Morning Delight

 MORNING DELIGHT

In one clasps of our hands
Suddenly the murmurings
Are becoming warm and intense
As boldness left behind dumbness
As together now we sing melodious
Songs, caressing. kissing, and playfully dance
Till the wee hours which greatly inspired us.

Even the dawning sun it seems
It was kept at bay
And the stars twinkling and clapping
Witnessing how sweet we have shared
A blissful contrast of a newlyweds honeymooning
A balikbayan to waiting gentle hand
Though jittery they stood together to a
morning glory!

Now, shall we let it go
Vis a vis the doldrums
Of yesteryears which we didn't denied
After the high school years
Autographs, roses and chocolates
Were fads of the late 60's yet to a funny fan
Bestows to a man's erudite love for poetry.

The more it comes straight from the hearts
The constancy of exchange writings of messages and poems
Have become part of life's spontaneity
Even at the middle of the night, we are awaken
Laptops connected, phone conversation
Every little sweet words reverberating through!

3 Love Poems: a Gift, Now I Know, Why You

A GIFT

You've given me
a piece of your soul
inside a sunken brown envelope
written handle with care
as if I was born heavy-handed.

You've telescoped
my soul once more
in its caravan
on a mountain slope
stooped by a bulky backpack.

It's good you've frozen
that portion of my long journey
I could have missed the sun
just because I stooped too low
that I could only see my heavy footsteps.

I've always known
when I unwrap your love
with my crystal-pure letter opener
I've trapped a powerful force
that allows me to forge ahead
with its timely smiles.
what I just received
is static showcase of a dynamic love!

NOW I KNOW

Now I know
you covered yourself
in coming to me
for I was too green
to know myself
that outgrows my form.

I am sorry
if I hated anything
that didn't speak
my unfulfilled language
though what it attempted
was to enrich it and my world.

You spoke my language
nonetheless
and maneuvered me
into marching
to my inner heart.

How could I resist
from following
strangely familiar footprints
to a wide lawn home
almost forgotten
in the dark smoke
of my activities.

WHY YOU

Could it be
That my footprints
Have lead me
To meet and see you as beautiful?

I could have seen you
any other else
If these noise
would have stopped crowding
about my sensitive ear.

Maybe I was formed
To see you as I do
And there's no way
To be otherwise.
Or if there is
It could be a slim probability
I could not wait
For time to unwrap
Your true worth
For I have my heart
Filled with pregnant rose
And to wait a little longer
Would mean forever.

It could be
that you are an eclectic
of personalities
that lighted my footprints
or, perhaps, watered them with tears.
in my case I chose you
and that's a footprint hard to erase!

Pyrotechnic Love

PYROTECHNIC LOVE

At the height of celebrations
A couple inched their way out of the crowd
It was near midnight
Away from the maddening and argus eyes of the people
They found their love nest
Behind the rocky shores
In Seattle
Holding hands together
As they sat embracing and kissing
At the callous virgin sand,
No one could prevent them,
This very opportune time a feeling
Borne out of love and trust,
Before the dawning of another day
They sip the nectar of love,
Like crazy and bountiful love yet beautiful
Yes, it was founded with pureness
Answering its call…. A boom out
Pyrotechnic love!

Mother-In-Law, Sister-In-Law

My mother-in-law
Can I resist adopting
You are truly loved.

And sister-in-law
Materially you have all
Money levels high.

Everything they have
Deny them you are loser
Pray or you get ire!

Play with them well, Dear
Eventually you get praised
Dare as you end dead!

Soft Sensuality

SOFT SENSUALITY

While the waiting is nearing
The longing doubly suspenseful
Mechanically or tender make it eager of welcome
Perhaps hugging and kissing
Will never dampen homesickness
Everything in the “kubo” is envious
Every minute a comfort and intimate
Even crickets stop cricketing
And eking doors shut up and posts oiled
All holes on the walls will have their heydays peeping
Can we stop the nectar oozing down?
Surely a very hearty and glorious days and nights
Like in a store the customer keeps coming back
The delights will never end
Soft and hard are both sensual
Whether the night is romantic
Will both of us irresistible
Especially with naked truth
And never bow out to heavens.

Term: Kubo(Filipino word) means cottage in this poem.

Earth Hour

Where we live is universal
It is men’s abode, they fight for it
Only to become lethal
Man now without mercy is cruel
We love the EARTH and man is wise
To be a fool, he abuses trees for his use
Be it for personal and commercial
He does irresponsible mining to his detriment
His garbage and waste are left uncontrolled.

But sure in pageantry we are not forgetful
Of the monumental EARTH HOUR of this event!
Each one representing
The air, the water, the land, the fire, the rain, the trees
And, Miss Earth is found and crowned
A great face, an advocate , an ambassador
Torchbearer of environmental protection
Mindful of man’s obligation to save this planet
By the second, by the minute, by the hour!

Note: I will diligently sort my garbage into 3 categories: real garbage, recyclable and food scraps (recycled as fertilizers), my humble way of preserving our planet Earth!

Amorous Eyes

His charm captivates me as I stroke his lovely hair
Ohh, his passionate kisses, his tongue on my face, on my neck...
With amorous eyes, relishes his bark, “wuf you, wuf you”.

Opposites Attract Kiss

Generally, no kiss does attract opposite
But, necessary of course
For a definite purpose
Like in intercourse
Kiss is important incidence.

Kissing stimulates
With the same gender it complicates
But, more importantly with opposites.
Nevertheless, for opposites the more
Kissing is very afflictive!
Don’t joke….
Kissing is an ingredient between mates.

Kissing the lips is passionate love
Kissing the head is respect, irrespective
Kissing hand is submissive
Kissing the sensitive is to seduce
Could turn into malice unless you love
Kissing at times is to bid goodbye.

Kissing game
Sometimes for a price
You need to have practice
The spirit is drowningly, torridly enjoyable
Fullness in the act is a consummate
For opposites it could be explosive.

For honeymooners they need a license
Yet for live- ins never mind
But to be alive…
Kissing superhuman is superbly exhaustive!

In the biblical tragedy
Judas betrayed Jesus when kissed.

If These Walls Could Talk

Imagine…
You’re inside
An enclosed room
Wall to wall
You find yourself
In deep predicament
Suddenly…it talk
“You are great!”
“You shall surpass
And, you shall live
Beyond your expectation!”
How come?!
“But your faith
Is the truth
Forget your reservations
No, never waver
More than ever
Thank HIM
For every breath
For love, life and strong belief!”

A Love Story

She is in her 59th summers, while he is in his 60th winters
The way they size up themselves
They are what “on” toward redeeming
And regaining each their respective separate lives before
To one lofty and solid momentum in their lives
If they are today an aged wine, they are the savor
They delve and sip on it to quench their dried lips
Their dried throats to their hearts’ contents
For they are still endowed in spirit, mind and heart!
Once more their paths crossed
Forty two years ago of gnawing, searching
And to a halt, they met again
Destiny, they believe in the making then
Finally they found themselves fulfilling
Lost paradise in a kubo (hut) at the back of a hill
Near a sand dune mountain near the China sea in the North.

A love never and never in their far fetched imagination
They cohabited and concocted this love story
Together they trek a new life with hope
A love never in their lives as separated and divorcees
Ignited a new love and a new, good and compatible relationship
That they alone knew.
Witnessing the romance are love birds in one nest
And bamboos swaying with joy acquiesced their longings
Together they drown themselves
And into high potion of endearment
They have not indulged into drugs like addicts
They were likened but this time
They are really HIGH..into LOVE.
Till the reawakening break of a new dawn
And beyond every pages of calendar
Their love will stay forever.

Stranded

I am bound for home,
 A little after midnight
After an earthly nightly owl,
 Over wines, songs and dances
The wee hours till we adjourned.
While driving in a wooded area
When a sudden downpour
With a big thunder climaxed me around
With total darkness and a blackout prevailed
Then, my car slowed to a stop
And stranded in the middle of nowhere
Oh, I have an empty fuel, my goodness!
This very untimely and unfortunate
Opportune misgiving on my part!
Thinking of some of my remedial intuitions
My cell phone is dead!
At last, a car light at my back
Perhaps a law enforcer
Or, maybe somebody came to a rescue
A loud knock at my left window
Pointing my flashlight where the knock came
I saw a… lady in a white gown smiling at me!!

Midnight Pearl

MIDNIGHT PEARL

Pearl is precious
Sea pearl even hard to find
Much more a mermaid at guard
Human pearl even more
A human being is a true beauty but weak
More than ever it needs careful care
A lady with a heart
Is a midnight pearl
The heart is a focal point
Center of her morality and fidelity
Her love must be pure and spontaneous
It can’t be gleaned outside
It is deep inside
The night is enormous and blinding
Its horizon must be lingering
Prove worthiness that endures! It can make waves…

Serenity Response

Year 1983 Lord
You gifted me a special child
I thought then, he was a penalty
Now I realized, he is an earth angel
 A priceless present from heaven.

He has cerebral palsy, total blindness and quadriplegics
I can’t replace his erratic muscles
I can’t give light in his eyes
I can’t change his feet.
I can’t modify his physical condition.

Listen to my heart Oh Lord
I am your humble servant
You make miracles
I don’t pray for miracles now
I supplicate for continuous strength!

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change”

Fire

FIRE

The fire in you
Must be sustainable
It has to give warmth
And not dampen the dryness
But unguarded fire
May go astray
It might be widespread
Enough water may never quench
As the fire lingers in you
Give space makes it ignited
Glorious and gratifying
And the heat is there till morning!
