When Dark Lust, Casts Its Gleaming Eyes On You And Me
When tears are sharp daggers that pierce a wounded heart
when within midnight terrors, this spirit staggers
ghastly beasts dine upon freshly torn body parts
as tragic love's flings its many poisonous darts.
When piercing cries, through moonlit night's echoing ring
when savage monsters, dance around rot and decay
as dead roses, their wafting aroma burns and stings
ghoulish monsters laugh, crown themselves as golden kings.
When dying moans, within blacken, deep bloody pits
when unholy hell, its gifts this world celebrates
are measures of life, and the dangers of deep hate
such is fodder for evil's grasp, at Hell's first gate.
When heart burns, with its embraced dark and wicked glee.
When dark lust, casts its gleaming eyes on you and me.

Sonnet
First glorious happy soft morning rays,
To the 'dismal dreary darkness', they bid adieu;
The 'golden gleaming glint', to all living beings, a boon;
The still lake sparkles in 'bright light' beams;
Oh how the pebbles 'reflect' the sun, making a picture 'perfect'! Such
is the beauty of the radiant sunshine that eagerly I
await for, every morn, to bask in its warmth. Can
there ever be a 'greater gift' here in earth from Above?

In the fragrant noonday heat,
Sunshine poured on meadowsweet,
And rivers and lakes sparkled,
All while rose finches warbled,
From azure sky and green trees,
And sunshine burnished cities,
In the fragrant noonday heat.

The gleaming crow, a treasure before her eyes
Her flirtatious wings dripping out behind her
Like lush curtains they swayed in the wind
Her coiled claws, held to her chest, scraped one another
She cawed to him
I love you I love you
His fragmented eyes looked back
The not yet dried glue dripping from their edges
He said to her
This wounded stallion
The lasso tight around his thick neck
His once free main weighted down
He said to her
I loved what you stole, what you cannot replace
She looked at him, he saw himself in her gaze, the stallion
He saw himself in the blood beneath him
Its shimmers cried betrayal
He saw himself
His shriveled form, his broken eyes
She said to him
You will learn to love me more
He looked at her, she looked at him
She saw herself in the waters of her toil
She saw her beauty, the beauty he must see
He looked at her, her inky talons plotting their mischief
He said to her
I am not yours to claim, you took my world, I am no more
I will rebuild your world
She said
With my hand
He heard claw
He stood above the red waters
He remembered the rubble of his old home, the walls he had built
She had torn them down and claimed him, his wings clipped
She loved him when he flew
He was no more
Soon she would learn what he has lost
She would lose what he cannot
Her need
They always do
All of them

Gleaming Tones
on an unconquered
Sun.
Seeing myself
down the Demon hole.
Shimmering fractions
spun on a silver
coin.
And seeing the
reflections
bounce off the
unwanted One.

The smile on your face all aglow.
When they sparkle the lights are mostly low.
The special time you are alone together just you two.
Whispering in the dark, ”I love you.”
The smile, just for you, the twinkling of an eye.
Dancing eyelids love will grow as time goes by.
Shining in its simplicity, we see through each other, a gleam.
That smile, you know the one’ we like to call it a moon beam.
Said that it will strike whether sitting on a beach, bench, anywhere.
Two as one unite and voila’ the moon beam eyes are suddenly there.
When two have smiles for one another both of the hearts merge and they’re as one.
A family, a love, is born from that moon beam, smiling, we know that love will overcome.
Remember to smile, being cordial helps, you’ll find the smile of togetherness, the one reserved for you both, a smile all your own.
With love, faith, a smile can make the difference with knowledge added it will take us to our Spiritual home.
Of course the apple of my eye is my best friend silly’ it’s my wife.
A God given lady sent to me, to be a mentor, a confidant. When she smiles that smile for me, I know she is the love of my life.

Gleaming Capitol.
Alabaster stones shining bright.
Peoples history and hope.
Dark place of power.
Filled up with greed, lust and lies,
Destroyers of liberty.

He expertly ollies to the
kick-flip with his brand new
Element rip stick,
elemental tricks are essential
so he has to ride it smoothly
grinding the rail with expertise
kicking faster and faster
riding along at quickspeed
wind zephyrs through his hair
body gliding through the air
free sliding, slip sliding
keeping up the pace
eyes hearing, all knowing
a wonderous race
against yourself
no one else
leaning into the right
making the curve
counter balance
mind reeling fun
looking for a chance
to do the ultimate trick
c mon skip up and slide the rails
jump the five easy steps
lean again to a radical turn
no turning back
no turning back
catching air, do a kick-flip
board goes round, meets his feet
take it nice and easy now
hitting the ramp, up up and over
push push adrenaline rush
eyes glazed heart beat wild
becoming one with the board
mastering his every move.
I am the Bird man
No Tony hawk
the master of pavement
one with the movement
one with the wind
one with himself
gleaming the cube
polish it feel it
absorb it reeling in your mind
with euphoric overload
and suddenly he skids, falls
rolling and tumble rough
over and over
reap the pain
with nothing to gain
losing all control
flying like a rag doll
a complete skin shredding disaster.
he is no longer the master

Grandfathers deep English voice joined hers in prayers
Apple trees shimmering in the sunlight beside the water
Crumpled apricot roses tumbled above the interlaced arch
The mistress of the house wore a necklace of black pearls
Attends every afternoon for tiny cakes and fine Ceylon teas
Full evening dress, frothing swell of linen and velvet bodice
Painting roses and rosebuds, petal by petal with dewdrops
Delicate tweeting of finches Dainty wings flittering to and fro
Precious secrets of a painters art the canvas would not yeild
Tailored black suit with a faint chalk stripe, double breasted
Rows of silver buttons stamped with lions , deep grey eyes

Awesome, magnificent, infinite and grand
these four beautiful words describe exactly the same
gleaming sky that David saw when composing a poem
to praise the Creator who used a command!
Millions of years have passed and the breath-taking beauty
of the wondrous stars and constellations never dawns;
feel David's emotions as he penned down inspiring psalms!
Don't we also lose ourselves in the sky's obscure immensity?
Find a spot where every corner of the twinkling sky is seen clearly;
look further into the boundless universe and grasp a sense of reality,
then analyse it and revoke the absurd thoughts that failed as doubt...
compare your faith to that of David who was happy to proclaim it!
See the nocturnal spectacle that always vows us in every aspect;
its so awesome when Mars appears with its rotating rings that
simply draw our attention to impose true belief...
so discard any false theory that all evolved by itself!

pot bellied boasting navels
shiny round ball bearing stomachs
haloing out of diesel grime
over alls and silver buttoned railway
insignias
these long waxed pig curled mustache workmen
rotated their lives between shifts of day and night
with metal lunch boxes and coffee tin flasks
strolling main road home or to that gleaming rail
that provided a town’s livelihood
my grandfather worked that rail and my father too
providing me with the means
to take that broke back-heart break scenic route
out of town for good and forgetting
until now
ii
coming back everything changed
and the fat men were now old and wiry
sitting on subsidized railway porches
looking on main road maybe thinking rail
going to that station I found it desolated
and the once shimmering humming rail
all rusted up and silent
I touched it and imagined the once proud spirit of it
corroding away as the blue collar folks on the porch

Gleaming Daggers - Curved double bladed smile, it is the light
reflecting off their polished surface.
Eyes of Mischief - Glitter as luminescent stars on a clear
midsummer's night.
Exploding - A heart that bleeds strength with each firework like
beat. . . beat. . . beat. . . beat.
Fluttering Hands - Touching lightly, butterfly wings, a wispy
brush.
Framed Fire - In a halo of light bursting through the atmosphere
as if a million falling stars
Sparks Shutter - a memory becomes the future as if pride had to reinvent itself
in silent searching

In the Twlight Gleaming
Is the end only a beginning? A dawn to dust transformation forever bending?
Always learning changing new thoughts evolving, devour blood thirty ideas
Stopping not arising. Humanity forward time rushes forth, slowing advancing
DNA shifting. Changing the path ever gleaming. Ideas go on as man ascending,
Stuck in his tracks by pride not clearing. In the space of movement not caring
But ending, waves of compassion ever upending. Up from the ground, the dawns
Early light. Changes us slowly to heaven pure delight. Thank God for dust, we are
All made, we return to ashes before times break of day. Amen
