Wooded Destinies
The sun-bleached exoskeletons
of old dead trees stand like sentries
along the towpath riverfront
exfoliated and gangling.
In a former age they stood tall,
grandiose to all passerby’s
but they too are dead to recall
their once impressive colossi.
Eventually these remains
will meet their final destinies:
to fall-never to rise again-
among forgotten progenies;
yet...

Beware the Man In the Mask
The mask, with eyes brighter than the most brilliant star,
Reflecting the sunshine & blue Ocean beyond, his eyes twinkle
He smiles, I am dazzled, hypnotised...almost
Powerless I am drawn to him, he is the strongest magnet
I am under a spell of the highest...

Road To Damascus
ROAD TO DAMASCUS

Granite faith exfoliated by superguns and sanctions whirls,
on this earth succumbing into dry spell of peace,
War-crats and confidantes skinning freedom from its people
Kofi drinking coffee with revolutionaries and revolutionaries in
Aleppo cafe on his way to Damascus

Daughters eating NGOs, GMOs, condoms and twitter
Bullet...

Exfoliation I Am
EXFOLIATION, I AM

In my advanced age am I but
       The castoff--remnants
Of a vitality that once was and has been pushed aside?
      Am I only...

He likes hot Hoxton coffee with his cold Shepherd’s Pie
Crazy for a Sheffield lass, a Steel City shrew
Her conversation’s retro but her attitude is new.

Comes Information Irene with her ever ready...

Premium Member Sahara Moon
The Sahara's flaring moon
weaves sand castles in hombre dusk,
jacquard ridges unraveling down burlap slopes.

Under taupe sky a balmy loom
spins dust into tawny gold for a sultan sun,
eroding an oasis to sate his rapture
with effete wealth tatted in the shadows
cast by white peacock clouds
floating above...

The Great Charade
It happens to be that we all perceive
in a grand allegiance never brought into question
as though the clocks have been frozen
giving us all tock subtracted from tick
and Change the poster child has a gun to its head
in the hand of an empty headed juvenile
a caricature...

The suns eye is falling, ash from the ground drowns the trees
In a sea of dark grey and exfoliated black leaves Falling…

Apocalypse Ii
Night was drowsy and opiated,
Hollow moon suspended,exfoliated
Over the spiraled staircases,
Blood drips chaotic from anemic faces.
I can hear the dismal cacophony..
Girls, gaunt cheeks, bones scrawny
wobbling in perpetual hysteria,
Clock of apocalypse ticks, Mamma mia!

Life is a kaleidoscope made
By a magician and it is said
That he knows...

Soul exfoliated floats borderless

When I Bleed Out In Front Of You

I’m in love with the lighting that shoots and grazes my neighbor's balcony as I sit in front of my own, just by looking or glancing...
