The Onset of Crestfallen Poetry

Stifled tears
Recorded in
The pages of
An old diary
Made immortal
In the hearts of
Kindred souls
Awakened
By the dawns of
Early light
Cradled thoughts
Luminous indeed
A way for the soul to
Release its many burdens of
Life and lost love

I'm a fan of the word "crestfallen". It's heavy!

Thank you Linda It's funny that I can only write when my moods are low, I have no idea why but I love to laugh but most of my poetry is about sorrow and yet it's not always about me it's about what I've seen others go through
