woman

A woman is strong.
She is loving and wise.

She endures,
She moves hearts,
She laughs and she cries.

She nurtures,
She commends,
She supports and she mends.

All for the sake of her children and friends.

A woman does all this,
And yet,
She suffers the dreaded menstruation.

In modern countries,
She can go to the store and buy things like tampons,
Tampons and pads.
Then she'll be on her way.

She'll be on with her life,
Being a mother, a worker, and a friend.

But in developing countries,
What does she get?

She must stay at home,
Struggling with the bloodstained fabrics and floors,
That look like an accident that had happened during her chores.

She must keep bringing water, to and fro,
She must push on, but even still,
She is struggling.

She can't enter the places of worship,
She is seen as dirty and unclean,
For a natural process that she can't control.

She is sent out into huts,
Small and windowless.
She is sent there with her children,
Because of the blood that shows she is fertile.

A woman is strong and powerful.
She endures hardships greater than some.

She endures sexism and racist remarks,
She endures life and corrupt society,
She endures every day with heavy anxiety.

Every woman deserves to be treated like a queen,
For her endurance,
For her compassion,
For her loving beam.

A woman is strong,
In ways that cannot be seen,
But must be heard, felt, and remembered.

Tender Rose

The rose bud
The soft petals
Clad between the sepals
Oblivious to daily dismals

Drops of water dribbled
Gliding soflty off the sepals
Not a single drop
Reaching the smooth petals.

Sweet Little Rose
She was protected likewise
by her beloved parents
Shielded was she of difficulties
Not a single hardship did she encounter
They were deviated vehemently
By this armour called Parents!

The rose bud had bloomed
Into a beautiful flower
The sepals had curled downwards
All the same supporting the rose.
The rains came again
How the droplets
Landed ruthlessly on the petals!
Poor rose flower was drenched!

Little Rose blossomed
Into a lovely maiden
Her parents were bent with age
Yet upholded their Rose.
Challenges arose again
How they bore down
Upon Sweet Rose
Poor Rose was burdened!

The Heart Breaking Hardships That Challenge Us All

A new genus of poetry I shall pen
that shows the splendors of life,death, and rebirth,
the heart breaking hardships that challenge us all.
Where the Gods were born, there were born the titans,
the giants larger than us which we must duel,
for craven it is to fight those weaker than us,
but much glory in becoming giant slayers,
after the example of Thor the mighty,
who fells the thurses with his hammer Mjolnir.

Hardships Butter

by Michaelw1two

 The stars of society,
 great notion once did scintillate;
 their glow burned too fast,
 ash, cinder, sloth, agnominate;
 what, gifted fate's skewers,
 sole reply, a dross adumbrate;
 life, guts all souls;
 death's head did spirit ablaqueate.

 Court not, the rule in justice,
 culpability is the blame;
 where evil spread, ascribe strife's Id
 as quoting Boehme;
 earth, is food for worm,
 demands flesh to whet its loam;
 mankind in greedy lust,
 curst promise, to dream venomed.

 If justice, is synonym for bread,
 equality is its spread;
 they, are symmetry to life
 and health in living's thread;
 fed to profiteering few,
 who cause, life's morbid dread;
 they, will feast to death,
 for earth, leave not a shred.

 Life's cauldron steams,
 beneath fires we can't control;
 sought, is gentry's sweet butter,
 democracy's decontrol;
 fed on schisms,
 palates satiated by life's slop bowl;
 rejecting meals context,
 and savor rubric of future whole.

 Survival, quenches thirst, of each
 who seek life's bread;
 hardship futile postulate,
 hungry souls crave words said;
 tasty freedom's tout,
 cannot be minced by thirst misled;
 each, will eat, this buttered bread,
 or all, will wind up dead.

Life's Hardships

As I experience life's hardships
I learn to accept the cost
An end must come to most relationships
No matter what is lost
It get shaky, it gets rough
Life throws us many curve balls
Yet I realize it's not enough
As I walk down these hallowed halls
As humans we push, we thrive
To give others a better tomorrow
It's the very thing that keeps us alive
Even if it brings us sorrow
And whether we had joy and peace or hate and strife
The way you embrace death will show how you endured life

Hardships

Hardships

“2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4 NIV

Hardships are blessings—
Blessings in disguise.
Christ depended upon the Father
And heaven to open His eyes.
Hardships are not meant
To bring us to despair,
But are allowed to happen—
Our dependence to repair.

No matter how difficult the circumstances,
Don’t let Hardships get you down.
They’re designed by evil to break you;
Upon God’s love and His promises to frown.
By the power of the Holy Spirit
Let your soul bubble over with hope;
Don’t let unbelief deny you God’s rest—
All solutions lie within His scope.

God will provide a way out
And He our burdens carries,
If we just hand over the Hardships;
With His power He marries.
Doubt is from the Devil,
So ask for faith sublime.
Hold on to God’s promises,
So encouraging and divine.

Be willing to depend upon god
Regardless of the Hardships.
Let them draw you to Him,
Believing an end to their internships.
Never rely on your own power
To carry Hardships to an end.
Because the Father lover you,
Hi help, He’ll always send!

Through Life's Trials and Hardships

Through Life’s Trials And Hardships…

I’ve been through trials and difficult situations.
Many times it happens with no explanation!

Whatever I’ve had or have taken with me.
I’ve been there when everyone has left me!

The uncertainties I’ve had and struggles I face.
Have brought me to my knees in a “quiet” place.

The journeys I’ve traveled and the storms ahead.
Have brought worry and stress in the words I said.

Whatever trials I’ve faced... To Jesus I cried!
A comfort and strength . He did provide!

I know a truth that’s important and most certain.
Jesus can take away any hardship or burden!

If there were no trials... How could I trust him?
Because of what he’s done How much I love him!

If I had no hardships or trials, I’d probably “forget him.”
Giving him my whole life? I don’t think I’d let him!

He’s proven beyond any doubt how much he loves me!
He reached down from heaven and touched me!

He’s my comfort and joy and enduring friend!
He’ll be there with me… Till the very end!

This Jesus I know. I recommend him to you!
He is God! Our provider! This is so true!

Won’t you give him a chance in your life today!
He can bring hope and take
 the dark clouds away!

Love's Hardships

Its our love, we rule
Let'em say that you're a fool
Because it doesnt matter, now
That you've made your vow.

Lets keep it simple
Lets keep it cool
You may be a cripple
But its nothing, I'll prove it
soon.

The roads rough, I'll help us
through
The stones that hurt us too.
But both of us, hearts we have
So we'll triumph, now thats
love.

Healing and Hardships 15-28

Can't you see
It's her not me
I’m being framed

That girl was my friend
But now she’s HER friend
And I can't talk to them?
What the hell

Where is SHE getting these games?
Why am I the only one being told off
When she clearly is doing shady business
I got a 9/10 on my maths
I showed mom
SHE said that SHE got a 10/10 last year

I CAN EAT
Everything
ANYTHING
Mayo on a spoon?

I’m in 6th grade, and 65 lbs
Isn't that funny
They say I should eat

Therapy and drugs
Angry outburst
IT'S NOT MY FAULT
But I need to pretend I agree

I'm thinking that ADHD isn't all that is wrong
I can't put my finger on it
But explosive anger is unusual at my age

Clumpy hair
Tendrils of oil
We need to learn proper hygiene

Gym class
I am weaker than my peers
But I still try my best
I am always picked last

How come the deaf girl suddenly gets treated special
I have problems too
But nobody pretends to like me

Anti Bullying is just for show
I've never seen the girls act differently
Toward my hidden disability

Could it be my fault
People can't come near
When all I do is shout
And talk off their ear

I've decided. Age 13. Grade 8.
Next year will be different
I need to let go
I'll keep all my stories
But no more anger
No more pain
No more what if’s

Hardships of the Sky

I dont want to mount
the hardships of the sky
if the earth’s labor pain
is false or the action
stillborn with or without
scalpel the doctor
humiliates process

Parallel Universe

They talk to me… I take no interest
For I like not their likes…
When I talk to them--- about angels, and heavens,
And about life, magic and things I like
They listen not
And the boasters, like parrots
Start praising their minds…
And talk of trivial things
Like brands, latest fashion, new model cars and their favorite cigarette

They seems impressed of themselves
And tell me in hidden words, how better they are than I
For they understand the world and know life's art
I smile on their faces, but laugh at them in my heart…

They know not the truth of life
Or they ignore the cry of Truth
And turn a blind Eye towards the Reality

Or may be it’s a parallel universe
they are living in
In my world, Moon has strains
And flowers wilt young

kids play with the debris of their wrecked houses
Mothers bury the empty coffins of their dead sons
Sons wait for their murdered fathers to bring them food
And dughters wipe mothers' tears with their torn clothes

How can I celebrate this life...??
They do...
They must have got a different world

This Truth of Mine

As a child, I learned that life is cruel
And justice is blind
My loving family filled with secrets and care
All I ever wanted
A love to call my own
A place to be unafraid of my surroundings
Why am I ever denied
Leaving scars on my heart
All I ever needed was a love that is real
To never feel alone and disregarded
All I ever wanted was my time on the moonlit path of romance
To feel loved and safe
But I was held to a standard around my elders
Hope that they would change their ideas
So my hope was twisted and rooted to fear
I hide myself, who I am,
All I ever wanted acceptance and love
So keep hidden my secret designs my plots a face worn
I watch on the outside as others delight in the pleasures and joys of love
Days turn to hours and hours to years
When they solve the mysteries once beheld by misguided eyes
And all truths are spoken confessions boldly told
Then can I finally come home

Untold Hardships

UNTOLD HARDSHIPS

Waging no war against atrocities,
Opulent lessin offering any resistance to social evils,
Marring herself by subduing to wicked hands,
Aura of venom often dowans on her to make her spiritless
Nadir is her social strata in her living milieu!!
