“In silent seclusion, we question the haunting whispers while losing air, craving just one last second within moving minutes of healing” Quote by Poet

I'm lost between dusky dews of twilight,
tethered to the tomb of withered flowers,
trailing souvenirs within frosted hours,
as stars wane like ghosts, stealing the skylight,
splattering ink across a somber maze
in hues of dreams and periwinkle haze,
to paint crestfallen roses with reasons~
veiled behind verses of balmy seasons.

But will the wind and waves merge in stillness;
unleash elixirs to heal the broken,
and voice the hurt that remains unspoken?
Or am I to forever sail through sins~
across woeful seas of peridot pins,
like a mere outcast, silenced by sickness…

Crestfallen Angel

My crestfallen angel, I see your soul cry. I see you live in darkness, waiting and praying to die.

Your deep souls complexion, and the burden you bear. Scream to me so silent. A feeling so rare.

You wonder out, to not be seen. You can run and run, but can't hide it from me.

I feel your confinement. I know its unjust. You are my diamond just cover in dust.

My slow slipping sweet heart, I know you heart aches. But you cant be disillusioned, I can't see you break.

You brought me from darkness. Made me content. But when I try to break your walls, i don't make a dent.

Your holy and majestic, but your losing your grip. If I end up losing you. I can't forgive and forget.

Your all that I long for, the reason I wake. Choosing to take your life, is a nonprofit mistake.

Destroy the one who built you. You'll leave us in despair. Pushing us all way
Is what's really unfair.

My dying delicate, most special delight. I love you for a reason, you brighten my night.

I can't let you go, I won't let you demise. You need to realize, for you MY souls cries.

Crestfallen

Yesterday's studying lies in await. Glancing over my notes revealed decisions were
made on a certain date.
Feeling helpless caused me to realize that no matter what I do, I could not change
things for the moment.
Today was the appearance. It was too late. These past several months led me into
a battle of words causing my participation in literary fighting. The decision was
expected.
So, the shocking words did not hit me like a bolt of lightning.
Although it was tough, I faced all my foes like a soldier.
Demeanor hard as a rock, still as a statue, and strong as a boulder. No longer a
little child.
No one for me to trust to even cry on their shoulder. I guess those are a few
examples of maturity and getting older.
The unanimous decision was unconsciously expected, leaving my attitude solemn.
However, upon exiting the building my whole world fell apart, leaving me crestfallen.

The Onset of Crestfallen Poetry

Stifled tears
Recorded in
The pages of
An old diary
Made immortal
In the hearts of
Kindred souls
Awakened
By the dawns of
Early light
Cradled thoughts
Luminous indeed
A way for the soul to
Release its many burdens of
Life and lost love

Crestfallen (Quatern)

And now - there is but emptiness
slow breathing of unscented air
that on my soul did so impress
the aura of her presence near.

The wine’s been poured, the bottle passed,
and now - there is but emptiness
cold loneliness of shadow cast
sweet fading touch of parting’s kiss.

Lingering hints of love’s duress
shared secrets that we could not bear
and now - there is but emptiness
and tears shed for an empty chair.

For love’s first flowers always bloom
as waves full powered at their crest
then wilt, and break, and leave the room
and now - there is but emptiness.

Crestfallen Smile

Like lightning falling from heaven,
your last fling ended without warning
Bewitching Boston Creole buxom beauty,
your crestfallen smile told a tragic love story
Superhuman strength from an unknown source
moved you on your curvaceous Amazon course
I watched from a low hanging urban perch
as you floated with sassafras ease towards me
Suddenly you stopped right in front of my eyes,
and started looking around with sensual curiosity
I fell from my heart stoop, lost in your rapt reverie
In the delta of destiny, you found your new journey
A rising tide of romantic hope swiftly over swept me
Funny Valentine smile washed ashore next door literally

Crestfallen

Mother sobbed throughout the night.

Her face was ashen,

Chasms carved where her tears would run.

Her profound beauty,

All but dust in the wind.

I can barely recognize her now.

Father left.

He Said,

"How can I love a memory.

A fleeting one at best?

The doctors could not help,

So what good am I?"

As he walked out the door.

She needed no reminder,

Of those,

Loved and lost,

The memories of which,

Called home such a barren land.

Still, ironic indeed,

She could never let go,

Of something she never held.

A Crestfallen Heart

A crestfallen heart, a demon’s delight
Served up as the main course
At their banquet tonight

An agonized soul
Devoured as well
Until the darkness of night
When they rise up from hell

Locked shutters or doors
Provide no respite
From the heart break and pain
Bestow the midst of the night

Sorrow and sadness, demons bask in delight
A pitiable soul sits in the darkness
By the cause of the night

The dark of the night
Brings an arduous despair
Only memories and demons
The three of you there

Emily Crestfallen

one two three four
Emily Crestfallen
sits on the shore
five six seven eight
she's not worrying
about her fate
nine ten eleven twelve
she loves to read
books from her shelf
thirteen fourteen enough said
she's still lonely
she's still sad
but the waves crash
on rocks so old
and the sea will not answer
it's simply too cold
Emily waits
without a move
for months and years
still nothing to lose
she can't go home
she can't be real
now she turned to stone
'cause no one feels
the way she did
but it's all over
she rests in her sleep
with all the hidden
secrets she used to keep

Wait for the rain to die
Wait,for the tears to dry

Wait for the mist to go
Wait,for trust to flow

Wait for anger to cool
Wait,for love to rule

Wait for scars to heal
Wait,as forgiveness heals

Wait on without fear
Wait,as comfort draws near

Wait for passion's call
Wait,and stand tall

The Crooning Bee

My heart feels crestfallen
Whenever I think about that day
She looked like a bee collecting pollen
In the garden of Deity as she pray

The raven attire on the pale skin
The ample lips and the double chin
Crooning behind the queen bee
Her voice was faint yet bold as the sea

I kept admiring the charm of the damsel
But she paid no heed
she kept worshiping from the chancel
And my heart wanted me to plead

My trembling approach to her was late
As the crowd started to leave
I lost to the cruelty of my fate
But my heart wasn't ready to believe

Whenever I have that recollection
Looking at the hanky kept as souvenir
My heart blooms with infatuation
As I could feel her euphonious voice clear

Crestfallen

The only place I can find peace right now is the night sky,
My heart is broken again, remembering her wickedness,
The eventide breeze tryin’ to comfort my sadness,
And I, tryin’ to hold back the tears in my eyes.

My heart is a bit heavy to lift by some gleeful memories,
Wish to walk with my shadow in this wonderful eve,
But too afraid I might find comfort with this night,
And that I may not return to those who wait for me.

Oh night, this wonderful feeling you offer me,
I must refuse for I might get lost,
Ended up loving you so much and live in a dream,
A dream I may never give up even if I have to live alone with you.
