Best Empting Poems

Premium Member Bright Beautiful Red

Big ripe Mcintosh apples found lying on the ground
Release sweet juiciness when their finders take a bite.
Ibises of scarlet stand elsewhere in the world without a sound
Gathered underneath a crimson sky awaiting night.
Hovering near bushes bursting ever rosily
Twin monarchs flutter; cardinals sit on a red-flamed tree.

Barns decorate the countryside always painted so
Easily to view in their typical bright red hue.
A patch of strawberries grows in summer row by row by row.
Utter deliciousness resides in raspberries grown there too.
Tempting are the garden's tomatoes, more treats colored red!
Inside an orchard, carrying a pail which holds small fruit
From a cherry tree, treads a freckled lad, hair like fire on his head.
Underneath a canopy of leaves, robin redbreast sings a tribute,
Lifting notes mellifluously in praise of nature’s grace.

Robust as chili peppers' flavor; radiant as a ruby gem,
Everywhere we see the passion in this color we embrace.
Delightful and dynamic too is this color most worthy of a poem!

THE MEADOW

Spread
Neath umbilical sky
On nutrient Earth
She stands alone this noon

Surrounding woods
Mountains
Distant structures
Seem to encase the lush green plot
Have taken on a sunny sheen

Then there is this peaceful babbling brook
                                                 running through
                                 sparkling
                                             wetly whispering

GOD!
What an ecstatic vision!

But wait!

Come
Lie down on fairy moment’s colorful hay
Smell the wild flowers
Hum a happy tune
Then         Listen!

Oh!
Below!

A wild bacchanal defames all empyrean image

Slither-slide –
Bunnies    mice POP!
Bees      dragonflies
Winged squadrons buzzing BANZAI!

A billion glassy eyes of every size
Looking for kill
Or pre-empting demise
Shiny black bugs on nature’s green rug

                   Distant

The sound a staccato wheeze
A high    wire din
Like one hundred tortured violins

Then rise
Return to that simpler view
Smile in wonder
That nothing in nature is static
And wonder what’s going on inside of you?

Surfside stand a lady & man
lost in (a moment) on silca lands
so stand this even (handed two)
before a sky limpid blue
with a hearts glow to melt the burning sand.

ps_jt7689.jpg

Love limned laughter, (lines out) sweet promised sign,
satin billows of cloud surround divine,
backdrop sky a blue silk screen
young as fun forever keen
pre-empting fate this faultless time.

Pouring waves and passion combine
light moods, effervescent (platinum fine)
flows a presence vivid and wild,
flaming love; (destiny's child,)
raptured revolving evolving in time.

Letting Go-Three Form Style

Lacing his fingers together with mine
Easing down gently into his arms on cloud nine
Trailing the scent of his presence
Tempting memories to stay forever quintessence
In the mind, heart and soul never letting go
Nor be dampened by drizzles in the plateau
Gliding towards a life worth living

Gathering inner strength for moments worth reliving
Opening doors to move forward through forgiving

                                Words unspoken lay heavy in the heart
                                     A reminder to the soul, "Be brave"
                                   When world events try to tear us apart
                             We should go with the flow, surf the sound wave

                                                Let nature moves you
                                                when apathy settles in
                                                unwinding is bliss

Darjeeling Tea

Storm is brewing outside,
lightening striking the ground
with burning white fingers.
Demanding attention with crackling
thunder sound.

While inside past the rain stained
window panes is brewing a
pot of Darjeeling tea.
Soothing is the golden liquid
as it warms me from this
dreary lonesome storm day.

Clouds empting their tears in
the streams of rain droplets.
Reminds me of the snippets
of memories of you.
Sipping alone this cup of
Darjeeling tea missing the one
I call darling and a single tear
splashes into the liquid brew.

Echoes a silent thunder within
my soul.

As a Lamb

As a lamb going for rather cutting,
She was dragging him with a chain,
Bitter than a gall and deeply suffering,
His soul was lying in a groove pain.

He - being patient in silence and deeply sad,
She - with a yoke, comprising his empty soul,
He – accusing the pain in his body and head,

She – discovering that for him it was only a role.

But he didn` t want, his prejudice could not agree
To see the failure of his house as a loneliness` tree
And he couldn`t become again that young man free,
Though, with money, he couldn`t buy his soul serenity,
The dreams and the life from his heart eternity,

And… he couldn`t save… his freedom dignity.

As a lamb going for rather cutting than living,
He - day by day was feeling as a loneliness` being,
But his partner was not observing his heart empting,
Being blinded by possessions, fortune achieving,
And, selfish, with obstinacy, his life was dragging,

And finally…. he couldn`t live anymore without dreaming.

As some lambs going for only cutting,
So many ephemera couples live together,
A painful life and their feelings` fighting,
Though fate didn`t ask to be as one for ever.

But they have money, fortune and power – increasingly,
Lies, compromises, pains and sorrows - eternally.

Trick Poetry - Poem - Nature the Artist

NATURE THE ARTIST
A
Trick Poem
~~~~~~~~~~~
She's painted snowdrops in winter, peeking through late snow,
daffodils in early spring, dancing to gentle breezes,
tulips in the shining sun, beauty reaching for the sky,
gladioli in the summertime, the sunflower a witness to
buddleia and butterflies, drinking of much nectar,
and caterpillars on mint, feeding pre-empting nakedness,
the golden leaves of autumn, leaving much flora bare,
She paints all when she has time, naked until next spring.
Premium Member Filled
upon my emptiness I am filled
a gentle spirit soaring about
my manic mood swings
I cater to soft scents
hints of violet clusters covering
the ongoing greenery of untimeliness
I capture my melancholy madness gravely
lost unprepared for thee upcoming storm
of pure panic my breathing is subtle
my cries are calm chuckles hidden beyond
the sudden episode that releases unwanted
energies my mind needs for sheer survival
afterwards a coming melody heard far off
within my emotional state and my positive
mental attitude somehow arbitrated
quietly between personalities I fold myself
into a fetal position and weep so
empting my wretched soul
however filled with the holy spirit
