Best Bragger Poems

The Honey Pot

I am the honey pot
Famous for the well brewed bittersweet content within my belly
Like molten chocolate sweet, only more sumptuous
Not that I’m a bragger –
But many have come to me for an ounce of my content
And I must say; it has them licking their fingers
They can’t seem to have enough of me
But before you judge me a drug – hard or soft; which I’m none
It’s gospel my attraction is just as strong if not more

Having colleagues at all ranks, my fan base is overwhelmingly high -
Dozen power suits have shaken hands with me
Lucrative business deals sealed in my presence
Services are efficient under my order
Law lenient at the mention of my name
Findings less unraveling with me at the middle
Lands change titles under my brokerage
A few helping hands more willing at the sight of me
Small favours too at this age seek me first
My tentacles truly reach far and wide

And lest you call me a blackmailer or worse a prey –
I seek not, but sought after
Hooked as a bait on my colleagues’ preying poles
And cast into the stream of the less fortunate
To the oceans of abundance
Where their ever hungry greed is never filled
They care less of my side effects
That range from a sour reputation
Law catching up if I don’t buy a way out for them
To the recycled injustices from the days of their fathers
Injustices that to date rock the social, political, economic arenas
Bitter side aside–
I still remain an allure
To them it is survival of the fittest

I'M So Lucky

I know I don’t look like Brad Pitt
imagine trying to stay fit
I am not a neuro surgeon
I would surely be a virgin

I don’t have Donald Trump’s money
but then girls think I’m so funny
I will never sing like Jagger
people say I’m not a bragger

I don’t drive a red Ferrari
I like going on safari
the whole idea of minister
just creeps me to be sinister

I know I’m so very lucky
but I do dream of unlucky?

I'M Just Me

When asked how I am today
This is what I say.

Not good
Not bad
Just me.

No one likes a complainer.
No one likes a bragger.

Neither of these will I be
If I'm JUST ME.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Equipped

Shane Blaine walked with a swagger
and was viewed as a bragger.
Ladies liked him lots
but kept secret their thoughts.
Awed by his eight-inch dagger.

I Am Strong

Here I am
Just as myself
Never stepping down
Always in leadership
And I refuse to wear a frown

I’ve fluttered up from the bottom
Released my pessimistic views
Like a dove with broken wings
They have healed,
And away I flew

I can’t be broken down
You will see me as a whole
The pieces held together
By my family pure as gold

I work to make my living
Sometimes it is so tough
But I wouldn’t change a second
What is life without love?

In the place that I live
Not the nicest
Far from best
But we are working our way up
My family’s stronger than the rest

Don’t take me as a bragger
But my confidence is firm
If I can make it through a tragedy
Then surely,
I can make it through a storm

My Name

My Name is O.M.P.H.I.LE; I own it as a badge, it is my definition and who I am.

O pen-minded
I open my mind up not to judge, to live and let live. As we all on a different journey, and the Rightful Judge is The Father so who am i? But measly man on whom He Looks upon, I am not here to be a divider of people but rather to bring them To the Lord if they may come.

M ad
I am that craziness wrapped up in pure African skin, complicated in a bubbly personality to make me. Mad about Christ, Mad on people, Mad on Life. Totally Mad. My best quality yet and I embrace it with the same way a new born embraces Life.

P oet
Amateur poet striving for the Best, on the way to the top, Contemporary baby! In a way that gives my readers goosebumps, with standing hairs upon their neck wondering if I am of this Earth. No, I am not a bragger I am just merely writing what people have expressed to me.

H umble
This is a quality best left to be judged by others, but as a famous quote goes sometimes you need to give yourself a pat on the back. Humility a quality that is required of all to showcase the human factor in one. I embrace you.

I ndividual
Yes baby! You heard me right I am an individual in my own right, clasping on to my originality with both hands (tsoo-pedi). I love who I am, and my individuality is not a crutch, but a formation of the being that defines me, beauty, brains, flaws, sugar and spice baby. No one else like me walks this Earth.

L ove
The Lovistaér! Kgm kgm… I love to love and be loved, the love queen. Love is at the core of every human, how can we exist without i? It nailed My Saviour to the tree. The Four letter word with immense impact when uttered, it can not be taken back, powerful words! Change my world today with them words! Can you feel me???

E ntertainer
A self-defined ‘Born Entertainer’, how I Love to make people laugh, smile and be happy. I wanna be a ray of sunshine in your dark day, so let me bring you to the radiance of gladness in this blissful abyss I Invite you too, can you feel my spin?

Two Encores

Two Encores

Now please don’t think me a bragger,
But, I sung on stage with Mick Jagger.
There we pouted our lips,
and we wiggled those hips.

Two encores and Superstar swagger.

Premium Member Her Name Is Iris

She lights up the entire surrounding.
She's absolutely the genuine article.
I tell you, she's out of my league.
Adorable, with a touch of intrigue;
She smiles and waves at me as she quietly comes and goes.

Neither a swagger nor bragger.
She's not a pink, white, or red rose,
But forces one to stare at her pose.
She's short-lived, but arresting.

Beautiful and captivating,
She's classy, a real 'looker'.
But often missing in action
Because her season is brief.

Tall, colorful, and alive,
With the look of royalty.
Yet she fits well among commoners.

Gracing the entry of our flower garden,
She's embraced by yesterday
with a never-ending story.

She dresses in purple,
And looks stunning.
Her name is Iris.

My Holland America Coaster

My Holland America Coaster

I have never been bad, bragger or a boaster
But I have liked my Holland America coaster
Which to me was really some big surprise
Which each one was for free I did realize.

Now my coffee cup I put and place on it
After drinking then back on coaster will sit
Cup on coaster as I see both on table there
Us to go on next cruise, I wonder where.

Europe sure is such a long way to go
And jet lag down it really, always does slow
So how about two weeks in a permanent place
On beach staring at your beautiful face.

Many others are doing things like this
Have been totally relaxed and full of bliss
Instead of brains and bodies taking a beating
And for a long time sitting in tight seating.

If what you want to do is see me smile
Should go two weeks on beach near an isle
Where we together can sail to when we want
Through travel brochures should start to hunt.

Find pleasant place like this then let me know
And my get up that is gone will want to go
On vacation where our bodies can revive
And always feel welcome after we arrive.

How Loud Can a Curtain Call

How Loud Can a Curtain Call

Why do some people prefer to discourage
When what they should do is encourage
Others to write poems and subjects to choose.
Like one which was about a perfect excuse.

I wrote a poem and became the laughing stock
After everyone ended up in a state of shock
Either it was in Oregon or perhaps Washington
Where the actual emphatic story had begun.

We here are called an incredible West coaster
Left behind on east one each bragger and boaster
While we feast on fashion here in the West
And antics are known for pulling the best.

Everyone on West Coast seems to panic
When we will end up doing a frantic antic
And after we see your faces all aglow
We turn it into a great, terrific TV show.

This is our dream always expressed precisely
For part in play we had done so nicely
There is only one way out and an escape
Jump under before they pull curtain and drape.

How about: It was certainly curtains for your show.

Bragger Who Would Stagger

Bragger Who Would Stagger

Total amount of sins was enough to stagger;
About them Trump was boaster and bragger;
Publicly profane;
Hard to explain;
Destined for disaster yet he still did swagger.

Insomnia

I close my eyes
To dreams I partake
But I fall from my sky
I am awake

I cannot pass
My insomnia shake
My mental harass
I am awake

Memories flood
Like a thinking quake
Thicker than blood
I am awake

Bodily sweat
With my pain and ache
Stalking silhouette
I am awake

In my heart death
This life is lived fake
I feel the cold breath
I am awake

I plunge dagger
All I've lost, I take
But in sleep I’m a bragger
Never awake

Both Patient and Prudent

Both Patient and Prudent

When I grew up wanted to be like you
Continually write poems each day a few
In comfort of my home with wife live
Much attention to God be sure to give.

Love for wife, ensure she receives it all
Not be a big bragger and others appall
Maybe have occasional change of heart
New venture in life be sure to try and start.

So now for what new venture should I plan
End up in heaven because God said I can
If both very patient and prudent I will be
There is no limit to what I can do and see.
