Best Elusiveness Poems

Premium Member Voiceless Eagerness

I'm that my words and pen can't express my weakness.
Nobody could have foreseen I felt such happiness.
My bald secret is now included in my poetic liveness.
I'm at a loss for words to define my soulfulness.

All that I do for you is for you and your uniqueness.
To be clear, you were born to bestow our joyfulness.
Had sent a blessing to us thanks to God's holiness.
Son, you depict nicely how a son may have lightness.

My duty will always be to offer you matchless.
If you're in the lamest rule, you deserve my promptness.
You lifted my artwork to an extreme level of skillfulness.
Everywhere I fit, you seem to follow me with firmness.

Regardless of where I am or how I manage my illness.
The ghost that lurks within me is a mystic elusiveness.
Of inspiration and creativity that is in my mind flawless.
It just takes one look to confer my focus and cleanliness.

Claim anything you envy, but don't leave me clueless.
Yet, I am aware of how grateful you are for my lavishness.
Even the urge to craft your own way has uniqueness.
With all my resources, knowledge, and awareness.

All have a role to play in preserving our rising family spotless.
Sway to the beat of my soul and embrace my closeness
Allow yourself to widen your eyes; your destiny will be harmless.
I drew the full moon for you to retain your greatness.

Without question, I admire you for your graciousness.
My son, I'll outline your disparity and avail your tactfulness.
I meant to say that you sparked my thoughtfulness.
Consider that I'm always aware of your level of attentiveness.

I can tell from our relationship around gleefulness.
Even if I die, you will have a piece of my warm-heartedness.

Premium Member Golden Leaves

I've always loved Aspen's leaves of gold
Even though winter's what they foretold.
And maples' gold among the crisp red,
once fallen make the lovliest bed.

The green was nice and furnished us shade.
Beneath it, young lovers' vows were made.
It matched the green-swept, rolling hills.
holding its own, without golden frills.

Poets say golden leaves never last.
Trees try to capture, but gold flees fast.
We catch its glint for a moment or two,
before fairies steal with morning's dew.

There's something special about the gold.
Perhaps elusiveness is its control.
Its story told with a painter's brush,
poet's thoughts adding finishing touch.

Monarchs

With trusting innocence we've played
with nets and jars amid a field
of muted rustling blooms that yield
Their subtle breaths of perfumed air
where milkweed monarch’s foraged there.
They were the prize and preference
of youth and trusting innocence.
Inexpertness with nets gave flight
elusiveness till next alight
on efflorescence’s afield
Sedulity kept our eyes peeled
on tawny-orange and black, large wings
in hopes we would be capturing
these lovely regal butterflies
with gauzy wings and very spry.

Lyrebird

I passed by Old Man Banksia, a wonderfully gnarled tree,
While trekking through the Jamison, a bushland pedigree,
I saw the broad leaf of the Geebung, with its yelow frill,
The distant sounds of Katoomba Falls with its water spill.

Suddenly excitement grew, new noise, a whipping sound,
Its shrilled call pierced the air, the unbelievable was found,
A lyrebird with all its beauty, elusiveness personified,
Stood before me tail flared,my mouth was open wide.

It was clawing in the leaf litter, with insects being found,
Its ornate, opaque tail swished on to the ground,
It hopped around in the mulch, paused then moved on,
I was waiting in anticipation for another whipping song.

My encounter was a brief one, for as soon as I got near,
It decided to fossick elsewhere without the risk of fear,
But I had seen this ancient animal with vocal chords unique,
The world's greatest mimic, its repertoire so complete.

Many Unexpected Surprises

I couldn't waste any more kisses
on another...not as deserving as you are,
your faithfulness was promised to me in a consecrated embrace.

Take away the passion emanated by desire,
and the thrill to feel loved and touched by warm hands...
won't arise as a brilliant colored sunrise we would watch and admire.

I won't trifle with your affections,
nothing can be insignificant...everything matters, love!
Have I ever treated you in a trifling manner in older days?

Elusiveness is the outcome of an unkept promise,
I have kept mine, and I expect you will keep yours indefinitely...
then strenghtened by mutual trust, who will ever come between us?

Who's more deserving than you when it comes to happiness?
Fidelity is a pledge of trust, and if love is valued as a priceless treasure...
all the wishes you are reluctant to whisper, can bring many unexpected surprises.

My Inner Person

My inner person desires and seeks
innovative words softer than roses,
lovelier than the skies of spring, louder that the voice of Moses...
then see me anxiously run when the cathedral's bell rings!

My inner person needs serenity more than a friend,
the peace that God created along with His infinite universe;
how blissful is the day coming to a peaceful end,
to admire the fireflies engaging in streaks of luminescence!

My inner person is not obliged in any way
to please others other than the One who is mindful of me;
doesn't obedience and trust in Him bring elation?
Many are too wretched and faithless to deserve His compassion!

My inner person is the robin's song which welcomes spring,
and we both are the early risers to discover a dazzling morning...
emerging from a sea where sunrays encroach upon its rippled waves,
as the gulls' shrills rent the stillness to subdue any unwanted elusiveness.

With Modesty I Grant Her

The mammoth task that my ambitions view,
Shall intercept with reason why I care
To change this woman from the god I knew
Becomes the pedestal, that none compare.

I see her shape and form delight the day,
My having known her finds I care this much
A complimentary distance can portray;
That this is not illusion hence the touch.

She signals that elusiveness as blessed,
That modesty before it, serves our souls
With everything that nature has to test
Provides us with problem solving goals.

Heaven lit when words from her were spoke,
Presenting us with merchandise to fill,
The universe, and that's where gods provoke
A strength that carries us, far well.., until.

And if I'm asked, "Do you believe in god?"
With shyness should I say, she is unknown,
But holds the 'Golden Sceptred," magic rod
Provided by this write, and godly throne.

Goddess

Fluently flowing from her beautiful head,
Are locks of perfection,
Stopping abruptly at her back.
Sloping steep with elegance,
Forms her neck,
Supporting her head like it holds the world.
Smooth silky plateaus are her shoulders,
The sturdy top table,
Balancing good and bad like a scale.
Her torso was that of sexy seduction,
Twisting and Turning, confusing my love,
Tight compactness driving me wild.
Hypnotic waves sent from her hips,
Curvacious winding roads of elusiveness,
Her worst is her best interchangeably,
Skin tone of ebony, caramel, and honey,
A GODDESS sitting on the pedestal of Heaven.

Premium Member To Justice With Love

TO JUSTICE WITH LOVE…

Your deceitful tease
and elusiveness
are beyond compare;
your blind promise
has yet proven
that you really care.

How long
must my soul
lowly hang
like strange fruit
dripping trails
of its fallen red juice
behind its every pursuit?

They say
only death rivals
your equanimity—
Fool I was—thinking
such also included me.

I’m taught
to always love
and seek you
everywhere; but
in all my loving
and searching,
I can’t find you
Anywhere.

For me, the warmth
of your sweet bosom
has never been there.
Yet, I shall not wander in vain
nor without a strong belief—that
from your aching judicial loins—
Unfailing faith will bring sweet relief.

Unclear

I had the chance to look into your eyes
In busy days, in busy nights
But all I know is uncertainty.
You got a smile that could mesmerize
You tell stories that are hard to believe
But all I know is touch and go!
You came around and looked at me
We told many jokes seriously
But all I know is elusiveness.
You could be holy and a bit naughty
Make things better or worse
But all I know is ambiguity.

The Treasure of Rhyme

With years of mind numbing digging
Persistence pays off with time
I would almost call it a living
This life long search for the treasure of rhyme

Harder to track than the abominable snowman
Slippery than that monster in Loch Ness
More cunning than Jack the Ripper trailing a stripper
Is the hidden rhymes elusiveness

I've been from one end of the lobe to the other
In the deep dark recesses of the mind
Hoping to finally discover
Where it has hidden the pockets of rhyme

When I discover it I'll come back victorious
I will then share with poetry my find
The words that I use will be various
As I open to all the treasure of rhyme

Elusiveness of Love

What is this most elusive dream
Forever within my grasp,
Yet too illusive to see.
Whenever I persue it, it runs away
But when I end the chase,
It chases after me.

Why is it such a mystery.
Just when I think I know the answer,
Another clue appears.
My God it's hard to face the fact
That I've been so wrong, by being so right
For oh so many years.

When will love shine its light on me?
I have't grown too cold
To be warmed by its glow.
Will it hide from me forever
I might find out tomorrow, but then again
Perhaps I'll never know.

Premium Member Seeking Black

I found myself wanting to be angry and vile,
seeking black, looking hard for him
in all the dark places, lingering a while.
Black has his own ways, unknown to mortals-
slinking out and in mysterious portals.
time be traveling, perching on a gloomy rim.

He is illusive and not easy to find.
Hidden from me in recesses I cannot follow
Black outshone me, reading my unsophisticated mind.
He was the victor, reaping the spoils of war.
Knowing my truth he understood I could soar.
His elusiveness made me wither and wallow.

REFLECTIONS ON A SUBLIME JOURNEY

Sailing on the ocean of a cosmic pilgrimage
Searching wholeness of the universe
I journeyed into
The flowing river of my soul
And caught a glimpse of the light
Of celestial revelation:
Becoming like an autumn tree waiting
To be kissed by the sparkling lips of spring.

Sailing through cobwebs of mirrored elusiveness
I arrived upon the shores of the waiting bride
Sitting on her throne in her flowery garden
Of enlightenment:
Indeed wisdom dwells in contemplation
And there I tasted the sap of her sagacious essence.
