Premium Member Fight or Flight Mode Switched On

Fight or flight mode always on
Can't explain to anyone
what is going on in life
Internal/External strife

"Take a breath; you'll be alright"
Set a match to dynamite
World without is going mad
World within is getting sad

Cortisol spikes all the time
Rarely am I doing fine
"Wake up! Someone's calling you!"
"Look around! There's much to do!"

Balance work and what's at home
You're fenced in, not free to roam
Danger's waiting; don't go far
Bombs disfigure, leave a scar

"Caregiver" your major role
Try to keep it in control
Energy is on the wane
Losing marbles, can't stay sane

On decline is mental health
Send out feelers on the stealth
Do they know I'm on the edge?
Can't hold on to "live life" pledge

Eulogies their time to speak
During life, played hide and seek
No one came to find me here
Though they knew my life was drear

Fight or flight mode, cortisal
Will make sure I take the fall
When I'm laid there in the ground
Please, say silent! Not a sound!

Don't be sad; no, do not cry!
Don't you try to fathom why!
All is well; I am at peace
The fires in my life now cease

I'll enjoy a nice long sleep
Eyes all dry, for I'll not weep
Hope I'll hear that trumpet blast
Rise up and reach home at last

There in heaven all is well
Thankfully, I've skipped on hell
Here is only harmony
Fight or flight is history!

~Marionette Master~

All my dreams evolve around my wooden floor
Candles and clowns the show must go on

~~~~
The Moon slowly moves its way into my room
Dust pushes through my window making shadow puppets on my walls
The talent on my walls dance, scaring my sweet dreams away
No cradle-songs tonight
Dangling artisans’ fingertips scratching down my core
Exquisite observation, an alley down “Death Street.”
Panic rattles my bone,
Stuttering a taste of ma' ma' ma' mama' off my lips
Grandfather clock ticks with every pull of the string
Invisible jellyfish puppets swaying their feelers that sting my site
A superior skill eating away at my fear
I can’t breathe,
I can’t move,
It dangles!
What can I do?
Carved Marionette figures locked in my head
A game in which trickery and deception are the main events
Staged with an evil sinister mask, sanctioning my nightmares.
No one to rescue me from the danger of this bedside playground.
The puppeteer engages to provoke me with my own dolls.
A dramatic performance throttles my mind …….
I cannot come out from under my blanket,
I cannot run,
My hands cannot reach the circus print lampshades!
A shadow show played in slow motion!!!
Realizing the moon can pull a world of strings with its own light
***
Suddenly, boney fingers from the sunrise show me the way…
I look down until my toes touch the cold wooden floor
I creep and creep,
Then I flick on my lamp.
The purple walls swallowed the orgy drawing inspired by the mooned night
A huge diversity of graphic illusions of puppetry in my room vanishes in one click
Mother please no more Pinocchio in my lullabies! ;-)
Poetry tears ..
Crystalline ants march down my face
Like little soldiers they line up in formation
communicating with their feelers
words drip drip drip onto the page
Leaching out
Spreading a message…
Are you paying attention to what they say
As they splash from the puddles of my mind
They run run run
Premium Member The Clarity of Eye
Each new day elucidates the night
bringing shadows, allusions, forth to clear
the angst of shattered memory and fright,
opening eyes once shut with nighttime fear.
Each new day illuminates the mind
brushing aside the cobwebs caused by age,
sending feelers out to search and align
with an expanding universal stage.
Each new day testifies to the endlessness
of life within the spin and weave of time;
the immortal Eye extrudes largesse
reel in each floral scent, each kiss, sublime.
All praise the majesty, the all seeing Eye
which returns to us a new day at sunrise.
Premium Member As Lovely Mannequins
Iconoclastic lots of marshiest beauty
Clenched sublime altruistic nature bore –
Morals indefatigably humbled, reasoning in bondage –
Bondage of the highest periphery
Blessings encountered in watered chaos.
Blocked nuts with scanty feelers,
Inducing mere bouts of euphoric impasses
Rarely a gift of fatherly nature.
Hay filled tubs called but heads
Preferably a misfortune
To their worthless masses.
Maevius a reader’s delight be
In the fumbling fold
Of this rowdy rendezvous.
More ore less classy oddities
On deferred pedestals
As lovely Mannequins
To display for sale.
Now Hyperion his burning sword behold
None to hear Triton’s call to arms.
Pisces
Most days they’re sweet
Most times they’re kind
A celestial magician
Their light leaves you blind
They love with their heart
They care with their soul
They like to escape
Until they feel whole
Neptune’s daughters
Can swim in rough waters
They can be sweet little mermaids
Or sharks that can slaughter
They’re sensitive and sweet
Some don’t even eat meat
Super friendly and wise
They have big soulful eyes
The artistic healers
The energy feelers
The escape artists
Your typical dreamers
Raging
The sea moves rapidly,
My mind does not
Move at all,
Gray feelers into the fog
Through the mist beyond,
Dew drops over my hands
And onto my cold feet,
Nothing equates as much
As this view does,
I harbor hate
For her evil eyes,
Piercing through the grey
I don’t see anything
But her trickery,
And the blood rain
Falls,
Pools of it is near,
But not on my dew
drenched soul,
I scream
Loud echoes trouble me
And she quibbles
She quibbles
Premium Member The Whirling Butterfly
I stepped into a world of pinks, reds, yellow, and purple.
Bee’s, butterflies, and hummingbirds flying free!
Long flowing stems swaying,  in a soft summer breeze.
An aroma, fresh cut hay, teasing my nose!
Smiling, I recall that day…  not so long ago.
Closing my eyes,  I inhale a welcomed scent.
Looking up with dark green eyes -
I feel my Grandmothers smile warm my face.
Calloused finger grasping my small hand.
Pointing, she drew my eye to a small delicate thing.
Pink wings and tiny feelers,  swaying in the wind!
She bent slowly, whispering, in my eager ear,
“It’s a Whirling Butterfly”
She said, with a giggle and a sigh.
Time passes quickly, like rushing waters of a fall.
In my garden now, pinks, reds, purple and yellows.
Bee’s, butterflies, and hummingbirds fly free.
Delicate stems, dancing, to music, of an evening breeze.
Movements, drawing me, to a special place.
Pointing, I show my Granddaughter the prize!
Excited, she looks at me with her big blue eyes.
I smile, tenderly at the soft red curls
sofly lying around her sweet little face.
Tears swell, in a dusty throat,
as she grasps my calloused finger.
She spies the pink wings, the yellow feelers,
swaying in the wind.
Whispering, “ It’s a Whirling Butterfly ”
I almost cry! With a giggle, and a sigh.
The Ruba’iyat of Créteil Lake – Part Twenty-Six
Soon all the rooms at trysting hotel were for years booked through
By pilgrims from Mindanao and Minangkabau to Timbuktu
Saudi princes bought the hotels at Carrefour de Pompadour
Kings of Malaysia with retinues planned long séjours
Sea Anne-Anne’s “broken news” chartered all the sailing club’s boats
The Mayor sacked the Accounts Chief for failing to raise the rates
Sea Be-As put out feelers to buy the Pompiers de Paris
All-Cheese-Seas-Roar made a secret pact with the mosque’s prelates
All-Lions-Fun-Press opened offices at the Préfecture’s terrace
Bee-Bee-Sea late as usual wanted a Royal Palace
So they got the Queen to confer Lordship on the Président
Beings-Port set about organizing annual matches face to fa	ce
Between Robo-Cops and the Darling Dears clad in chadors
On one condition: they all fought it out in the lake outdoors
Just then His Holiness with his yea-sayers strode out for air
When boom-voiced Commandant pounced on them with Robo-Cop jaws:
“Pray! Esteemed Prophet’s Emissary! Lend me thy sovereign ear!
Habeas corpus ad subjiciendum this writ makes clear
Miscreant Tent Maker’s son Omar doth s’installe à demeure… »
« STOP ! » ordained the Imam, « I must forthwith lead the dohr prayer !”
Premium Member Jellyfish - a Quickie
Translucent mauve and purple on a strict medusian mission
                         In rhythmic undulation bubble-shaped to thwart suspicion.
                         Together they are swarming as they quiver with ambition.
                         They hide away the feelers – meant to help radar evasion
                             Infesting seas and oceans. It’s the jellyfish invasion!
No Energy
What to do, what to do
I feel like doing something but I don’t have a clue
I want to see something new
Or maybe invest my time in to
Something
Oh my God, why ennui embraced me
Find someone else, I’m searching for glee
Praying and asking, knowing it won’t come
Maybe it’s just a mindset that developed from
Everything
Turn on the fun, my switch is broken
The dark in which I ate boredom got me chokin
For the non-feelers, you may think I’m jokin
Almighty electrician, fix me, my switch is broken
Who pays this roaring mass?
Which pretends it has nothing to do with me?
Yet keeps pulling its antenna,
To watch what I do?
Who pays these seat feelers?
To gawk at me
Even when I am yawning?
Who pays this swam
To creep into my bolts
And unlock the secrets
Of My private business
Who pays us?
 For I have been possessed by their intrigue
I find myself doing what they do
Yet I am not paid at all
I am going on strike
This boss has to pay me
Because I am becoming a workaholic
A Butterfly On My Window
A butterfly on my window
A symbol of rebirth
A sense that someone is to change his destiny
It keeps on fluttering its wings to my heart beat
Stopping to listen
Its feelers keeps on wanting to feel
Its tastes sweet emotions as if it is like nectar
 It wants to know who that being is
About to change his or her life
The flow of energy
The tainted being ready to burst to new
Life it cherish and it has two
Fluttering its wings again
Stopping to listen
The path of righteous and righteousness is about
The feel of true innocents like a child is reborn
The butterfly is waiting to see if this new birth is ready
Reaching its wings for that life
Staying put till the wonders are full filled
Everyone has energy intertwined to creatures around
The earth is a whole heart not just several
My life is so pleasant I can have a butterfly sign, a symbol of life
So imaginable, free of fear
No birds are even touching the butterfly weird
No birds are even trying
The birds are actually just sitting in front of the window
The butterfly is still on my window
It has not moved but to the rhythm of my heart beat
The butterfly
So soulful
So beautiful
Grace
And very colorful
I know that it takes time to take flight
But I would think it would have done it already
With birds so near, and so dangerous
But danger is just life
Life is not to fear
Life is to live
Do what you have to
Do what is for you
Do what is needed
Not wanted
Fear is wanted
But peace is seldom achieved
So beautiful
So erratic
But we all live
Live and Love
The butterfly on my window reminds me of
Love Letter From My Heart
years have past since I felt loves spark
Dancing through the park
Trying to kick start my lonely heart
Getting my feelings out there among the visual arts
Hoping to find a place to out smart
What makes love disappear into the dark
Keeping a safety chain around all the best parts
Looking for a woman willing to give all her heart
Realizing when love starts your way
You must have all your feelers on display
Igniting emotions that have come into play
Trusting God has brought fourth that special day
Igniting my spirit like a shooting dart
Seeking to find a loving heart
That captures loves spark
Leaping through all the top charts
Finding a woman who is ready to depart
One that is beautiful, cunning and smart
Real cutie that is full of internal beauty
Who is proud of her outstanding booty
Woman whose love is on full duty
She is done eluding the past
Someone who lives in the moment having a blast
Who is ready for true love that will surpass
Creating everlasting feelings that will surly last
When all the parts of my heart are unmast
Revealing an amazing sweetheart
Who wants forever love from the very start
