Best Fulfilled Poems
A fulfilled life is verily possible with God
the marvelous perfect Planner
designing it by His magnificent grace
to radiate in us divine awesome wonders...
Thanking the Creator ceaselessly makes life meaningful
especially treasuring with praise His gift of eternal deliverance
bringing security from sin-penalty's condemnation
toward triumphant soul-nurture and spiritual revival...
Being blessed by the Saviour is sure delight
since His presence is insured, even His ready guidance
with His wisdom for a victorious walk by faith that pleases Him
enabling the doing of what's right, exalting His name...
By being peacemakers, a worthy life we can optimize
as believers of the Lord, blissfully forgiven
while showing care midst woes' affliction
indeed sharing, overcoming selfishness...
Midst crises, a peace-filled life can abound
as we trust the great Provider Who satisfies our needs
He keeps His promises; every lack He supplies
along contentment that He alone can suffice...
Aware of fulfillment revolving around Christ's faithfulness
our best response is willing, obedient stewardship
to reach out to others with earnest compassion
following His example of humble servanthood...
Privileged to enjoy a fulfilled life is victory seal
marking our earnest ministry for the Master
whom He has bestowed with His Gospel story
to spread His love that someone may also have fullness* in Him!
*Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Dramatic Monologue
Desires fulfilled under amethyst skies
Soothing the sounds of our tempted hearts beating
Satin your skin glistens bright in the sun
Sweetwater lips made for endlessly kissing
Eyes now insist that our day is not done
Silhouettes form on a promise laced sunset
Apricot heavens in marmalade blush
Soft pastels sigh of our breathless intentions
Harmonies sung in a smooth whispered hush
Gently we lie beneath star sprinkled driftings
Passions explored as a new moon does rise
Pearl drop shimmers of love’s invitation
Desires fulfilled under amethyst skies
Warm midnight dreams rain of simplistic notions
Evening expands the horizons so far
Listen as winds whisper feathered emotions
Love will be waiting wherever we are
Good night Soupers

When pleasure feels
like a awake dream
Come home with me
Best Friends Forever
Forever ... is a very long time
Today ~ tomorrow ~ like yesterday
A friend with four legs
makes life easier
for the one that is very small
in a big world
You must love to be loved again
Always share sorrow and joy
Your blessings are abundant

Regardless of THE LONELY HOURS it must have sat IN SHADOWS EMPTY and
BANISHED since 1864, the CHAIR OF DESPAIR CONTEST(ed) is not LOST IN THE
PAST. It has evolved into GRANDPA’S PRAYER CHAIR even though it was nearly
FORGOTTEN amongst the BIRTH AND DEATH(s) of the family’s history. This is a CHAIR
NOT FOR SIT-DOWN TYPE because it isn’t plush, comfy or frequently used. Its’ true
DISCOVERY is seeing AN AGING PAGE of family dreams where you can
SIT WITH MEMORIES and be SOLACED by this CHAIR IN A SHADOWED ROOM.
To say NOTHING HAPPENED HERE only applies to events BEFORE THE SHAKERS SEAT
was in place. THE CHAIR has become the fabric of the family mosaic, fulfilling its’
destiny as A MUSEUM PEACE for all who have vision and are willing to see.
This narrative was inspired by poets’ winning titles in the “Chair in Shadowed Room”
contest. JT

now when i look back in history i have come to discover
that true African-american history is basically undercover
most cultures know their history and from whence they came to be
but somehow that is missing when it comes to African-american history
the Proclamation Emancipation and the Dred Scott Case
two important historical incidents that were concerned about race
and when i look at the Constitution i did find
that in 1865 on February 1st was the day that President Lincoln did sign
but in fact the actual date that this law came alive
was December 6th in the year 1865
a covenant fulfilled God sent the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King
an anointed man of God who made civil rights his thing
a covenant fulfilled is when we testify
as eye witnesses of God's work and how African-americans have survived
the evidence is written in the Holy Scriptures
a corroboration of testimonies that gives the full gospel picture
you can't let the stones in life impede you from getting to Christ
and don't allow the stones to cry out as a witness to your life
and don't let the stones hinder you by putting obstacles in your way
just trust in God to move them as you praise Him and pray
a covenant fulfilled in telling our people's story
as we're witnesses to God's goodness, mercy, grace and glory
a covenant fulfilled bringing a brother or a sister to Christ
to let them experience the goodness of God that can change their life
a covenant fulfilled

Dramatic Verse
I wonder how you read my thought and have my very feel.
I envy what you see and how you make it real. My heart
Fears your boldness is not in me. I urge it still to fly
Above fear. Thy true skill still amazes me and I pray
Time makes me the master of thee, because I practice
Thy every deed and never was I an absentee, for
My heart purposed to be great. Time shall birth my courage yet
In all I will not deny that you are my dream fulfilled.

Light Verse
Martin Luther King Once Said I Have A Dream
That was on August 28TH, 1963
BUT little did he know that when he spoke those four worlds
He would be changing the world's history.
In the 50S and 60S, the world started to change
Things were moving at a much faster pace
New pressures were put on peoples all over the world
Especially The African American race.
Blacks were spat on, beaten, and hanged back then
They did not have the same privileges as whites
They were treated like animals instead of women and men
And had almost no constitutional rights.
However God up high heard their terrible cry
And chose to put an end to their suffering
HE sent some soldiers to stand up for His people
One of these was DR Martin Luther King.
He was a powerful man but he preached nonviolence
You can't stop hatred with hatred, he would say
We as a people will get to the Promised Land
But we can only get there by doing it God's way.
He stood fearlessly before his oppressors
He had a powerful yet intellectual voice
He didn't arm himself nor hide for protection
Because his Faith was his weapon of choice.
His enemies and oppressors did fear him
They couldn't wait to see him dead and gone
Thus he fell like so many soldiers before him
But not before his seed had been sown.
His words reached the darkest parts of this country
And had white America seeing in a brand new way
He said let freedom ring all over this world
And that freedom is still ringing today.
We still have a long way to go brothers and sisters
Before we've reached total human equality
But I thank God Almighty for DR Martin Luther King
And that we're not where we used to be.
Today there are more soldiers fighting for us
Shinning light on those oppressors who hide
And regardless of what our status in this world may be
We are each and everyone filled with pride.
I often think back on the words of DR King
They murdered the man, but his dream was not killed
Because of this I've learned to take nothing for granted
For I know that I am his dream fulfilled.

Do not simply promise someone
If you're not sure of the outcome
Not ruling out the possibility of unexpected circumstances
Not ruling out the limit of your ability
A promise is not made to be broken
It's made to be fulfilled
It's made to light up people's heart
It's made to help those in need
And so don't ever
Simply make too many promises
Before you ask the permission from God
Before you ask a promise from God

May Your Every Day
My wish to you is health and happiness,
as you were to wake into your day.
May the early morning sun be so bright,
that it shines on you in every way.
A gentle breeze caresses your face,
as you walk along life's busy day.
I hope all of your dreams, be fulfilled,
as you achieve your every goal.
And when your day comes to an end,
may peace touch your heart and soul.

To lay my life and labor on God’s loving Light
Precious purpose possessed with prayers granted,
As humble acceptance abides within...always.
His Loyalty lifts night’s loneliness, Oh I let go--
Of grievances -- ever grateful for guidance’s fill,
Freeing the self from fear, my faith aflame:
Praise be this promise assured by Peace awakened. Amen

Isaiah 43: 2
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you; and when you go
through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.

Alliteration
Do you know what it’s like
To have your freedom back at last,
To be able to choose new colours
Once pinned out of reach to the mast,
To find tho’ you’ve lost your employment,
You can still retain all of your pride,
To discover the grass is greener
On the unexplored other-side,
To patch up your battered ego,
Once thought irretrievably torn,
To feel a strong urge to celebrate,
When others expect you to mourn,
To take a fresh look at careers,
When you thought it was all in the past,
To discover your destiny’s liquid,
And never in concrete cast,
To realise your aspirations,
Which no more are held on ice,
To alter your life’s ingredients,
And add a small pinch of spice,
To discover you’re no longer frightened
By things that are different or new,
To embrace all those sensible changes,
And take a much loftier view,
To keep everything in context,
And never let monsters appear,
To look to your dreams and take aim,
Keeping your sights crystal clear,
To be intimidated no longer
By applicants younger than you,
To know a wise captain will always
Choose an experienced crew,
To retain your sense of adventure,
Your instinctive love of fun,
To put down the now closed chapter,
And enjoy the one just begun,
To be welcomed back to life’s table,
And invited to sit down and dine,
To feast till you’re utterly bloated,
And swill it all down with sweet wine.

Mahi's husband was hungry
Hungry in his longing
One day to be able to stay at an Ashram
His aptitude for yoga was insurmountable
Money was not plentiful and savings were low
The journey would be expensive
Mahi was a brilliant crafter
Being habile made her weaving exceptional.
So she spent all her spare time
Weaving and exchanging her wares
Came the day when she called ..." Ayush"
Giving him the monies she had saved
The journey was made
Ayush's hunger fulfilled
Home was once more a place of happiness.
