Best Differentiate Poems

...Apologies to Heraclitus and W. H. Auden...

We, defeated by the merest things,
in defeat, endure...for now.

No abiding truth in faith:
origins and destinations
we cannot differentiate,
all random, unguided
by any prescient power;
but, not illogical
(there is no illogic.)

We impose all universal order,
influence what subsequently occurs,
to learn, or not, through endless repetition,
endless failure...and we are
but a current iteration,
here for now -- in constant flux,
defeated by the merest things.

Courage and nobility derived
from continued confrontation,
continued endless struggle,
let us show an affirming flame.

State of Mind

Yo, how long has it been since you quit trying?
Or perhaps your your self-assurance is cooled and drying.
Maybe it is your arrogance that's fortifying
Your state of mind that's forever verifying.

Self-reliance and discretion in latitude,
Confidential secrets kept in gratitude.
Our laziness is a companion to platitude;
Of course we all know it's really an attitude.

So where do you go from here to appreciate
Lessons of objective differentiate?
Making the changes to complete your self-portrait,
Faith and belief reconstruct, reconciliate.

Temerity must fall by the wayside while you persue
Those things given to provide discression to you.
Tact, talent, trust, and truth are the tools we use to work through
Order and procedures that program anew.

Seeing the bigger picture creates flexibility
Thinking carefully opens avenues of discernability.
Your new state of mind, simply served with humility
Shows what fun life can be when you re-think your ability.

Forever Awakening From Deep Sleep

Unshakeable groggy state
plagues mein kampf
impossible mission to awaken
this comatose zombie
drugged horror - by potent

self manufactured narcotic -
oppressive tantalizing
nightmares indistinguishable
when supposedly conscious,
eyes cannot differentiate

dusky "reality" from
twilit zoned lifelike slumbers
confused with medication
induced hallucinations ferrying
me to lands unknown

lack proper visa to allow
this migrant citizenship,
cannot escape tangled web
spun since birth
threads tensile strength

beyond realm of destruction
incredibly dynamic force
defies sophisticated
contraption to measure
even against most

powerful dynamometer,
no contest when utmost might,
sans primal scream
regarding non anesthetized excruciating
spinal tap daily visited

on this beastie boy,
no matter summoning every last ounce
of mine (billeted) willpower
foregone conclusion collusion
effectually ranked less

than lame duck effort
defeated, jackknifed, stymied...
every step of the weigh
I loathe forlorn doomed curse,
a worse fate than death,

no life worth living when bereft
of interpersonal, "normal",
relational... trappings,
yet death not available
for this walled in hostage

imprisoned within inescapable Alcatraz
every blinkered instant nsync
with pseudo fictional
realistic psychedelic dreams
mocking (this bird – dodo)
man cave existence, a mere

abysmal charade, facade, jade
did minimalistic functionality,
where suicide an irrevocable
unfair punishment to Shana Punim
precious daughter, whose caterwauling...
would wake grateful dead!

Final Prayer

"Lord" I did my time on earth
I protected this life of yours
So many times I wanted to end it
But I never broke your laws

You have never forsaken me
So I hold on and kept my faith
And even when you know I was sinner
You still never differentiate

When she shattered my heart
I pray to you to ease my pain
And you kept me breathing
When you know I couldn't live again

"Please lord" if I did any good deeds
Please answer my final prayer
And please put me out of my misery
Please don’t ask me to live with out her

I can’t explain it lord, I really can’t
But I love her more than I love my life
And it hurts so much when I miss her
I’m dying just trying to survive

Just take me home lord
Please have mercy on my soul
I am nothing without her
And I’m so lonely in the world

And my mind is losing control
And I can’t hold back my emotion
And my tears keeps flowing
Like a river to the ocean

I keep hearing her voice in my head
And it’s driving my crazy
Because she is talking
But she is not talking to me

She is somewhere far
And standing I’m right here
I prayer to you and I cried
Now I think that you just don’t care

And I give faith every chance
And I kept my blood warm
I put my head down
Grind my teeth and Face the storm

While the bleeding in my heart
Keeps over flowing like a well
God please close my eyes
And my life has become a living hell

I did my deeds " lord
Now please take me home
I can’t live without her
And just don’t want to live alone

She is the only woman
That will ever enter my heart
And the hurting is unbearable
When we are so far apart

So I don’t even want to try
There is no use to
Please reach out your hands "lord
And take me home to you

This is my final prayer
I accept my faith
But" lord" please guide her to heaven
And just drop my off by hell’s gate

Premium Member Death and Life - Gustav Klimt - 1286

Life and Death in two separated clusters, Klimt draws conflicts.
The serenity of his cycle of life is bright in pure color, he depicts.
A modern dance of death, yet he offers pause in what is inevitably set.
Death savoring in anticipation, musing with the decision “Not yet”.

Idly, death looks on, a sinister smile upon the gruesome face.
He has no semblance of human form except a skull in place.
Bones clutch a scepter as he seems to have found something to amuse.
His robe of blue adorned by crosses, is he deciding which one to choose ?

The manifestation of death at a distance from the slumbering cycle of life.
A child to the young women, a muscular male and the old, fear no strife.
Beautiful rounded forms clad with gently patterned clothes,
Seemingly unperturbed by the grim reaper, everyone loathes.

There is an eternal confrontation between death and life.
Depictions of death usually show as dangerous as a knife.
Opposed to the life depicted in a passive sleep like state.
The purposeful asymmetrical balance is to differentiate.

Death lies in wait in his blue robe with many a gaping grave.
And yet hope of a reconciliation, seems that he will save.
Not the evil lurking death, tempting them from their bed,
Time to tell with the circle of life, will he allow them to live on instead?

Scruples

...for my sons Keir and Evan

Truth is a two-edged sword,
you will be cut by nonsense,
not by circumstance, my son,
and blinded to its darker side
you'll drift in seas of innocence,
carefree as a neophyte
with all the answers pending,
daft and delirious, your youth is fully spent,
and dreams are never-ending,
immerse yourself in fantasies
as long as you are able,
and nestle, tightly held in heaven's tending.

The twin deceits will wriggle as you learn,
and even good will bring you sorrow,
as the ways of evil cause you strife;
differentiate, discern
that which you can beg or borrow
to lend a sweet contentment to your life.
Everyone will aggravate and meddle,
good and bad will jostle for attention,
the guilty and the innocent,
whatever they can camouflage or peddle
to cheat on their redemption,
(beware the sly recalcitrant!)

The glory of the earth is set before you,
flora, fauna, the duplicity of man,
the dust of stars, the rubble of creation,
the planets slowly spinning into view.
Amidst the whirl, the waste, do what you can,
identify the source of inspiration,
the sounds of summer singing in the grass,
birdsong, and the bliss of flowers in bloom,
the unity of things, below, above.
You'll make a difference in the days that pass,
as you give your fellow seekers elbow room,
uncompromising in your search for love.

Premium Member The Mystical Temple of Poetry

Once freed of boring prodigious
questions.
Once freed of all poetic forms.
Once freed of trying to impress
 you with imagery.
Once freed of following all norms.

Then and only then, may I enter the
mystical temple of poetry.
Then and only then, the incense of me
rises to an aromatic alchemy,
Of such integral and truthful intensity.
That to differentiate the poet from the
poem, is a total impossibility.

Morning Perception

Yes it was a good morning until it wasn’t-
how that did so last,
Though now it’s night and lights are bright
Morning- in the past.
Though reflecting back I can differentiate,
contemplate and calculate-
Good and bad and not too late,
To perceive a morning great.

Moral Attributes

Every person has an attributes
That differentiate him from others
Some people are attributed by wisdom
Others are attributed by reason
And some people are attributed by honesty
But good morals bring together all good qualities
And you will leave an imprint
That will not disappear
Even after your departure
Hold on to your morals and you will rise.

Cryptogram Decoded

Cares pull my spirits down
Always force me, ‘wear a frown’
I heard, “You’ll in darkness drown;
For weeds in you are also sown.”

Seeds like unknown fear and worry
Sprouted in my nursery bed of merry
On watering, I nourished misery
Unable to differentiate their finery

Gradually grew seeds called health and wealth
But sorrow and sufferings sapped its strength
I battled and struggled to save my breath
Expecting someone to fill my heart with mirth

With this frame of mind
No way of escape I could find
On reaching office, I read this thought
Recited it several times in my heart

That every sad day
Is followed by a glad day
As a team we discussed the layout
Of a very important handout

Green is good and soothes the eye
Yellow and black never get an instant goodbye
Red and navy blue give a professional look
Lavender or sky blue, gets anyone on hook

Everyone suggested a hue
And it granted me a cue
Of great surprise among a few
That if colors carried a clue

Of a top secret message
Then I remembered a passage
For this world Jesus is the true light
Who makes the face of any man bright

He’ll weed and make me alright
My life like aroma will ascend in His sight
If each and every shade
That Almighty has made

Reflects God, as a mighty tower
And also expounds His awesome power
Unique His way of having seen my form
Being formed in womb like a worm

Fearful yet surprise filled is His greatness
I wonder and move about carrying His likeness

A Student's Work

Occupations are not
all useful, like when Sisyphus rolls
and nobody cares. Even Camus
can’t justify my love
of quantum or calculus, when it’s burn-lonely
rolling out the integrals: I integrate
myself into a human
-ist Existentialist here’s the point -ist
theory of why I am why I am
and when I differentiate my parents
chide me. I gather the pieces again.

Memories of School Days

It is always nostalgic to think of past,
Especially our school days granting from first.

When I look back at those days,
A smile automatically comes to my face.

As far as my classes are concerned,
I am not among the brightest student turned.

But the teachers never differentiate among the student,
Rather they encourage weaker student's.

But, I can certainly tell you that,
I see myself in a cowboy hat.

As no one in this world is completely happy,
But intensity of happiness from person to person may vary.

Premium Member 'trust Again'

Ruined by your lies
Now she will question
All those that come after you
When will she trust herself again?

How will she sift through the truth and lies?
How will she differentiate between right and wrong?

She has been cut down
Her judgment stifled

You apologized -
Yet she will for months
Or maybe even years still wonder

Why?

Perhaps even blame herself
Naïve she was for believing your every word ---

But guess what?

She is going to try again
And with every step
Strive and reclaim
Her trust and her instinct again

Mentor To Many, But

Trains used to be Chain Smokers.
But we helped them Quit
By Electrifying them.

Dustbins used to be Illiterates.
We taught them to Differentiate
Organic from Plastic.

Communications used to be Lazy.
We motivated them to Run
And to be Quick and Active.

Cultures used to be very Lonely.
We trained them to Mingle
And suspend their Superstitions.

Gold used to be Dusty and Buried.
We pulled it out of Poverty
And helped it Rise and Shine.

We being a Mentor to many,
Still fail to Guide ourselves
Into a Self Disciplined Path.

Dry Spell

Have you ever had a dry spell?

No one likes this. This don't feel well.

You dying for your fix that you feel

Heavenly with and fighting with them

Makes it worse. Every R and B songs

Verse about lovemaking turns in your

Mind to a hardcore hip hop song because

He or she in that category has done you

Wrong. He or she keeps calling you on

The phone and you wish that he or she

Would respond in request to come over

Most definitely, but no it's not going down

Like that. They say no I was just calling you

To say what's up but deep down on the inside

You know the other party and you called

To bust a nut. You both got too much pride

And both dry for each other's love on the inside

The true message is disguised. Anger and resentment

Builds lies about how they really feel, and the

Dry spell moves in for the kill. He or she tries to

Move on, but the feeling for the previous lover is so strong

That he or she is with someone else but regretting to what

Was said earlier on the phone. So he or she calls the other

Person's name wrong and oh gosh call the cops. He or she

Gets cussed out. Dry spells equal lack of communication,

No relations, no sucess lately in the love organization.

Be sure that you really want to leave your mate,

Don't let a dry spell steal off of your relationship's plate.

It could end up being a huge mistake. Don't settle for

Dry spell in your relationship especially if the conflict

Is petty. Communicate, respectfully debate,differentiate,

And if it doen't work , give each other the good bye hand shake.

Dry spells are hells way of throwing a great relationship away.
