Notes About The Poem

Contests Contests Footle

My rhyme ‘Sublime’ Low ‘win’ A sin Last place Sour face I moan And groan Me thinks Judge stinks Bad judge… Holds grudge First place… Disgrace! Detests Contests! 05~25~17 (The title is a homograph)

lol Flo, we have all seen how the contests are judged and know who is going to place who at the top - some things never change.. but I write for the challenge, for the joy being creative and to try and make you proud of how far I have come:-) hugs Jan xx

I had fun with this one and I thought the title was quite ironic Andrea lol I remember someone submitted double footles to my last contest as although they are not what i would have thought of footles they do actually work and of course Brian's form has evolved:-) hugs Jan xx

fantastic like always, the feeling is mutual... Jan, I just noticed but because someone brought the attention to me there is no rating gage... I wonder why or are they working on the site.

I've actually done REALLY well in contests recently and wrote this poem some weeks ago as a fun write - i don't care where I place as long as I am creative that is the main thing - many of my poems are not for contests just for the joy of writing:-) hugs Jan xx
