A Free Verse

I came to faith at forty-eight, a mid-life crisis within my mind, step-by-step a staircase I climbed, 'til I keft my old life behind; Off the fence I slithered down, upon my brow, doubt bears no frown, each question answered, verified, no blind faith this, with no place to hide; Reasoned, studied and empirical a life-style relevant and opical, by revelation, face to face, I stand here still, saved by grace. The proof of election,is mine In Christ too,it can be thine.

Awesome poem. The first I have read of yours. I am a saved man as well. I love poetry. I always have. Though you must have a gift. To have supplied basically 3000 works of art in the human tongue. Very Impressive. From the U.K. - too - you honour your people. Whether they know it or not. Awesome. I am Canadian myself, my family came to Canada back in the late 1860's as Canada was becoming a Nation from the U.K. The Union Jack will always be my Country's (Canada's) Flag in my Eyes. God bless you!
