The speech of the winds is understood not by the ears but by the eyes— By Poet.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not only does the wind sing — it speaks too,
At times in whispers, at times it thunders,
Strangely enough, humans know its language,
For it speaks in our various native tongue.

It foretells the course of natural events—
when rains will fall, when long dry spells will reign,
when nature rages and seeks appeasement from us,
And when its pleasures, too, it longs to share with glee.

Though all may hear, but only a few discern—
       those who attend the whispers of the wind;
They are deemed wise, for wisdom rules their minds,
They make hay when sun shines, and store for rainy days.

No day goes by without the wind making speech,
Yet we're thrilled more by its song than by counsel.
Still it speaks, so it behooves on us to listen.

Not that it speaks in a tongue too strange for us—
 yet some ears remain deaf to what it says;
But no eyes are blind to all it reveals,
So if ears hear none, the eyes will yet see all.

Premium Member What the Stars Foretell

Here I am
Grounded on earth
And, my fate
Hangs in the stars

My future
Is predicted by people
Who are unsure
Of their own fate

For them,
It is profitable business—
They have absolutely
Nothing at stake

All they have to do
Is to play with my anxiety
And, I am sure
To shell out nickels

The astrologers
Tell you,
“What the stars foretell”
Or, so they say!

Their very presence
Only but foreshadowing
Of how life will be.
In the future, what I see
Is me, finally, so free.

Nor Could I Foretell You

NOR COULD I FORETELL YOU

Before I leave I could see
Bated hoods ofTrials
Of love and life .
Protruding stuffed pocktes
Of havesack
Moth eaten trails and judgements
Of our love and life .

Heaving I left the terrain
Seeing not wayside brooks and inns
Exiles glaring and grunting
Nor could I foretell you for good.

Cab moved disinterestedly
Before I could hear
A deep moan fading out
That rose from our soul
Inside the embalmed body
Of our life.

Nor Could I Foretell You

NOR I FORETELL YOU

Before I leave I could'nt see you
Bated hoods of trials
Of life and love .
Protruding stuffed pockets
Of havesack,
Moth eaten trails and judgments
Of our love and life.

Heaving I left the terrain
Seeing not wayside brooks and inns
Exiles glaring and grunting
Nor could I faretell your for good.

Cab moved disinterestedly
Before I could hear
A deep moan fading out
That rose from our soul
Inside the embalmed body
Of our life.

Foretell the Soul

THE EYES FORETELL THE WAY TO ONE’S SOUL.
A COLOSSAL GATHERING OF WARMTH AND LOVE
THAT SHINE AND SIMMER WITH EACH BLINK.
WITH A SIMPLE GLANCE, IT RADIATES TO ANOTHERS SOUL.
A DOUBLETAKE AND MORE IS FOUND.
AN ENERGY THAT IS PASSED & FELT TO THE VERY CORE.
MAGNETISM SO STRONG
CONTINUALLY DRAWING EACH CLOSER TO THE OTHER.
THE COINCIDING POLES RESIST ANY RELEASE.
AWAKENED TO THE WEIGHTLESSNESS
AS FEET SEARCH FOR EARTH.
DISCOVERING, THROUGH LAUGHTER AND JOY,
THE ROD HAS ALREADY PROVIDED GROUNDING
THROUGH PURITY, WITH SAFETY AND SECURITY.
A FLASH, THE CLOSING OF THE EYES
IMAGES AND FEELINGS, NEVER TO BE CONVEYED,
ROCK THE INNER SANCTUM.
THE FORCE OF WHICH IS UNDENIABLE.
COLLIDING OF THE FLESH - HEAT SEARING, DRIVING, POUNDING, WANTING
AND YEARNING – AWAITING IMPACT.
MELTING INTO ONE ANOTHER FOR A BRIEF MOMENT
WHILE SHARING, LEARNING AND UNDERSTANDING
EVERYTHING SAID.
FEARS, TEARS, WORDS NOT YET SPOKEN
NEED - BONDED AND FORGED.
AN EXTRADRONIDARY COMBINATION OF MIND, BODY & SOUL STAMPED AS A
DATE IN CREATION.
A TRADEMARK REGISTERED WITH LANDSLIDE PROPORTIONS. FORMED TO
ACCENTUATE THE FIT
AS SUCH PRECIOUS MAKINGS ARE TO BE ADMIRED,
SHARED AND CARED FOR.
FOREVER FINETUNING THE PROCESS,
NUTURING TO ENSURE THE UNIQUENESS, PURITY AND BEAUTY REMAIN
FOREVER WITHIN.

What Red Stars Foretell

Jack Ma once what a force, now all spent,
Pony Ma of Tencent on ascent.
In china, asked to bend,
They fall flat than defend,
Demanded when, pay up red-star rent,
In public never rant
Ever be obedient,
Know, Red Stars never care for their cants!

Poet’s note: A limerick a bit extended. Behind the great firewall of China there seems to exist a parallel universe: Baidu, not Google; Weibo in place of Tweeter; Alibaba instead of Amazon or eBay…. WeChat of Tencent is an ‘everything’ app there. If Jack Ma of Alibaba is a spent force, Pony Ma of Tencent is a rising star getting to be a red giant, red in more sense than one.
