The Mystical Temple of Poetry

Once freed of boring prodigious questions. Once freed of all poetic forms. Once freed of trying to impress you with imagery. Once freed of following all norms. Then and only then, may I enter the mystical temple of poetry. Then and only then, the incense of me rises to an aromatic alchemy, Of such integral and truthful intensity. That to differentiate the poet from the  poem, is a total impossibility. September 26, 2019

Profound truth and poetic heart so well expressed in this very fine piece my friend. Sad that some bad apples , even here, attempt to destroy those poets they are so envious of. But such merely represents life and this dark world-- poetry is not exempt from that tragic reality my friend. A fav..

Yes, not all angels here, no matter what cover they use. There is love here, yes. And brutality as in...life, Suddenly avoiding you. Does it materr? It will when it happens to them. Have found this is exactly like the real world. I was not expecting this at all. But I do know who is real here and who is a fake. You, are the real.deal. You know the masters and it shows in your work. You write poetry not compositions. Many other greats here, thank God Panagiota Love, Panagiota

Most profound, Panagiota. You have much of "the philosopher" in you! (me, not so much)

Hey, Panagiota, this poem really swings! Great message, and terrific rhyming. Oops!! I guess I wasn't supposed to say that, as rhyming is a 'poetic norm' from which you are now freed. LOL. … Hey, chillax: It is a poem, after all, isn't it?! Terrific! Cheers, Gershon

I rhyme a lot. Never will be over that one, I do like this poem~ it has a charisma of its own. May sound freaky to some! See Jennifer's comment below. She got it loud and clear.i don't write the poems as in this case, the poem wrote me. Keep being you, PR

Hi Panagiota perfect poetry dear friend - I particularly like "that to differentiate the poet from the poem is a total impossibility - your truthful intensity is always obvious in whatever you pen as you journey through the mystical temple of poetry. Hugs and blessings. Jennifer.

You got my number...,exactly. Wish I had some incense now. My daughter hates it..,I love it. She and I are very close yet so very different. We were both blessed by the 16th Karmapa of Tibet. One of the main blessings one gets is compassion. That we do share plus our love of Eddie...too handsome for words! Hugs, Panagiota
