Another's Dream
Remember the goodnight kisses,
The soft arms that held you tightly,
The sweet words that taught you.
Remember the encouragement,
The aspirations that were cheered on,
The inspiration that was reassured.
Remember the sound of a voice,
The one who would always share,
The first one to show you they care.
Remember the words that calmed,
The assistance to keep moving on,
The provision for growing strong.
Remember the one who gave it all,
The hopes, the dreams, the goals,
All that boosted your resolution.
Remember the brilliance, the brainstorm,
The suggestions to become all you could be,
The faith and confidence that came for free.
Remember the honor and distinction,
The self-esteem that was stimulated,
The joy, hope and peace that came to be.
Because, my dear one, you will see...
All that you are and all that you will be…
Are parts and pieces of another’s belief!!!
