Premium Member Sing, My Soul

A thread ...
ties me to the Infinite
a tendril of sonorous joy, expressed
weaves the depth of my marrow
to all that is and was and shall be and shan't ...

O - sing, my soul, of all that I am - sing of what I can't be!

A breath ...
holds my melody of being
spirit coursings beyond the capability of sensate expression
swell from the reaches of my heart
to find their diaphanous wings upon the maelstroms ...

O - sing, my soul, of all that I feel - sing of a bounding love!

A scream ...
rooted in dulcet dreams
rhythmic and dolorous and dark, of the night
dances, lilting, to bind the wounds of that greater expanse
to shed in music what I fear most ...

O - sing, my soul, of all that hides - sing of my shaded sins!

A song ...
sews my innermost to the day
a choral conjugation of my bones and the breadth of heaven
the seed of expression, harmonious ... wending
to enjoin this sparrow's strain ... with the All ...

O - sing, my soul, of all myst'ries to find - sing of a life at end!

O - sing!

Spending a few moments pondering

The syllogism of existentialism, and

All of the pages of histories

Finds, movements, theories and themes....

The intricities; complexities

Compounds; variables and factors

Real or imagined?

Proven, and reproven

Or, reasonings and conclusions

Breakthroughs!?

How far we've come

How far we've gone

On and on, and on and on....

Scientifical; anthrolifical; astronomical

Enlightenments, and advancements

Psychological; philosophical

Both, for me and you

That is, if we do, share

The same points of view?

Oh how I love complete silence

Stillness....

The meditation of contemplation

Trying to take hold, of the transitory

And to incise it, into forevers

Monomorphic stone!?....

Standing amid, a quaglistic earthium

Chisms of revisums; revisums, of the isms

Circular conjugation, concoursing

It's configurations....

Unbeknown, toward, a conflagration

Beyond the eyes?

This, schizogenic, schizogenesis

Genesis, of another nature

"Dementia Praecox"....With no eraser!

Gabylon, now in every nation....

Welcome, to, "My View!!!"

Present Perfect In Summer School

PRESENT PERFECT in SUMMER SCHOOL

CONJUGATION
I have yearned
Thou hast returned
He has departed
She has kissed faint hearted
We have voiced warm greetings
They’ve had timid meetings

The young ones the old ones
The joiners and the out-in-the-cold ones
The sad boys the bad boys
The mild boys and the wild boys
The Shy girls, the sly girls
The good girls and no-better-than-they-should girls
The skivers and the strivers
The schemers and the dreamers

PAST HISTORIC
I retain affection
In retrospection

She with the bright eager face and wisdom beyond her age
He in the body of a boy but with full grown mind of a sage
He the humble giant, driven to knowledge that he pursues
She with the questing soul of a scholar and romantic heart of a muse

They have devolved
The Earth has revolved

And today we elect
To teach Present Perfect

PRESENT

Outside the classroom

Sun cloud and tree dapple the grassy vale
Aspens tremble, willows sway in graceful measures
Blackbird, thrush and warbler trill a delicate scale
Daisies, buttercups, cowslips scatter transient treasures

Above and beyond in skies azure and white
Skylarks ascend, red kites soar in cerulean
And in their chosen study focus sight
Gaze down upon this blest Elysian scene

Seven Years Later

Why?

                                                   Wag of the finger
            “No, No, No”
                                                          “You’re not on the ball”

All that stands out!
No lecture-
only words…

As light in August,
the fading memories-
yet the shaking head-
brown hair with streaks of blonde,
that stupid finger…

Why?

Hispanic perplexed-
in Spanish…

Learning  conjugation
to an end.

Or was it those eyes?
fierce, emitting…

Amusement-

Why?

All for-
                                                     Wag of the finger…
            “No, No, No”

                                                     “You’re not on the ball”

Only flames,
burn the flash-

There in the corner-
Abrir-                                         To open

Retention averted.

Some Adjectives Can Be So Possessive

My desert I-land is a great place to be.
Would you care to peruse this brochure?
But even with the Bible and Shakespeare,
my eight favourite gramophone records,
and a limitless supply of needles,
not everything is kosher.
If you're feeling lonely, how about
me coming over to you-land,
or if you like, you can visit me-land
On second thoughts, I'd better visit you-land first,
As in the second person you can't tell nominative from accusative.
In any case, we can always practise the dative,
or conjugate in the first person plural.
We'll see I to I, I'm sure.
Then we can go on trips to him- and her-land,
and even to the continental them-land
(if you can stand the crowds).
But if you come over to me-land,
I'll show you all the tourist sights.
Don't believe those silly stories about swamps,
shark-infested bays, and so on. Lies, I tell you, lies!
Mind you, I can't promise fair weather all the time.
If the wind's in the wrong direction,
you might imagine you're getting the whiff
of an imaginary swamp. Lies, I say!
Can I interest you in a colour brochure?
Visit my sunny I-land--excuse the slip--visit me-land.
Some adjectives can be so possessive.

Envoi

There's no need to get tense
about the future.
After the conjugation
and--excuse my grammar--
things copulative are past,
and we are no longer active,
let us, the redundant,
decline in the imperfect,
and dream of a promised land,
beyond the gloaming,
where the sea ends in
the infinitive.

Censorious Ignorance

by Michaelw1two

 Intonate a spirited debate,
 explore the subtlety of doubt;
 compassionately seal one’s conjugation,
 inspire pairing’s deity;
 self-survivals issue mute,
 its sequella, each by chance deter;
 question quandary’s quenching quick,
 empyreal reality’s oddity.

 Convoke, thoughts sum in totality,
 reveal in this your fears;
 coetaneous mindsets mimic those,
 all secrecy, please set free;
 excitatory, proves that probe,
 it profiles everyone sincere;
 solipsism, revealed fantasy,
 each life, reflecting in soul confrere.

 Partisan secrecy, in hide laid bare,
 admits its failing bent;
 bluster slurries thrive,
 behind thin veil, truths foment lament;
 taciturnly, on wings of change,
 ideal belief, impulsion illuminates;
 diabrotic, one’s choice of drink,
 inscience, engineered ab initio.

 Thereunto, the future blind is placed,
 upon censorious dais;
 nonconscious essence, laced within,
 every minds object of desire;
 imperatives, those of nature’s own,
 establish trust in broad ideas;
 jeu d’espirit, exemplify these,
 opposition, inflates derisory odds.

 Absquatulate, this lividity,
 living’s frisson spiraling enmity;
 distensioned life, holds this stress,
 future’s truth remains unmet;
 positioned concept challenged all,
 its touch does one enumerate;
 propositus, friend by friend employ,
 mind, most precious entity.

Thinking Off

I walk through the slush
of moral grief.
Here lies my mortal poem.

A prodigal menace.
You will not breathe in, the
golden grass, once more.
Lingering beside the past, the
savage today. I pick up
the silence of the tomb.

Lateral conjugation. You
come from the otherside to
breach the wall, bear the
                     pluralism?

and become none. The under-
belly, the yellow blood ?
Will you hold my hand
to cross the meaning ?

Change

To the melting snow
The winter asked
Do you no more have the desire to walk with me?

The snow answered
The time expired, and I didn’t realize my own melting
Probably I do not exist anymore!
So I thought, I shall become a flood and meet the sea
In this pretence,
At least my desire to meet the sea will be fulfilled
Again in the winter next year
To become the snow and fall, and to cover the extreme heat after that
I need to meet the sea.

Hearing me
The winter was startled
In that moment of farewell, the winter changed the colour of its face
Seeing the floating dry leaves
The spring season asked
You do not want my company anymore?
The dried leaf said
I have gone old and useless.

I thought
Rather than fly and disappear
It’s better to burn and vanish.
In this pretence
My wish to meet my soil
Might be materialized.

Probably I might become helpful
On the arrival of the next season.
On hearing the leaf’s idea
The spring broke into roaring laughter of separation
Changing the colour of its face.
Here the winter is gone
And the world is preparing to enjoy the conjugation with spring.
Probably hearing the words of the snow and the leaf
The changing colour of the roaring seasons
And this coming and going game of the nature
The dried leaf understood
The melting snow too understood
But as a man, I could not.
The leaf knows its end
The snow knows when it shall melt
The season too knows the time of separation
With the dried leaf and the snow.
