If you can work, or go to school.
You will be allowed to. If not
how can you discover a non
spam or get rich scheme.
Promising to solve all of your
financial problems. "You can
earn $10,00 working from home."
I hung up my cell phone two
times.

Mary C. and I wanted to call
our mutual friend, Starshadow.
Who has self quarantined. But
on three occasions the robot
interrupted my personal my
Cricket cell phone. Because I
did not respond. They promised
to call me back within 42 or 48
hours. I will vote by disconnecting
the scam call.

Success at last! I was able to
call her and Mary dropped
off the sack lunch. Courtesy
of a Seventh Day Adventist
Church. Using the Central
Lutheran church's property.

The people did not know if
they would be back there
two weeks from last Sunday.

My friend Mary C and I will
not be attending any more
community meals in the
cities of Everett and Snohomish.

King and Snohomish Counties
are two of the most impacted
counties in the Evergreen State
of Washington.

Since all of the parks have been
shut down in Snohomish County
Washington. And mayor Cassie
Franklin has ordered Everett under
a lock down. President Donald
Trump is calling out the National
Guard for the State of Washington.

The State of Colorado has dispatched
300 doctors, nurses. and medical
assistants to the State of Washington.
And they have already arrived,
and are working.

The States of California, New York,
and I believe Illinois will also
have National Guards present
in their states as well.

Stay at home, stay safe.
Say your prayers, read your
Bibles and home devotionals
Attend your church's on-line
services if possible.
Air out your dwelling places,
if at all possible.

Troll

"Troll"

The silent
incessant chatter
thick black ooze

jeers and laughter
jolt lightening barbs
slicing a heart in two

the dark undercurrent
pulls a light soul under
while writing life striving revolutionary new

troll smirks suffocating the sands of true
a new tyrannical rule eviscerates
the mind bleeds red

punched backwards
into murky clouds of deadly
midnight black and blue

dead

Her innocence in daisy plaits ,displayed
Such naievty was so soon betrayed,
Touching romance' nettle brought much pain
When discarded,by his disdain,
Tears welled upon her pillow,
Forsaken love long wears the willow-
A broken heart,no words could save,
Death's red poppy,petals her grave.

Golden House On the Hill

The Autumn sun shone with golden magic
The warmth of the embrace was seen from afar
As I stood along the fence in the valley below

Inside the house are tales akin to tragic
A son had volunteered, never returned from war
The brother, when burgled, lost a limb & elbow

The mother took a job in the town's law practice
Came home too tired, to enjoy bird or flower
Tend her husband, then disabled son in back bungalow

This is the story of every house, of Al & Beatrice
Clark & Diane, Everett & Flo, by year, month, hour!
The house glowing under God's sun, hides tales of woe

Premium Member The Coronavirus Covid-19 Part Two

The Snohomish County Health District is using the Angel of the Winds Casino's Everett arena. In order to treat victims of COVID-19. Whereas in Seattle 300 Army medical core medical professions are being utilized to treat patients not being effected by the Coronavirus. In Kent and Issaquah motels are being used to intern people affected by it. They are being monitored by the police. Yet in Kent, a homeless man broke lose and robbed a local convenience store.

The Army medical core is using the Seattle's CenturyLink Event Center and field. Treating non victims of COVID-19. Field hospitals are being established nationally and world wide. Treating this contemporary angel of death.

In Yakima twelve to thirteen inmates broke lose because their facility was being impacted by COVID-19. In several of the most impacted states, such as New York. The National Guard has been called out to render assistance. As of yesterday, thirty three of the fifty states have been effected by it.

There have been non essential business in Washington State. Ignoring Governor Jay Inslee's order to close down. First they will be warned, and finally they could lose their business licenses. For continued noncompliance.

President Donald Trump and Congress approved a stimulus package for our nation. Checks should be arriving direct deposit by the IRS in about two to three weeks. His stay at home order has been extended to April 30th.

Online schools are becoming the new normal for students. Even students without home computers can use their teacher's lesson plans. And in some areas home computers are being delivered to k-12 students.

We should watch, wait and pray for the COVID-19 to pass over us. By vanishing into thin air.

Le Problème avec des Blancs – Translation of Jim Everett’s « The White Man Problem » by T. Wignesan

(Jim Everett, Mawbana Pleregannana, b. 1942 on Flinders Island, Tasmania, has had a chequered career and like almost all the aboriginal poets and writers in English of the first post-WWII generation, hardly made it over the primary school curricula. He’s a poet, playwright and essayist (short articles). Among the jobs he tried his hand at : telegram boy, factory hand, fisherman, merchant seaman, rigger, truck driver, public servant, aboriginal community worker and political activist. He was the national secretary of the National Aboriginal and Islander Writers Oral Literature and Dramatists Association.) T. Wignesan, Paris, December 15, 2016

Premium Member What Ever Happened

What ever happened to people, who really cared
about the poor and needy in my beloved country?
The current Presidental The administration would like us
to go away. Why not pray God will have the final say!

Yes, rising stock market is good news.
But what about the poor people
trying to make it month after month.
Rising rents are higher than most
people's incomes. Where is all of their
extra money supposed to come from

When a franchise owner of a local Denny;s
on Evergreen Way, in Everett Washington,
had to close down his restaurant.

Why, because the greedy landlord
raised the rent much higher than
he needed to. It was located
not in the high rent district of Everett.
When is enough really enough!

A President of the United States of
America only cares about the wealthy.
And really wants to forget about
the rest of us.

Cutting Social Security,
Medicaid and Medicare.
While lining the pockets
of his wealthy friends.
What a terrible trend
this country is headed in!

The people of Saint Louis
are facing severe wage cuts.
When is enough, enough?

The current administration does not
really care whether care or not
his people breathe fresh air.
Having pure water to drink,
or fresh and healthy food to eat.

He does not care if the poor
and the homeless line
city streets. Does he really
care? President Donald
Trump maybe would say,
"If they don't have any
food to eat, let them eat cake!"

Yes our nation's infer structure
does badly need repair.
He cares about repairing bridges,
and free ways. Maybe he
even cares if the workers
get paid!

Premium Member Bloom Where You Are Planted

Once I told a married Baptist missionary, I wanted to be one. Carol said, "Roxanne, Everett needs missionaries too." She meant I should bloom where I was planted. But we both were much younger then.

Transport myself into the 21st century. I am no longer a Baptist, but am a Lutheran. I am no longer middle aged, I am sixty-five years young. And I try my humble best. In spreading the good news of the gospel on the internet. Reaching more people than I ever reached before.

And I am no alone. Many poets and Biblically commentators are much better informed. Not to mention more talented than I ever will become. What we have in common? Our mutual love and respect for Jesus Christ. We are all part of the body of Christ. We are a part of his established church. We belong to him. He is the bride groom and we are his bride.

We need to bloom where we are planted. In many parts throughout the known world. The good news of the gospel is prohibited and restrictive. Many modern day disciples pay the ultimate price. Sacrificing both their freedoms and also their very lives. They have obtained a wonderful heavenly reception and rewards at the Beama seat of Christ. They will be reaping what they sowed.

There is an opened door for spreading the good currently available in the United States. I am composing this while there are no real restrictions.
I visited a Christian web site. I tried to post a bible verse on Facebook.
It was not allowed because some people might find it objectional. And they feel they have both the privileges' and the rights to restrict religious speech.
In the good old United States! I dearly love and pray for my beloved homeland.

Love in Christ Jesus!

Premium Member Happy Holiday -- Happy Memorial Day

Mister Everett Wheeler Cartwright came from Burlington Vermont
All the way to Massachusetts---quite a healthy jaunt

Didn't really understand the cause the Union fought so hard for
Freedom from King George of England---far beyond his ken, and

Dying from an errant bullet, no one said to Everett Wheeler
Cartwright, "Happy Holiday!"---at his untimely end.

                                        ********

Eldridge Porter Hampton hailed from Cotton Valley Louisiana
Had no money, had no slaves, but loved his hoe and banjo

Never heard of Douglas, never heard of Lincoln; couldn't read or
write much, nothin' but his name. Yet Eldridge Porter came a runnin'

East to serve: For Johnny Rebel's legend gave him courage, gave him nerve to
face the soldier'd took his life---No 'Happy Holiday' for his wife.

                                       ********

Now the deaths are all forgotten; now the mem'ries fade away
Solders fighting wars today: mocked, reviled, e'en betrayed

"Happy Holiday" to one and all: "Memorial Weekend Super Sales"
Picnics, outings, lakeshore (or) beachside---Beer and Wine and Ale

Far removed from battles, far removed from war's numb pain
One more US Holiday---demeaned o'er tear-stained plains.

Movie Review

O Brother Where Art Thou?

Delectable nostalgic film:

Toe tapping “can” song
I am a Man song

Journey without seeking the treasure
Cows can’t swim, roofs measure

Little people push brooms
Fiancés deck grooms

Politicians run out on a rail
Some dance, with their tail

Baby face throws Bi-polar
Getaway car-high roller

Sirens sing then whisk away
Leaving toads behind that day

Blind rail traveler foretells all
But the rail car scene, Oh man- that fall!

“Kin is kin”- “gopher Everett”?
“Dapper Dan man”, with a hair net

Some scenes I’d cut
Not necessary they put

But otherwise a great dime
About three men “not” doing time

I’ve seen it about 4 times, still singing the songs

Premium Member 350 Degrees

Concerned Christian environmentalists truthfully believe God created the life forms inside the oceans, lakes and seas. He left mankind a legacy, he was suppose to be responsible for these marine life species. It is of utmost importance people listen to dedicated groups such as 350 Degrees.

Other countries and other municipalities. have either banned or restricted plastic shopping bags. But restriction and banning in the United States is accomplished by mainly municipalities. It is my prayer that the City of Everett joins them. I phoned Olympia's legislative hotline 1-800-562-6000. And left them this message banning those plastic bags city by city takes much too long.

Where did most of our plastic garbage end up? In other nations of the world, and they have had enough! They believe we created it and should be held responsible for its clean up. Those bags are non-biodegradable and are potentially harmful. They are rapidly filling up our over crowed landfills.

Haven't we had enough of turning our oceans, lakes and seas into human plastic garbage dumps? Because of human wanton carelessness, soon this planet will become inhabitable for even us. How many marine sea life must die? How many fish, and clams and other food sources of man, live on plastic?

People are becoming concerned about recycling of plastic. It is only possible if the products recycling labels have numbers one or two. Products can only be recycled once! You do not have to believe me, but you need to listen to 350 Degrees.

Our polluted oceans are rapidly becoming warmer leading to increased hurricanes, floods and tornadoes. Natural and man made disasters are occurring with more frequency and intensities. Covering a wide disaster range, and displacing its victims. Those people are facing their problems by faith in Jesus Christ. Neighbors and churches are helping each other!

A Black Forest

A black forest full of ash ,

the sky echo's and leaves a path of light just enough to make you hope there might be a way
out ,

so you search , and you find no water , no color, no warmth,

as you walk every thing becomes colder and darker and you ask me to take your hand , but
I know as the clouds turn in, so will your promises ... into lies.

what a demise.... I am the rock... you are but mere sand... you are black and white...

I am a garden you do not tend... You promise life... you promise velvet cakes lined with lace
and orchestras and touching souls melted like wax candles ....

and I remember as you look back at me and your eyes they gleam in my reflection and they
turn black and your hands they are cold... and the forest draws close and I realize now that
I am all alone... It was never you in my arms, it was always a picture I had, that I hold...
hold dear... and I cry... and I lay here in my dress ... and my pretty hair ... sick dressing
up for you... and the sun no longer shines... and you no longer lie.. and you say .. you don't
love me , and fine.. I don't love you....

And I lie here in the snow.... and the blood drips on the floor... and I let you go ... I have to
rip you from me like a disease... and I scream ... to let me go.. why don't you leave me
alone... and I changed my phone... There is no more sanity.....

Premium Member We Need To Speak For Those Who Have No Voice

John F Kennedy said this about the people of East Berlin, "the people of East Berlin are voting with their feet." Hence the land of "eloquent silence." Where people were so afraid of being turned into the state police. They were afraid to speak their minds in a socialistic form of government. For the fear of being turned over for questioning and integration by the communist security police.

In spite of what happened during the Vietnam generation. And in spite of what has been happening in Hong Kong and in Valenzuela young American people are favoring a socialist government. They are censoring freedom of expression as hate speech. Which includes any person who disagrees with you. Yes, racist speech is hate speech! And so is censoring freedom of expression by the term political correctness! Political correctness violates free speech!

Remember the days when it was not politically correct in the United States of America to wish people a Merry Christmas? Cities and town were prohibited from Christmas decorations. Especially if they were religious in nature! They even wanted to ban people from displaying Christmas religious decorations on their lawns. People used terms such as happy holidays and season's greetings and they still do today. Which is fine by me!

When I was younger, Winter break was called Christmas Vacation. And spring break was called Easter Vacation. That changed even when I was enrolled in the public school system. I was either in high school or junior high. When it first took effect. Choirs and bands could not sing religious songs.

The ten commandment and religious monuments were being torn down
by people, who wanted freedom from religion. Cites such as Everett Washington had to fight to keep our ten commandments. By designating it as an historical landmark.

People have the basic right not to believe in God if they want to! That's what freedom of religion is all about. People have the right to believe in God if they want to. People have the right to disagree, and I would like to keep it that way!

Deep in a forest a river flows
and there floats Ophelia, in death-
There is a deep silence, a hush and beauty in the landscape,
deep green water grass and drifting jade moss
so soft and delicate like satin it seems-
The water is dark and deep and sinister
yet the scene is one of peace-
Foliage lush and overgrown hangs over the river
and an old tree leans into the water
and growing everywhere are yellow buttercups
             purple nettle and white daisies-
Ophelia holds a bouquet in one hand
the other she holds up where once flowers she held
the colorful blooms represent beauty and immortality-
Her rich brocade dress is sodden and heavy now
and her beautiful face sees only heaven-
Oh, my painters hand wants to continue
to paint the beautiful decaying and ever blooming forest
oh, over here more ferns . . .
more red poppies.. some purple, some white
             more, more, more-
My hand is an extension of my mind, I have lost control,
time is nothing, time is suspended and I paint . . .
and my pseudo shall be Beauty-
