He was the big stud-on-campus, was Todd,

   Until he was nabbed smokin' somethin' odd!

      Coach booted him from the team.

         Up in smoke went Mommy's dream,

    ...

The New Girl In the Campus
First day at the college with my new car,
	as I wanted to make it perfect.
	Yes, dressed like a rock star.

	You know! How choosy we really are..
	As to our whole world, it does affect.
	And I was nervous, standing along the girls with cigarette and cigar.

	Then...

Campus Quad
Sipp'n on drinks
Walk'n outside
There she is
Beautiful as ever
Couldn't walk past
without saying hi
"You go here"
Yeah, You
"Yeah" ....
She caught my eye
And soon after my heart
Your pretty
"Nah you are"
Wrap'n arms around body ....
Same place we met
I whispered...

Amina's Bye-Campus Lust
When I was still rising, from east to west
Little I got it, my old ones tough
They asked how much, the soil plus shelter
I thought but bit, all for my laugh

In the highest school on earth, where readers joke
Every color of wickedness, and integrity- mock
Amina he...

Leaving For Campus
i want to freeze this moment
to paste all this feelings
into one moment in time
these smells
theses thoughts
these sounds around me

the tuk tuk i am in reaches town
and from the mosque nearby
the mwadhini calls out loud
"Allah Akbar"
the faithfuls;
men in stark white robes
and women in shimmering black buibuis
hurry...

Civil War Marker: Vanderbilt Campus
History’s unpopular these days,
No one cares where Blues shot Greys,
Or where the tons of cannonballs were kept.
Union marker stands aloof, alone,
Monument of bronze and chisled stone,
And students giggle where the Northern troops once swept....

My Experience In the Hospital Campus Tunnels
Iron monsters
with bearded men astride,
stir a whirlwind
crashing past me howling warnings
then evanesce into silence.

A man dressed
like an angel
concludes by saying, "take care"
before sallying forth
down the long cement block corrider.

I walk through the tunnel,
surrounded by multicolored tubes.
Figures in uniforms grow near then diminish
into vanishing point
entrances...

The Campus Disease
The Campus disease

New students report fresh and healthy
Soon they all become disabled and lost
Polio in the limbs, river blindness in the eyes
Wax in the ears and stones in the heads

You can see Vice Chancellor extra-happy
Continuing students scatter their lips in joy
Lecturers carrying big stomachs in...

Islamabad Campus Scenario
Julie was already taking birth control pills,
but Mark uses a condom too,
just to be safe.
They both enjoy making love,
but they decide not to do it again.
They keep that night as a special secret,
which makes them feel even closer to...

Premium Member Encounter On Campus
Walking through the gardens;
sky sifting raindrops,
I was stopped in my tracks by a Hawk.
Wings flapping towards me,
he leapt from foot-to-foot;
a primal mating dance.
I went left, he went left;
I went right, he went right;
left right, left again, dancing foot-to-foot;...

Big Man On Campus
Two Greek fraternities will battle it out.
Go head to head in a do or die bout.
They will prove their manhood with different games.
Against each other they will make slanderous claims.

The Greeks on the right are traditionalists and aggressive.
The Greeks on the left are open-minded and...

At the School Campus
J-ust let the woes wane,
A-fter the Saturday night;
N-ew dawn has broken,
E-rasing the twilight.

A-llow the thrill to come,
S-unday fifth February;
T-o finish the heartache,
E-nding the long misery.
J-ust go home now,
A-s it's a two-day hiatus;
D-on't celebrate your birth
A-t the school...

You hope that university will answer all of life’s questions, but nope.

I don’t know, 1.
There was a guy who’d been hanging around outside our residence lately. Too consistently. At first, I thought he was someone’s friend but he’s always alone. He wasn’t doing anything or...

Premium Member Snow Night
Snow began in mordant gray dusk,
a silent sprinkle of crystal light twinkle,
attaché charm to the simply ordinary.

Purple skies drew black as dreary fought back
to obscure winter’s mask of ceramic magique.

Yellow sodium campus lights slow ignite to golden
halo bright, their intense, saintly glows casting...
