Premium Member Forgive My Silence

Dear December, Forgive my silence,
I’m still bleeding from
               the lacerations,
I still hear the echoes
from our confrontations.
So much was
          lost in translation,
though I’ve been
         healing in isolation.
Warm is the smile,
when you stretched
your arms
with compassion,
understanding that
not everything
    is black or white.
As I’ve learned about life:
   it goes on.
and In the midst of the
somersaulted journey,
I still remember those
who boosted my sanity,
when September sorrows
slayed my spirits,
as I slowly severed my thorns,
to watch them drown
in a sea of
   broken breaths,
whilst perpetually
praising the painters’ pain,
and the abstracts of
architects articulating
a peaceful pathway,
although I still dwell
on the regrets from
strawberry fed wolf moon,
the night when my
heart yearned to be heard,
as I delicately smeared
my emotions across
clementine and
       cranberry twilights,
in hopes
        of forgetting
withered willows,
whilst letting it melt
Honeysuckle vines,
with hues of the sangria
sky reflecting ever so softly,
showing me reasons
to believe again in
better tomorrows,
for there is a rainbow
aching to glow
after every storm,
and there’s far too
much to be grateful for
in this life of delirium,
so shall we allow this
winter to be the seed
of warm light and water~
      forgive the stars that
veiled their silver,
as fate turned
her back on our garden,
let memories float in
      paper boats of
          lilac feathered forgiveness,
along the river of reconciliation.

Let’s flow and flourish together,
leaving behind an aroma
so divine on
cashmere sweaters,
with unwritten poems
tucked beneath velvety pillows,
that tasted so many tears,
and have seen too many
                 vanquished fears.

Premium Member Pernicious Glimpse

Full of marketable commodities like xebec.
Waves of pure affection are slashed mercilessly.
Feelings: a sea upon which to wander carefree.
Devil swears to be a dove to trick people cursorily.

The doll dances on a string of yellow-golden hair.
It dyes its lips crimson with the blood of its lost prey.
It attracts people with its flirtatious smile and low blare.
Because of her, falls even the most religious people.

The ashes of destroyed rags cover the black eyes.
A sparkling smile covers Beelzebub's smile.
Her mistress is responsible for her spiritual slave.
A dark soul lurked deep within his radiant skin style.

Silicon's enticingly boosted slopes were xyloid-brittle.
Sword-like claws dig into the soul in sensual delight.
Obsession can be generated by female objects.
She does terrible things to helpless people fight.

The floral fantasies all turn xerophilous and prickly.
Salacious downpours became unending floods of sobs.
A terrible memory of a lost love left him feeling empty.
The reverberation of her laughing still throbs.

Salutations To Tiranga -Indian National Flag

Salutations to Tiranga (Indian National Flag)

Mother India was freed from the British shackles...
To tyranny we bid adieu, new freedom welcomed!
'Tiranga' with due honour, replaced the 'Union jack'
Fluttered in the blue sky in the glory of victory!
Orchestra of happy moods had finally arrived,
Calling for celebrations with full pomp and joy!
Our National Anthem sung and Trumphets blown
All Indians joined festivity forgetting all woes!
Adding wings to this happiness,the Tricolour fluttered!!

Breeze of bloodbath and fetters all disappeared
Flew with resplendence this khadi splendour!
Three stripes horizontal with a central wheel
Top is the saffron for selflessness and valour,
Also marks vibrant hue of Ego absolution!
White in the middle stands for peace and purity
Also Knowledge and honesty attribute to it
The dark green in the third stripe is for faith and fertility,
Happiness and prosperity for a greener globe!
The wheel of dharma adopted from the Lion capital,
That once sung heroism of Asoka, the Emperor!
In navy blue is this wheel placed in the centre,
Progress it represents with spokes twenty-four

Ignites a spark of deep patriotism as it flutters
Wrapped around cadaver of the martyrs of this mother
Glory to Tiranga, Glory to the Nation,
World's largest democracy salutes this symbol
Let our flag soar high and keep our spirits boosted
Long live Tiranga till the sky is above!

Missing You

You filled my lungs,
When I needed oxygen,
You were my energy,
Boosted me up like Supligen,
You were my sky-scraper,
Not just a tent,
You were my mortgage,
Not just the rent,
You were my mountain,
And we stood tall,
We played lifes' music,
You kept me glad,
Now your flesh has fallen,
But you are next to God,
Right to the end,
You were my best friend,
In my heart, until we meet again....

Premium Member See This Girl

See this girl in the painting, this skinny girl
working on a puzzle at the bottom of the stairs.
With big rimmed glasses and her plain brown hair,
she’s an ordinary girl, with nothing seeming special.

Now see this girl. . . really SEE this girl.
At age 12, she’s just been fitted with new glasses -
They are black horn-rimmed - an utter disappointment
in the life of a young girl.
Some guys now call her four-eyes, and they don’t even notice
the beauty of her light green eyes and
long lush lashes behind those big-framed glasses.
But still she likes to fantasize, and in her dreams
she’s idolized by every boy she likes.

Always having wanted to be part of the “in” crowd,
she was a girl that struggled for popularity.
However, she’s been learning of another way to be!
Seeking out girls more like her, she hardly has to try
to fit in with her new friends. And now she’s much less shy.
With fun new friends, she is witty. She makes them laugh.
She’s even feeling pretty, wearing lipstick frosty pink.
She’s discovered she is smart in all her classes.
This girl who now is wearing black rimmed glasses!

She gets into the Glee Club, even sings on PBS!
With her athleticism, she also has success.
She makes Top Twelve in tryouts for cheerleading.
And though the student body does not vote her through,
she’ll soon get over it. She’s blossoming!

The glasses she will change for contact lenses,
and she does not know it yet,
but soon enough - a number of boyfriends she will get!
Also years of dance lessons and being in recitals
has boosted her self confidence.
Both her body and her spirit are transforming!

See the girl in the painting; a puzzle she assembles.
She does not know that one day
her mind will be on puzzles of a very different kind:
She will be assembling many words inside her mind,
and she will be partaking in an art called poetry.
I know all this because
the girl inside that painting - that ordinary girl -
is the one I used to be.

Based on the painting "Assembling the Pieces"
from Contemporary Figurative Artiste Stephanie Deshpande
for the Contemporary Free Rhyme Contest of Cyndi MacMillan

I hope you will see the painting at this link. When I saw the girl, I was
struck by how much it looked like me as a young girl: http://www.stephaniedeshpande.com/porfolio/

Wildflowers are uncultivated vegetation.
In forests and towns growing without cultivation.

Like most they are used in home medication.
Dandelions are nutritious and can ease pain's vexation.

Fever few staves off migraine attacks while,
Low immune is boosted by berries and chamomile.

Our bloating and gas is helped by chamomile tea,
While sore throat pain is helped with a bit of honey.

Eucalyptus oil can help make sinus pain moot.
Retaining water and PMS, try some chaste tree fruit.

Send out for a book on natural cures.
Don't poison yourself with drugs bought in stores.

I must here expound of ( the Bradbury pound ) so bear with
Me 'soupers' and even share this around..How treasury notes, can any Nation re-deem, its a ladder to exit your
Countrys debt; (thats obscene!) And your treasury's know full
Well how' debt free funds can be put' into action yet the
W E F does not want them to open that book.) How your
Green back dollers are wilting; wasting away..' So i advise you to do
Your research and get your 'emails or even letters off today'
For in Britian a barrage of such soon begins.' Call on
Your representatives to (expose the treasury's sins)
rachel reeves, in the U K, is to be called to explain' why Britian is stuck in a debt trap..It will soon be given her plain.'
And the same in America, in Australia in the world.' Why not
Recognise our debt free assets.?? Its time insanity is
Adjourned.! Or better still cancelled..Like the bi-monthly
Trips to ( Basel again in switzerland ) strange? that country
Never takes a hit !! Yet most countrys reserve bosses go
There time and again.' Where they take un-recorded instructions
( on keeping countrys in schtuk ) with impunity and rapaciousness these ( un-known ?) banksters plan raids..
Boosted by war fundings hook.. Its really that grave.' Like evil

They profit from sympathy..And plan the next scheme be

So get cracking with the emails..' and you'll finally break
Through.) Break through to financial stability and a world
Of less pain.?? Its all now.! Or never' (Or be happy with nothing )
Just let that sink into.' our brains.)

                             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Awakening, my soul climbs to pure bliss,
The vertex wobble, swayed by the sun's kiss.
A flame within my spirit burning bright,
For me, the scene looks same as windy sight.
Majestic peak reaches toward the sky,
Whispering life's elixir with descry.
My heart has never seen such a sweet light,
I found solace with shelter in my plight.
my soul is boosted by the sunlit lake,
serene in silver; in my eyes, thrills wake.
A serene gold, waking thrills in my gaze,
Leaves are retained by trees, and limbs arise.
Bewitched by its gathered emerald cloud,
My spirit soars to peaceful heaven shroud.
All Aboard::
It’s time to board the Aircraft Carrier
You are welcome to step inside
Flying like a nitrous boosted harrier
That’s zooming down a greased up slide
The destroyer lurks on the horizon
We ready the poetic torpedo
In time for our dramatic liaison
Which will increase our verbal libido
I hope you look forward to reading our works
To bask in our poetic manner
Our ponderings have already irked
But our syntax is strong like an angry Bruce Banner
We will not be silenced by the Soup
We will stand tall to carry Aircraft
We will sometimes fly a loop-the-loop
We will poke you with our poetic shaft
Neverland Over Wonderland
To the moon, Alice,
to one of the many moons…
Forget the rabbit hole for once
let’s go in a different direction,
to lands beyond imagination
Take my hand, Alice,
hold on to mine, and never let go…
Trust me as we leave reality
we’ll take that next turn to the right,
and race towards sunlight
Toss caution to the wind, Alice,
live carefree like a child would…
Cut off those ropes and hooks that bind you
don’t be scared of your own shadow,
rather, dance with it like there’s no tomorrow
Tap into laughter again, Alice,
so that fairies can frolic to its melodies…
Remember how good it feels
Cheshire cat grins—those come and go,
 but laughter lives in hearts you know
Think not of time, Alice,
escape with me where dreams are born…
Step off that cliff towards uncertainty
just fly away, boosted by happiness,
embracing adventure and silliness
To the moon, Alice,
across and over it, to the land of Never
You’ve been to the land of Wonder
and learned to grow up, but I have to say,
sometimes going back to the start shows the right way…
Premium Member Al At the Locale
There was a red bauble named Al
He feasted on mead and Halal
He got hooked on a tree
Got nice comments for free
Which boosted his pride and morale.
Somebody the door opened wide
The wind gushed inside like the tide
Gosh! Poor Al hit the ground
And saw stars all around
He lost his decorum and pride.
All In a Name
William Spencer Montague Sprat
(why on earth they called him that)
lived a life of luxury
suited to autocracy.
T'was true that Lady Sprat his mum
with a true Lord had had her fun
and bore  a son of noble blood
as any Lord and Lady should.
But alas our Lady Sprat
had acted like a little prat
for she was not betrothed to he
that boosted up her family tree.
This Lord was married to another
(chosen by his own sweet mother)
and though his Lady had fair grace
she couldn't keep his randy pace.
So poor young William S M Sprat
was not pure blood and more than that,
the Lord he thought was his dear dad
didn't know that he'd been had.
But Lady Sprat, she knew her game
and even gave her son that name
although it made him sound a prat
it gave him heritage of Sprat.
So if your name puts you to shame
although your parents are to blame
don't be a prat,  just bear the pain
remember Sprat and don't complain!
Premium Member Another's Dream
Remember the goodnight kisses,
The soft arms that held you tightly,
The sweet words that taught you.
Remember the encouragement,
The aspirations that were cheered on,
The inspiration that was reassured.
Remember the sound of a voice,
The one who would always share,
The first one to show you they care.
Remember the words that calmed,
The assistance to keep moving on,
The provision for growing strong.
Remember the one who gave it all,
The hopes, the dreams, the goals,
All that boosted your resolution.
Remember the brilliance, the brainstorm,
The suggestions to become all you could be,
The faith and confidence that came for free.
Remember the honor and distinction,
The self-esteem that was stimulated,
The joy, hope and peace that came to be.
Because, my dear one, you will see...
All that you are and all that you will be…
Are parts and pieces of another’s belief!!!
The Fairy's Pond
It's the reality of the times we're living in...
that no child believes in fairy tales except for Lyn
who didn't grow up too fast in the age of technology;
perhaps she and the Baby Boomers still seek that Fairy.
On the outskirts of town, there was a lovely pond
where Lynn met the beautiful Fairy towards  dusk
when the bright sun rays mixed with her glowing dust...
until it turned into thousands butterflies that flew around!
One early evening the beautiful Fairy didn't come and Lynn thought she was sick,
and was about to leave the bench holding back her the flow of tears...
when suddenly she appeared over the pond in her stunning blue dress made of silk,
" Turn around, child..I have a few minutes left to listen to your dreams! "
" I'm glad that you came, Fairy...I told other children about your magical powers,
but they don't believe in them because they read them in those fairy tales! "
Lynn replied with a sad glow in her pretty eyes. " If only one believes them,
I grant them all their wishes....don't you still believe in the magic I perform? "
Lyn glanced at her and whispered as if she had little confidence in her friends,
" I certainly do, Fairy and I'll try to convince them..will they make fun of me? "
But the fairy boosted her confidence by speaking positive, confident words,
" Tell them that seeing is believing and they will come! They must believe in me! "
