piled up on the vacant beach
cloaked in mystery

Dear John, you gave me a good laugh with your senryu. Since we all pronounce words differently, syllable counts are really a "mystery," as are rhyme and meter. Excellent write :D Love, Carolyn

Chuckles: Great senryu! Haiku/Senryu Tanka/Choka just keep counting by 5s and 7s.
