What Billion Drops Make

WHAT BILLION DROPS MAKE
The ocean is made of what Nothing but the splintered heart Of cloud in billion drops of water One making the other bigger Fused in blue vastness they soar Riding waves they crash on shore. The life is made of what Nothing but the molten heart Gleaming in billion drops of tear Joy and grief in tandem they bear Welded in welling emotions they flow The toils of life in them melt slow. You are made of what Nothing but sun’s sparkling dust Flashing on billion drops of dew As jewels on grass of morning meadow Convey the tender feelings frayed Your fear of fading away remains unsaid.
