My Wish

If I had one wish?
I would ask for a day
To say to my Dad, all I didn’t get to say
Everything on my mind
In every possible way

If I had one wish?
I would dance to hearts content
My emotions would not be bent
Because my father would be here.

If only one day I could rent…

If I had one wish?
I’d wish all time away
Without that record, we’d have longer days
Untracked time with loved ones
And just enjoy all life’s display

I would wish away Eve
And her eating from that tree
So that we all could live forever
In God’s kingdom, happy and care-free

I would illegalize “goodbye”
Then it would never be in existence
Our loved ones couldn’t die
And we could find other reasons to cry

Oh
I have to pick just one you say…
Well I’ll condense them all together…

……..
If I had one wish?
I guess,
Eternal life’s the card I’d play

Sheriff Pinnochio

Based on a Danny Nunn poem on Poetry Soup.." High Sheriff".

I had a dream last night maybe some reality
That I was in a lawsuit, forced to be my own lawyer
Purgury was the language of the day, the truth was seldom spoken
The wolves were at my door, I was in enemy territory
I knew the truth but I was no lawyer
They could do no wrong and laws were broken

The Judge had been bought off with drug money, sheriff as well
The "Mafioso" was pretty much in control
They have the money to buy he best, they go for the top
For a honest person, it can be a living Hell'
When he courthouse, law enforcement and the Devil has their soul
Satan smiles on a dirty cop

In my first cross examination I called the High Sheriff
"Sheriff this will be short, but take a deep seat"
"Anything wrong with that chair, you squirm a lot for a innocent man"
"Are you responsible for getting criminals and contraband"
"You are sweating a lot, summer time it maybe the heat"
"Yes Sir, just answer the question as truthfully as you can"

"I don't have to answer your questions, you are not a lawyer"
"Yes I know just here in search of justice"
"Is it true that cocaine will make a person lie"
"Seems to be a lot of that nasty stuff on the Mexican border"
"I don't have to put up with your crap and hocus pocus"
"Sir is your nose bothering you and i wonder why:

"At this time would you submit to a drug test"
"And why not, are you above the law"
"You are rubbing it a lot, I mean your nose"
"Isn't it true, in Texas that say that you are the best"
"But in reality, you are just an old outlaw"
Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury Look at Sheriff Pinnochio's nose"

FOOD COURT

She isn’t beautiful
No knockout
Maybe it’s the surroundings
She is surrounded by –
Age
Business freaks
Overweight teens in ragged jeans
On the other hand
Exotica is well dressed
White blouse
Black skirt
Heels which soften rather large calves
And her hair is long black
with those Aniston strands across one eye
           lots of mascara
I’m trying to pinpoint the impression
                                             the obsession
Yes!
She’s aware of her superior dress
Face mostly hidden behind –
what else – an Apple laptop
From time to time her full features appear
She’s glancing (hopefully) around the Apple
Pencil brows
High forehead
Full cheeks
Full lips that somehow
       seem misplaced
Full describes the package
Yet?
I fantasize
Something about her eyes……..
What is it? (they look up at you, her head on a large
                       white pillow)
She smiles (something on the computer?)
And the whole face blends kind of
I’m just beginning to sense disturbance……..
When!
Wouldn’t you know it!
HE sits down
Facing her
Bald nicely trimmed thatch around both ears
I’d say 55
Nice Hawaiian sport shirt
Almost makes him look 54
Brief case….(belt-overhanging paunch)
BUMMER!
They deserve each other!

The Code , Coma

The Code , Coma

24 Days
24 Hours
24 Minutes
And
24 Seconds
Of time have elapsed
Yet according to watch , no time seems to have passed
Since I looked at my wrist last
If I am not delirious the sun has changed places
This diamond has only 2 not 3 bases
Set upon a bed of 22 faces
21 Dream's , 20 Scream's , 19 Various Themes
18 Answers , 17 Dancers , 16 Chances
Try counting to 15 without using 14
13 a charm and if 12 is doubled
It amounts to 24 , As I eluded to before
That's how long the Doctors tell me the coma lasted 4
24 Days
24 Hours
24 Minutes
And
24 Seconds
It appears in reality have passed
Since I looked upon my wrist last

Toxins

In my mind where they exist
See the trees amidst the forest
Speckled dust tossed at risk
Somewhat salted my recompense
Every time I eat or drink

Ephemeral ghosts when they appear
Crooked hand out of nowhere
Throws the dust in nourishment
Training me to then accept
Every time I eat or drink

Never dare to leave alone
Liquid, cup or glass
Upon a brief vacation home
Add to the reduvid morass
Every time I eat or drink

Through the doors they come
Although they are locked
Breaching an electric alarm
They turn the power off
Every time I eat or drink

Hiding in a closet
Or underneath the bed
Gaunt skeletons or midgets
Run while I am being fed
Every time I eat or drink

At a restaurant they come
While fixed and entranced
Leering sardonic heads peep up
Before I give the menu back
Every time I eat or drink

After we have left the house
They enter from next store
Neighbors aid and then abet
Powders potions and more
Every time I eat or drink

In the early morning while sleep still pervades
There comes another injection
From a ghost invisible to persuade
To combat fear, force or infection
Early when I awaken

Hopefully someday it will end
Without a gasp or scream
Admitted to a sepulcher
In an everlasting dream
When I eat or drink or sleep

Marking Up Time

WHAT IS THE TIME? I AM LATE I THINK

MAYBE I WILL HAVE TIME FOR A DRINK

NOTHING TO RUSH FOR NOT TODAY

TODAY IS THE DAY I AM GOING AWAY

WHERE AM I GOING? WELL I DON’T REALLY KNOW

I AM SURE I WILL REMEMBER BEFORE I GO

I HAVE PACKED MY CASE AND HAVE MY CAR

I WILL BE DRIVING AWAY SOON QUITE FAR

I AM MARKING UP TIME SO I MUST GET ON

I WILL BE BACK BEFORE I KNOW I HAVE GONE

DREAMING OF THE SEA SO BLUE AND GREY

ITS NEARLY TIME FOR ME TO GO AWAY

I THOUGHT I WAS GOING ON MY JOURNEY SOON

BUT I WAS WRONG IT’S IN AUGUST NOT JUNE

SORRY TO SAY THAT IT ISN’T JUST NOW

I HAVE MY DATES ALL MIXED UP SOMEHOW

SO I AM MARKING UP TIME UNTIL THAT DATE

BUT UNTIL THEN I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT

MARKING UP TIME I AM LOSING THE PLOT

OH WHAT A MEMORY I HAVE GOT

Who Is. On First

NineTs and One step were defined by the Law as they saw it,
As to remain hidden to knowledge, subliminal in the open, they showed it.
Jumping circles to square, they leveled the air by building great pyramids there.
Precise as a marksman dare, the best Mason were sent with care, and...

"Finding four were already here, we studied them, using paper and pen when we came.
Their crooked time stood and we observed it then. We made a notice of Ten.

Your time was slow and so, we colored the rain and started a flow.
You'll remember then a Time when the Vision was Write. Maya called to a Monk,
"Come and knoW a new Light...."

On a Mountain side where worlds float by, there's a golden shine from a Sun once known.
Catch a cloud and ride it to a Rainbow. Come a rise of color, we have yet to behold.

Brave Men of Ole'

Torn !

We encounter many obstacles/
I'm not crazy,
I'm just not you !
There is the High Queen/
Who often stands aloof !
To her unbelievable wishes.,

Who so often dines on a delicious cuisine,

Richly content on their new ideals,
Suddenly an opened door !
A given way of escape from the actual norm ?
Brave Men of Ole'

Rejoiced to tell !

A splendor in the grass;
Hence, to burn in Hell !
The castle had a big celebration/
A quite good story to tell !

With many decorations far too many to count ?

The number of various corpses that were their/
Far too many to count !
That solution was still enveloped inside/
That Court Jester had no place in which to hide !

Behind the hidden garb of false compromise/
Now does all of this come at a big surprise ?
Just ask all of those children lingering in the swamp/
Never again will I be so overly kind/
To one Court Jester that almost robbed me blind !

By it's shallow creek,

Their often lies a frog ?
Frozen in time from the rudimentary sentiments of it's past ?
A noble jeer of an abandoned but happy cheer !
That castle is in the outset of Friar Tuck's Square/

Lay barren amidst the golden jug,
A place of refreshment to dine !
Like some snake unleashed in the woods/
Made Mariam would often prance/
About with a lattice fashionable decor,
Stretched forth out upon the palace !
A Court Jester slammed his mallet !
This in effect woke up half of the palace !

An honest hobbit who had one leg pranced about with an abandoned frolic !

Throughout the hidden ambiance to silence the given moment/
Hence, it's gravitational pull may take many down/
A given time well spent in thought ?
In willing to unleash that great power among the Jesture !
Now the wheel is turned/
To ponder it's page being turned,
An inner impulse to change the way we are/
From the inside out !
Many are still said to be born under a bad sign ?

The Time Traveler

She woke this morning to the bird's celebratory song.
A smile on her face, for their love could never be wrong.
She wondered where he was this time, and if he would be long,
She fixed her morning cup of coffee, and sat in deep thought.
Wrong this can not be, but is their love all for naught?

Yesterday in Salem, the year 1692 he helped right a wrong,
Today only knows where he lingers, somewhere in time long gone.
He cried when the Great Library of Alexandria burned,
There in 48 B.C. only as an observer as Caesar was spurned.
Always in the shadows when mighty kings were interned.

A stranger when they met, harboring a secret so dark.
Unable to share the horrors he had witnessed his life so stark.
Time spent together, sharing laughter and tears
Soon Blossomed to something so dear.
Stolen moments in time, when he was able to put aside his fears.

She doesn't understand his need to jump, Nor the call that beckons.
But she accepts this man, and abides with few questions
The calls from the past haunt his every waking moment.
There are always consequences and others that sit in judgment.
She prays one day the calls will end and he will stay with her in the present.

Each time he jumps she wonders if he will return to her.
Time spent away from him becomes each time harder.
Hoping he doesn't get lost in time and unable to find his way.
She prays for his safe return each and everyday.
As she struggles to keep her questions and fears at bay.

She stands, a little ungainly on her feet. Eight months pregnant
Swollen with a new life. Soon she will join them, this tiny infant.
Will she be like him, a traveler, called away as he?
She wraps her arms around her belly so gently.
And accepts this gift from her husband so humbly.

Real Or Not

I don't know if your real or not

But my attention you have got

Today there really isn't much to do

I start the bike and think about you

There is no way to call

Or even contact you at all

So I ride down the street

Still hoping that some time we will meet

Through out those word there's nothing to sort

As always the ball is in your court

In the chase I am really no good

To rush is something that we never should

It's a waste of time some would say

But you did calm me on those needed days

I know your shy and have some fear

Yet from you I'd still hope to hear

With nothing more that I can do

It's all completely up to you

Then again it could be no big deal

I am not even sure if you are real

Or in the end will I be surprised

And find you as the wolf in disguise

No matter how it should end

If your real you have a friend!

Sleep Tight

What, the hell was that?
I,I can't see, is anybody out there? what!
What did you say? man! what the hell's going on here?
Whoa!! hey! did i just see that? no way!
What time is it? time! there's no time here.
Do you know me? bars! we all know each other!
More bars, no walls! whats your name? you know!
Oh, my god! no! you can't do that! no, wait, stop!
Oh damn! you killed him. what the hell is this place?
No, please don't! stop! put it down! my leg,!
Wait it's not bleeding. is, is this a dream?
What's that? it's a skull, but who's? it can't be,
My god it's mine! but i'm not dead.
Where the hell are we? we, who's we?
Oh, no not again! more bars, now keys, but no doors!
I don't remember sleep, i must be sleeping.
What's that? a light, it's a long way down.
I can feel the blood, and smell the death.
No bars, just a key, their bones, and no lock.
It's bright, it's loud, it's death!
No face, no name, no past, time gone,
So dead, it's done, so long!!

Halloween

Trick or Treat
Lock those doors
Because I'm here for more
If you don't
I won't care
Since I'll cut you everywhere

Trick or Treat
Unlock that door
Because I'm going next door
Please don't run
It's no fun
But soon you'll feel my blade

Trick or Treat
You can't hide from me
I can see you clearly
Don't run away from me
Or else you'll regret it

Trick or Treat
That was fun
But now it's time to clean up
I hear that sound
Oh no
It's time to run

Monarchscry

MonarchS.cry as the butterfly came and sat by me
Beautiful color on delicate wings sang with a song to be
Whales swam and sent a voice, in waters came the call of choice
Windy shores holding sandy feet, a pulsing river drums a knowing beat
... and I stood, listening in a silent mode, watching waves that wrote of love
listening in a silent mode, making sure as to what I’ve heard, testing true in other words and
cords, games and scores of boards we played. Learned the lessons of what was made in a day,
before and before they came. Looking for the hear of a time unknown and seeing symbols that
are showing what’s shown.
.
Equal flux in.visible knock as I write the log of a time in clock, when fear is near but they came
in pair. Couple of a couplings dared to care. Twins are knowing to see as I do, thinkings showing
that we’re knowing too… the score is balanced and a time is past, peace over anger and it’s here
to last. Choice is the voice that voiced a choice to be in peace through eternity and so was
granted way and right, seconds count when in second flight.
.

Twilight

My favorite time of day is here,

It’s a time of magic and romance;

A time when worries disappear,

The perfect time for you to dance;

The only time I can see clear,

Give everything more than a glance;

Though it lasts only minutes, it feels like a year;

Standing there like I’m in a trance;

It’s a time to just stop and truly hear,

Take in everything’s expanse;

That is why I hold Twilight dear,

It’s the perfect time for romance.

~My theme is taken from Constance's Poem Twilight~

Eyes of Stone...

"Time past and past forgotten
Seasons changed for the wanting
Then looking over the Mountain
I saw you..."

Traces in the lines of a face
Carved in stone to mark the place
Left in Time is a sacred space
To be found in Rhyme.

Yesterday I went to there and
Saw the eyes of an Elder's dare
Drawn in rock with Chaac and care
Were the echoes of a Time we hear.

Old with dust and yellow the glow
Where desert sands were once the snow
And water spoke the secrets shown...

I saw faces in the eyes of stone.
