When spring dies shall the valley shines,
And by the light of night quivering heart away,
Yet through beauty morning confines,
Till that ripe in please, so a master archway
Where the dreamers like twin births’ filling with kisses, and lies;
Thou as Earth art fair and young and open to please,
To sing within another hour and close from the auguries
And teach everyone else just as a command of love, cease
No more from the last tear from November. I met afternoon
Where all creatures are in such display and all these plays
Too late then with thou shower thy from I am the lonely gossoon
Behind the rocks dreaming or laughing, so cold from their foreplays;
Shall I late to see through for what I become and I wish?
To hide from the moral shine what I could not abolish?

Curtal Sonnet
There was once a colossal man,
who enjoys cooking with a pan,
One day while he was preparing food
his friends were being rather rude
so he fried them in the pan.

I feel
I am widdiful
A bloom of colossal
Making my way to the rooftop
Beneath, stars hung from gossamer
The windows, I pass in flashing strobe
In the stripes of a crook, I face the moon
Treading the prism of the crashing rain
The city darkens beneath my heal
My back, to the rising
Bloom of colossal,
I am widdiful
I feel

Don’t you stop making me feel great day in and day out
Please don’t stop the rhythm of 2 heartbeats as one…
We belong with each other…we were meant for each other no doubt
Chorus: You are my saving grace
You traced tranquility on my lips
Behind closed doors, there are secrets to unfold
Find your way out of your own maze
You can’t save me this time
Find the energy to run the extra mile
Find the strength to say goodbye sooner or later
Later for now…let me sway away…let me flutter away
Think on me…think of me…
Believe in me…reflect on me…
I’m embracing silent slumber on cloud 7
I can’t deny that you’re far better than the notion of heaven
I can’t find the strength to say goodbye
Oh no, was our love a lie from the start? Don’t lie!
Let us take wing and gloriously fly…don’t let our high spirits die…
We have a pair of wings, so what are you waiting for?
What are you living for? To stay by my side forevermore…
Truly, sincerely, you are the only one that I can say that I fell in love with – our
love was legit
You are the one that I adore…
But there are more bright opportunities to grab a hold of…is there a way to get
out of my remorse-stricken pit
Illuminate me with your words of wisdom – what am I waiting for?
Is there something to look forward to behind the colossal corridor?
What’s behind the door? Let me see what’s in store…

In Southern Arizona, there is an old cave
A history, does it have a story to tell
More than a hole in a mountain
For many a outlaw it was their grave
Years before the Indians lived there as well
Protected by thorns of the Prickly Pear, that is for certain
Bank and train robber, hid their stolen stash there
Cool their heel and hide from the law
No doubt, that many were shot in the back
Out of greed, in their outlaw lair
Living by their law
Cochise and Geronimo, also left their track
"La Posta Quemada", a cattle ranch it later became
Where cowboys would ride
The mountain was steep and mean, cactus galore
"The Burning Post", by the White man;s name
The thorns would rip the horse's and cattle's hide
And the cave with all it had to store
The old steer would go to the top and hide
Would stay there for years and never come down
To gather them was a cowboy's living Hell
For the horse's armor, around his chest would be wet rawhide
From he cactus thorns and the steer were found
Yes, old Colossal Cave does have a story to tell

You have never tasted chocolate
‘Til you’ve had yourself a bite
Of a truffle bought in Belgium,
Like the one I had tonight.
Purchased on my last vacation –
Seemed it was the thing to do –
I had not yet had a nibble
‘Cause I didn’t have a clue.
But a visit from my daughter
Was the motivating force
And it only took a tiny taste
To fill me with remorse.
For my mouth became electric
From a chocolate so intense
That the small amount I purchased
Didn’t make a lot of sense.
Oh, at times I must acknowledge
Making one colossal goof
And if you could taste this truffle,
You’d have all you need as proof.

Brilliant, stupendous, colossal, I used to be called
But recently my utter coolness has become quite quelled
Perhaps coz my body
Has become more shoddy
No need for pity, brain power's still unparelled

Upon top of mount of dreams stands colossal tree
Some of its boughs we can see
Others we are too small to see
Some of those are terrifying others full of beauty
The tree life represents
Each leaf soul of the universe accents
One of them science represents
One magic that includes all orbs not only magical orb in its contents
The rest of leaves we cannot see
But they are all on that tree
Above in the sky of dreams there is something of unimaginable power and majesty
It is the counterbalance to life’s tree
The counterbalance opens the door
To very soul of divine that eye can explore
If it has a foot on its shore
And sometimes in the deepest dream for man it opens this door

nothing brings out the rats like a eulogy---
they come scampering out from the sewage drains &
all dressed in whimpering black,
show up because they have to make an appearance
in order to keep up some kind of rep
in order to make good with the other slithering snakes
who may still be wondering about the
will,
regardless of whether or not the deceased in question
really was a “good” person
(whatever that means).
and if the person was a ****
as so many of us are in life
then the eulogy is the time when all the bull*****is
concentrated,
when you can close your eyes,
throw a rock & hit a bushel full of lies---
people making up stories that never really happened
(who’s gonna argue?),
people sharing emotions that aren’t even there,
all for the sake of the
living---
because those of us who really did know so & so
are supposed to be broken up & torn inside,
and for some reason this obligatory tradition
is supposed to bring some kind of closure to us
so that we can go back to work on monday &
continue to provide for the machine as
good little workers.

These thoughts paint my mind
dizzying and distorted,
a victim of me;
Shadows take your shape
sitting stuck lodged in my throat;
Hallucinations;
More often than not
larger than they really are,
running on nothing;
Ever expanding
like this lump suffocating,
I am left swallowed;
Blinking back the illusion,
a colossal silhouette.
