Introspection
I nner child looked back at me as I looked deep within
N everland of candied childhood wishes and dreams
T empting to just want to linger here
R elishing in that sweet taste disappointment has yet to sour
O h how time tempers some wants and desires
S ome sugar does remain in the sediment, however
P ossibility for dreams to be realized, still
E ventually too much sugar is not good for any one
C auses more than just enamel to rot
T akes a mix of sweet, bland, and salty to make a life
I t's a blend that enhances the spice of life
O verstayed my welcome again
N ight night Neverland, hello reality
