Premium Member Shakespeare Has Risen

A conversation overheard between Shakespeare and his former muse.

"So many things hath turned to utter folly over the ages.
Hundreds of years since I've penned pages and pages.
What these ancient eyes of mine doth now conceive
plead, 'Return to thy grave, Bard, for here you'll grieve."

"In sooth, fair maiden muse, I know not why I am so sad.
Perchance to dream, is this a scheme or have I gone mad?
Enlighten me as to what's become of life as I once knew it.
Bitter dregs are coffee? Bring me tea or I shall lose my wit!"

"Fie to you and the darts of scornful glances from the eyes
of natives half-dressed. Is modesty held in compromise?"
It's accepted attire by everyone, nothing like in the past.
"I shall not rudely stare, but I find myself quite flabbergast.

What of the churl who spits venom into that man's face?
Doth women in this day act like shrews? What a disgrace!
Is not thy husband honored as both her lord and keeper?"
Women are equal. She looks at him like she's the grim reaper.

"The lady doth protest too much. That's what me thinks.
A goblet of ale tis what I need, and then forty winks.
That minstrel sings gibberish. Has he no pride in himself?"
He sings a Christmas song about an elf who sits upon a shelf.

"O, teach me how I should forget from whence I have come.
I do not belong here. I need a draft to sleep and benumb.
Romeo's poison was quick. Thus, with a tender kiss he died.
To chamber I betide to cleanse this stain I shall not abide.

Out! Out Damned spot! Thy splotch besmirches as if blood.
Begone fore I hear my heartbeats pounding with each thud.
On the banks of Stratford-On-Avon tis where I long to be,
rewriting Romeo and Juliet so in the future he will decree...

To Juliet when she says, Romeo. Romeo, wherefore art thou?
The lad shall reply, "What do you want from me, you cow?"
Dear Bard, you mustn't change a word of what's been written.
For centuries women have read your lines and were smitten.

"I shall nary breathe a word of this ill journey to the future.
Thine lips are sealed forever more without need of suture.
Back to the grave where I belong, most gladly shall I return.
In eternal sleep, ne'er to dream of such time I did spurn."

Premium Member Wordingtane

Beyond the trembly weald to glassy glane
beneath the wooden breath where thoughts remain
'twas a harkened land called Wordingtane.

The Wizard of Words ruled this land
in grips vernacular he had sturly hand, gimbly grand.
None in Wordingtane fair match for him
he needn't fiat, he could whim
his ekel pronouncements in spelling fusion
for peasants quiet conclusion.

Speaking by riddles it's easy to say,
save a fool, the perfect way.
Long swiffen over time to mumbly masses
in rhyme, it nestled in just fine.

Amber all who would argue
fribbled and frambled tied up
and scrambled, brains rambled,
fell off trillig tracks while
simpering sloggers couldn't get back.

The Riddler tacked to try who came
from afar he posed an answer assert
that vored in abyss and he lost his head.
"No place for his hat", the Wizard said,
"That was that", the crowd anored
in callactic dord their cries flayed
and all obeyed.

Then the Fiddler spun his music trick
and the Wizard metered in time,
felled him with a trocken rhyme.
Then proclaimed the silly Fool
entered his aclaim so tangled a wordmess
he'd profess, using words unheard,
the Wizard unslurred, spinning in a web.

So rilly and rich the "Wiz" confused began
a twitch to twitch he did till flabbergast
through the night till morning past.
Whence he fell asleep at foolish feet
with his verily own vorpal blade in hand
the Wizard's head, in a wreck left his neck,
and the fool would rule in grim humor
this land to tell so trundly true,
the end 'twas justine jewel.

Now the sky is bright, land just right,
'tis the wave whilst the Fool did fight
and twisted foils stretched in hand
he won his refrain, startling reign.

Premium Member Las Vegas Baby

We went to Las Vegas for the very first time,
My husband, father in law, and I all partners in crime.
Each of us brought $500 to spend.
We hoped it would last through the week's end.

I was itching to try my hand at slots,
While they hit the tables like a couple of hot shots.
My plan was to keep any winnings I won,
And if I lost, I would be done.

We had a grand old time for that week,
Hoping we would hit a lucky streak.
We went to Hoover Dam, casinos, and shows.
Sin City was an exciting place that never closed.

So far my luck on the slots was pretty good,
But nothing earth-shattering like I thought it would.
Not feeling well, one day I stayed behind in our suite,
While they went to a Holyfield fight, a real treat.

Later I decided to go downstairs to get a snack,
And saw a slot machine calling me, “Please come back.”
So I sat down at this double diamond slot to play,
When all hell broke loose, with money hitting the tray.

I had hit the lucky seven double diamonds.
With only two coins, it was auspicious timing.
My eyes were as big as saucers in shock.
My heart was beating loudly, as people gathered to gawk.

The ringing was deafening in my ears,
As I waited for the management to pay me amidst cheers.
My jackpot was $3200 after Uncle Sam’s portion.
I headed back to my room after the stupendous commotion.

I spread the hundred dollar bills all over the bed in anticipation
To see my family’s reaction upon return, and their exclamation.
When Dave and Frank walked into the room, they stopped in flabbergast.
The sight of the money on the bed almost gave them a heart attack.

It was as much fun seeing their shocked expressions,
As it was hitting the lucky sevens in succession.
“I thought you were sick,” my husband said in shock.
I replied, ”Well I had to get something to eat, and I played a slot.”

The rest of the trip I still won a few more bucks.
Even at the airport I won $200 with unexplainable luck.
Dave and Frank played hard, but were going home bust.
But I was going home a winner, which satisfied my wanderlust!

Ode To Reality: 3,573

i cant deny
i seek to fool the interlock
jockey quick to interact
the vista stitched to chili socks
so quick to miss who really rocks
a kid can list the million pox
that riddle the most civil thoughts
freedom needs some nourishment
the evil deeds with servants sent
jealousy a thirsty quench
the melody a ghastly wrench
two pennies hardly make a dent
flabbergast, tricks in contempt
the ladder casted main event
for many cases cause to vent
ideally equal no small percent
super man or mr. kent?
peter pan on the internet
 workin on my seventh sense
send me all your sentiments
assets that are moral dense
floral holding sponsorship
counting all the counterfeit
monetary partially
cationically the catalyst to counter it
shocking im seeing toxic
the images not the objects
the sequence of events
perpetuating these prospects
im guesstimating weve lost it
ego the evil holding
 our courage hostage
the future much closer to hospice

Rise Up Black and White Children

Rise up  child,
Rise high.
It is time to ignore the existence of racism  discrimination , antagonism,  tribalism and  xenophobia on earth.
As It is hard for you to change some people who hate the truth.
Stop playing victim to favour others,
Correct your small mistakes and challenge them face to face with truth.
There are no big liars who can stand when their lies are exposed by the truth.
Focus on your heavenly duties and ignore  the intimidation of demonic spirits which are surrounding you.
Uplift the neutral golden flag higher,
Play neutral between the nations  of ancient conficts which turned to racial silent wars on earth.

It is time to expose lies,
Time to wipe out tears of millions of people who continue living in fear ,
                                      With pains,
                                     traumatised.
The sun is shining bright from  high place
Look at the  sun morning, midi and the  evening
You will understand your mission on earth.
It is a hard  task reason why  you continue witnessing many  challengers here and there.
Just go,
Keep going,
Going on the  earth
It is  hard to get  credit  from some people who made you their enemies because of  their secret agenders.
Your being so good and  kind will always sound bad to them,  as their final decision  is to always  see you under their feet.
Fire and Water are not friends but both two can kill their innocent  people whenever they want to prove their powers.
When you visit the territory  of carnivores,  do not knock for six when you find the skeletons of their love ones.
When you go to any  graveyard,  do not flabbergast to find the graves of some people who were killed by some friends, relatives , neighbours and colleagues innocently.
Majority of the  world politicians and business people dont have  mercy whenever they feel  money or  powers disturb   " interesting  deals interrupt ."
It is so sad to tell you that but it is the naked truth about some systems of this  cruel World.
Carnivores eat herbivores and other carnivores .
It is none of your business,
Don't interfere their businesses,
Continue to speak the truth to help them change in the future.
I thank you.

If I Can Not Astonish You With All My Wisdoms

If I can not astonish you with all my wisdoms;
I can always flabbergast and,
In absolute certainty, astound you
With such collection of stupidities,
Said in such wondrous zest
And absolutely no spark of talent,
That God above, first - cringe
And then – erupt in laughter.

Shattered Trust

The times we decide to put credence in others,
Comes the time when said credence is made null.
Null and void.
The mind becomes devoid
Devoid of trust. Why?
Devoid of faith. Why?
The flabbergast that accompanies the 'shattering,'
Sometimes; no extrapolation.
No deduction.

Shattered trust.

Veiled amongst massive granite rock formations of El Capitan and half dome
Lies picturesque valley exhibiting numerous majestic waterfalls’ grand splendor
Thunderous cascades of gushing cold water bouncing happily over rocks
Attract explorers from all around sphere making them flabbergast
Dancing water droplets flickering like glitter in sun rays
Make visitors pause and amazed showing shimmering rainbow waves
Thrilling and exciting experiences of saturating misty trails
Soak audacious hikers casting enchanting shivering spells
Seeping and dribbling streams deviating through giant sequoias and pine forests
Enhance beauty in spectacular ways alongside gorgeous wildflower displays
Perseverance of strenuous hikes to waterfall base
Bring trekkers immense gratification at attainment
Miraculous effects of golden sunset light on mountain range
Illuminate tower of Half Dome in dazzling shades of red and orange
Small heard of deer resting in meadow watching traffic ways
Appear happy and content listening to nature’s tale
Tired visitors returning after long hikes and explorations of trails
Beam with smile filling their hearts with views of backdrops of cliffs and twilight sky pallet
Glimpses of Mother Nature’s many scenic wonders in the valley bring sacredness

Premium Member Emma Emu

Emma Emu is a large bird.
She’s taller than I am – absurd!
Her voice is really well-endowed,
and she can drum a song out loud.
She is my friend and I am proud!

With three-toed feet, she is so fast
She runs right by in a bold blast.
Her ardent admirers amassed,
I watch her run in flabbergast!
She will be on tonight’s sportscast!

Her legs so long, they are bizarre.
For those who run, she raised the bar.
She could outrun a blue race car!
If she were human and ran so far,
she’d be a champion track star!

Spring, Flabbergast Me With Your Scented Flowers

Spring, flabbergast me with your scented flowers:
show me the gracious lilies and flaboyant tulips
as they spent their time brightening lovers's eyes;
yes, open up your garden where the red sun dips,
and the voluptuous lovers hug and passionately kiss...
rising in me a desire that takes me back to youthful days!

Down the rusty path, flanked by pines and fir trees,
the blue-jay parched on the lowest branch, is quite and waits;
at exactly twelve o' clock he starts warbling as a siren wails...
we have become friends, and he inspires me to write melodies,
but without a pencil and music sheet I must retain those notes into this active brain,
until I get home and write them down while he shelters himself from he misty rain.

Spring, flabbergast me with your scented flowers:
show me the stately sunflowers and the wild roses
growing taller than any plant seen in the wind-swept wilderness
as the mariachis play their song to console a marchioness sitting in a breezy corner;
these aren't musicians found in a parade, they are peasants with colorful costumes...
soon someone will say," Alla manana, Segnora. " as the calm returns on the shore.

Divisive, just like in the sad past
Ethnicity, yet again is his mast
Mouth sweetening for more votes to cast
Assuring in words to flabbergast
Glories used, which ended in a blast
Only to capture their poor hearts fast
God, always mentioned from first to last
Underneath his mind, money is vast
End please, the mandate for this outcast

Silver and Gold

wet hair surrounds my face
as I stare into this virtual space...
of Kinshala in all her blue
wearing a catsuit (with ears too)
and within peerings
I hold heart hearings,
  that whisper longings - You...
(there's nothing else I can do...)

Albeit days bygone, in languid sky
passing by, I often stop mid - blink, and spy
at misty dreams that climb new heights
while sipping time, unwritten - my
unobtrusive wrinkled sky...sublime

that we should even attempt
    this try
at visions rich -

       But why?

...to reconvene such a super
                              Scene
...to flabbergast, and Behold !!

To summon from the Crypt of Olde,

a wealth beyond silver,
                              and of Gold...

Premium Member Trying To Update Alice

A revised version of Alice was up for grabs in the clutches of my mind.
With a wizened worldly white rabbit, drinking mushroom tea of a new kind.
I began plotting and scheming a plot that would flabbergast, awe and bind.
The others editors had no imagination, so I finally said “Oh, never mind!”

Bet You Don'T Like To Read Poems

Nicely penned poems are very rare to be adored.
The brilliant wisdom expressed through words is always being ignored.
People care less about sharing what poets want to convey.
They care more about the issues of others; have much more things to say.

A rhyme royal poem is nothing compared to a Facebook meme.
A disdained Dizain is more silent than a Twitter’s scream.
And so my folks will give you thumbs up for a cleavage post.
They get more a thousand hearts than a magnificently written prose.

If poetry can only flabbergast the world once again and trend,
Its words can be passed through ages and transcend.
For what is worth to listen and read is a literary masterpiece.
Not to mention my neighbor who shares rumors online; I never get peace.

If all that is going on in the media can be transposed to poetry,
It would make books of elegies and dramatic monologues in my country.
But I can sense the people’s loss of interest; many poems are ignored.
Nicely penned poems are very rare to be adored.

Note: I always feel that my friends on social media have no care at all about poems that I posted. I don't know but I just find things really very weird.

On a plane flying to Vancouver,
An odd lady said that I knew her,
I was just flabbergast,
After years now at last,
My wife of forty is much cruder.
