Blackmail

(This is a fictional poem)

I have a bullet in my chest and I'm about to die.
I saw a man kill his wife and I decided to blackmail the guy.
I'm really scared, I didn't count on getting shot.
I asked him for a quarter of a million but a bullet was what I got.

I should've called the police and turned him in.
Now I'll never be able to make love or even see a sunrise again.
He just drove away and the time I have left is getting shorter and shorter.
He will be brought to justice because I just named him as my killer on my tape
recorder.

Emotional blackmail
Rejection unveiled
Manipulative plan
To get what they can
Absorbed in their needs
Their own ego’s to feed

Blackmail In Utopia

Two faithful souls stand listless in the great big tower
overlooking the stranded city that once stood tall
yearning for a quiet place to lay their heads
while far beyond the deserted land
a soft blue light gleams gracefully above tranquil skies,
dancing shadows rocking to midnight tunes,
and sweet melodies echoing from the gigantic moon.

She spans more than a thousand feet long soaking
up the exhausted earth, her immeasurable depths
cuts and carve through valleys and streams
with clear blue water and powdery white sand
what more could you ask for on that distant land.
They have been planning this trip for many years,
but when the time draws near their saving disappears.

An empty refrigerator with two trays of frozen ice
lean against the corner of the kitchen
in their ten bedroom mansion
and a bare pantry exposing a slice of mildew bread
filled with little mice nibbling and playing tug of war.

Not many people knew their story
they have been broke for twenty years
but lived a painful lie, cutting corners
making back door transaction,
eating lamb and turkey from profits
made from sordid deals.

Their empire that once stood tall hangs in dismay
While it watches the world going up in flame
by those who continue to play treacherous games.

Sobibor and Hiroshima horrors of the past
Should have cleared the way for a more sophisticated path
But now athoroughfare mixed with complexity
packed with insidiousness
have ducks walking around
quacking without wings or tails

They finally got an offer to go to Utopia.
with packed bags not a penny in their name,
they set off for Utopia hoping to find a new life again
but when they got their it was the same old begrimed game.

Their entire world has been shaken,
shaken by its own guilt and self-reproach,
the transgression that their ancestors have borne
have been handed down for generations to shoulder

A land that they believe was pure and holy
has turned into nightmare and horror
dreadful things dismount in dark corners
women raped strangers abused
yet religion forms the core of the throne

They have witnessed empires toppled,
Kingdoms have fallen in their sight
Rulers have shaken and wept bitterly
causing the great big god to balance the scale
but blackmail in Utopia remains a formidable game

Blackmail

he’s been with her for 4 years,
having knocked her up the first night
they did the deed &
she had 2 kids by 2 other fathers
prior to that hot & steamy
moment,
some time after work
where they had met each other---
and the father of the second daughter
was still stalking her &
they thought the kid might be his
& a whole load of drama
ensued.

when the dust cleared,
the kid was that of the new
acquaintance &
what followed was a traditional father
staying with his kid,
even though love had not entered the
arena yet.

he was 10 years younger &
unappreciative of her,
cheating on her early &
never telling her,
then sliding it into conversation,
later, when he thought the coast was
clear.

father has a daughter but he wants a
son---
he wants a son from the same mother & yet
she does not want to go through the whole
bottle & diaper routine
one
more
time---
so, he decides to withhold sex from her &
she is in her
prime---
he decides to withhold sex &
gets her two daughters from the other fathers
walk around the house day in & day out
commenting on how they want a brother,
as if to influence their mother who does not
want this---
but she feels that if she doesn’t give him what he
wants,
that the problems evident in their relationship
will not stop,
not to mention the fact that they may never
have sex again.

she sacrifices herself,
giving up her own wants & needs
to make him happy
(as if another kid is some kind of
magical antidote),
fully aware that she may not even have a
son
(so does that mean she is supposed to keep on
popping them out until she does?)---
she is being
blackmailed.

Grain, oil and gas from Russia; we must find other ways
To ensure that the unhinged war criminal, Vladimar Putin pays
They want sanctions lifted and they'll free up grain from Ukraine
Seems like the sanctions are at last working and inflicting pain.

Many poorer countries in the world rely on the exported grains
But it's stuck in ports because of mines, in the shipping lanes
The whole civilised world, and the United nations need to act
Or people in poor countries will die of hunger, and that is a fact.

Vladimar Putins empty threat is nothing more than a lie
He tells the west to jump up and the west asks how high
The west's response to Vlad Putin needs to move up a gear
Or he and his cronies will be thinking, we're cowering in fear.

I urge the civilised world leaders to send weapons at any cost
Or the Ukrainians will be overrun and their territory lost
Zelensky is pleading for long range rockets, to defend his land
To help drive out the invaders and give Ukraine the upper hand.

Russia is desperately recruiting men at home, to join their army
And have upped the age limit to enlist, to claim some sort of victory
Pensioners with guns you'll soon see who are ready to croak
The once thought invincible Russian army, is nothing but a joke.

I hope you turn magenta and hyperventilate
over the lines I wrote for you.
They’re delightfully exotic
and delectably erotic,
and I swear, I only mention
your name a time or two.

War reprehensible war, with such connotations as I abhor'
Also the agents of its inception; on them be complete rejection'
Those that sow unrest, within the people's breast; bones of contention'
Sedition, false invention. Subversion seeping ; lost leaders no connection.'
The running sore of bribery; the massaging of anxiety division in society
Renewed other buzzwords, mind you.' Or perhaps you've given up?
Feel it's all just too much? As a weight bearing heavy that holds you as such
At night it awakes you, tries to mentally break you; in small inroads too
Each day requesting more dues' asked to live inside out? Helps to help'
Leading to who would Know where? Perhaps it's worth to still care?
Ignore the smiling doomsayers the convinnial conniving ritual makers
The encourages of pot banging, and various noise also hooting clanging
A paganistic bent, driving evil spirits away? In this enlightened age?
I see the dark of night; in this mess; this depressive plight'
It's been a psyops move in muted light, a relentless sicko driven fight
Yet hold the line, defend and rightly, speak out on the fear insighfully.'

Attention Feed 2

A blank finality now invades a friends eyes
you cannot argue with that can you

A choice so psychotic and so manipulative
it’s emotional blackmail so impinged
the attention feed so subtly to its duty
and all eyes are turned
all thoughts in a detour are returned

What about me
me, me, me, me
is the logical end to the attention feed

By now the final card is laid
the gamble of sickness has been played
and over the edge one final shove
or a trip on the shoe strings left intentionally undone
and to the free fall, must it fall
and everyone must pay attention

It is impossible to win this game
the outcome in tears is always the same

Frenetic, frantic dashed to the wall
the mortar and bricks of who is to blame for it all
all the stress of helping
all the stress of caring
and take no pleasure from it at all
but die from worry
not concerned about me
me, me, me, me, me
is the logical end to the attention feed

Something else to cease upon
something desperation can depend upon
another faculty
another drama
another way to feed of off the attention

It is not space but escape
the bilious hooks so dependently crave
and without their target
only themselves to save
only themselves left to seethe
and only themselves left to roll in the broil
of the attention feed

A blank finality now invades a friends eyes
you cannot argue with this can you

The Joys of Blackmail

I wondered what you saw in my sweet Eve;
Love, I did not see in your charming spouse.

Last night sat on my head to spit venom;
Claimed you were good for nothing; down under.
Beggar and a coward, just a crawler:
Obedient pet to my lady divine:

Sure? you ever heard Eve's love torturers,
Naked her touch burns you in her temptation;
Fermenting desire you cannot fulfill.
DNA's don't match so vanish or chill out now.

Apple a day direct from our knowledge tree:
Rare snake's auction? will ensure my net deal;
In a big mansion Eve will live and love
Earning from your oriental display skills:

The original snake of Eden fame?
Get you a nasty black she cobra mate?
You trembling to her fiery kiss of fire;
She spanking you to belly dance for her?
Begging alms on pavements of Mumbai:

Forget the canvas or oil in colors
Don't move or I ship you to the far east:

The Misnamed Would Quarrel

They began to quarrel,
After he heard ‘Squirrel!’
Instead of Stan Scammel
And he called him ‘Rommel’:
“The Not-Strong Enamel”
Who could Hitler blackmail
While it was ‘Same Barrel!’

Then, they stopped The Quarrel,
When he heard ‘Becquerel’
A Laureate with a Laurel …

Quarrels from Nicknaming:
A Purposed Misnaming!
Who would such start claiming:
A hateful Misnomer;
KGB’s Informer
For OGB Omar …
