Best Baileys Poems
Standing there wearing
Baileys holding a Glass
of Cognac I notice your
time piece Kremlin findings
as you calmly approached
my shyness I recognised
the untimely gesture leaving
my quarters knowing full
well beruit was near you
offered yourself with no
strings an yet bombs sounded
throughout the night time
air I was taken an yet
startled King we were taken
to stone slabs draped with
teal fabric peppermint oils
garments of silk I wore you
into the night while we
cringed with fright the town
emptied the tower tumbled
I kelp yours smile in view
as your body crumbled into
the rumble of yesterday I
awakened to the sound of
the sun rising in the east
as I returned to blood
soaked carnage absent
from heaven remembering
only your touch your warmth
your illuminated essence burning
my soul whispering dasvidanyia
from Russia with love

Absolut a total blackout
Baileys a trifle sweet with a big kick
Courvoisier won't make you an expert
Drams of spirits to up lift you
Echelon for wining and dining
Fireball wow that was hot
Gin maybe a Sloe to help you sleep
Hpnotic will have you in a trance
Irish Car Bomb most explosive
Jack Daniels a old favourite
Kamikaze is hot so watch out
Lady Godiva drink it but remember to dress
Margaritas make your head spin
Negroni phew this one's hot enough to blow you up
****** only not too many or you will pass out
Panther a real sleek subtle drink
Quarter Deck don't fall off
Royce just don't forget the Rolls
Sake Bomb puts hairs on your chest
Tequila make mine a sunrise
UFO just don't get carried away
Vampire too many you will have nightmares
Wolfram creeps up on you keep a lookout
Xeres Cocktail a treat for goddess's
Yorsh too many you won't get home
Zombie over indulge its walking dead you will be

'Round three in the morning I wake
to see that it's time for my break.
I can hardly wait
to keep my sweet date-
I bounce out of bed and then take
my flashlight with me to the fridge
to bring Irish creme- just a smidge-
to my special place,
a real quiet space
where I and my date can abridge
the writes that I worked on that day.
And so, with my Muse and her stay,
with sips of our drink,
we each share a wink
and fine-tune my words right away.
An hour or so and we're done;
I'm bleary, but still, it was fun!
That sweet Irish creme
had sharpened my beam!
Now back to my sleep till the sun.
So this is the vice that I love-
which I find so hard to rid of.
This 'amphetamine'
to thoughts, adds a sheen-
me, Baileys, and Muse up above!

LET'S CHARTER A YACHT AND GO WHERE IT'S HOT
AND PEOPLE ARE NOT IN THE WAY
WE'LL START OFF IN GREECE WITH CHAMPAGNE AND CASIS
THEN SAIL UP TO NICE, ST. TROPEZ
AND IF MISTRAL SHOULD BLOW WE'LL JUST GO BELOW
AND DO WHAT'S APPROPOS BELOW DECK
THEN DINGHY ASHORE OR WINDSURF SOME MORE
MAYBE SCUBA TILL FOUR ON A WRECK
WE'LL SINK WITH THE SUN INTO AFT CABIN FUN
HAVE DINNER AT ONE NEATH THE STARS
THE HAMMOCK IS NICE WITH BAILEYS ON ICE
WILL A REMY SUFFICE? IS THAT MARS?
HIT THE DISCOS AT TWO WITH THE CAPTAIN AND CREW
AND DO SHOTS, LOCAL BREW, THEN WE'LL DANCE
AND SWEAT CHEEK TO CHEEK TILL THE SUN TAKES A PEAK
AND SLEEP LAYS US DOWN IN IT'S TRANCE
MALTA, IBIZA, MAJORCA, MINORCA
CUETA, CUBRERA, FORMENTERA
LET'S RISE ABOUT NOON IF THAT'S NOT TOO SOON
SOMETHING SOFT, CLAIRE DE LUNE, THEN A BATH
WE'LL GET SKIN TO SKIN, BUBBLES UP TO OUR CHIN
WITH A PERMANENT GRIN, WHAT A LAUGH
THEN AFTER WE'RE FED WITH MIMOSAS IN BED
AND A TOAST TO THE MED UDERWAY
IT'S TIME I BELIEVE TO HAVE YOU CONCIEVE
ON AN ISLAND THAT ENDS IN AN A
MALTA, IBIZA, MAJORCA, MINORCA
CUETA, CUBRERA, FORMENTERA
SHOULD IT BE A BORE, A MEDITERREAN SHORE
AND WE DON'T FEEL LIKE MORE OF THE SAME
WE'LL HAVE TO TAKE HEART AND FLY TO ST. BARTS
AND PLAY THE CARIBBEAN GAME
BARBUDA, ANTIGUA, SABA, ANGUILLA
ST. LUCIA, CULEBRA, DOMINICA
GRENADA, TORTOLLA, ESPANIOLA
CUBA CULEBRA ANGUILLA
LETS CHARTER A YACHT AND GO WHERE IT'S HOT
AND PEOPLE ARE NOT IN THE WAY
CAUSE IT'S TIME I BELIEVE TO HAVE YOU CONCIEVE
ON AN ISLAND THAT ENDS IN AN A

The smell of dark coffee brews in early morn
Such a treat to wake up to, when I’m groggy and worn
I’m not fond of fancy frothy coffee shop brews
None of them will really do
Unless you pour a spot of Irish cream to fire ups the horn
When my girlfriend Susie would come over to stew
I always put on a fresh pot of dark roasted coffee to brew
I have always been a softy when giving her a caring shoulder
We enjoyed the bliss of coffee and Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
to make us bolder.
Friendship with laughter is a treasure with a sip of coffee will always do
When I was young,
Mommy would sometimes wake up looking like a fuddled zombie,
But
As soon as she’d have her first cup of sugary with cream coffee
She’d be our mommy again cooking us something good for our tummies.

My Home Is No Fortress
Speechless thoughts flow out as words when the drawbridge is upended
From turrets they wind down and spiral into a stream of consciousness
Gently wind to and fro processions of images narratives a dreamy river
Drought happens as I resort to the keep when beleaguered by onslaught
of foes breaking barbicans collapsing foreign walls in the most barbarian way
Crowded rampage seizes ramparts and bulwarks of my own defences
Baileys and mounts scream battle cries of injustice injured in ignorance
Thus I decide there’s no longer a need for arrow loops since my truths
reject the heart ache of anger and would much rather be conquered by love
I conclude therefore to raise spiky stakes portcullises and misconceptions
and suppose that it is not me who built their house on evaporation and sand
When my thoughts slide up and down buttresses and find their words
vulnerable projections dissolve and my home is once more a wide open space

In order to save myself from
drowning in my own feces,
I purge myself each day,
so the crap I call my life,
would not hamper me in any way.
Reality is something
I got to learn to face.
I’m no cowardice!
I love challenges!
But sometimes getting up
and reaching for the door knob
is the biggest challenge, I face
each day.
I may sound like I’m cowardice…
But think about it…
Pollution, carjacking, kidnapping, gang rape, low-pay, obnoxious co-worker, rude clients,
terrorist, racist, child ***********, human-trafficking, corruption, politicians…Dead!
I wouldn’t turn the knob today…
I’ll call in sick!
I’ll relax today…
If I do that,
I’ll miss…
Partying till dawn, getting drunk and hitting on the guy I’m too shy to speak too, baileys, sex
in the back seat of a car, orbit white bubble mint, using the internet service at work, using
office hours for my personal leisure, spying on the boss and his latest fling…
I can go,
on and on…
Good thing… this life I’m living…!
So tell me, if you can!
Why I still feel like
I’m drowning in my own feces.

~~~ The 'Smoothies' Diet ~~~
I've discovered the joys of 'smoothies' as a diet
and if you're counting calories, you just might want to try it.
Start with milk and ice and water and whatever you may bring.
With mine, I add a little something ... just to give it zing.
To my strawberry smoothies a little Baja Rosa I add.
That extra touch of flavour is guaranteed to make you glad.
To a pineapple smoothie I find it needs a little something with kick
so a couple of ounces of tequila seems to do the trick.
Mocha latte smoothies are just instant coffee, milk and ice.
So add a little vanilla and some Baileys to make it nice.
Yes, this smoothies diet is great and its healthy to boot
and even if I don't lose any weight, ... I really don't give a hoot.
One more, well maybe three
Baileys, Bushmills and Irish Mist
Equal amounts and neat please
This year is in desperate need of a good ending
What? y'routta Bushmills!
Jamesons fine or as a last resort
A single malt scotch
anything else and we're gonna be needin' ice
It's time to shovel again?
Well put mine halfway down the driveway
And pour me another
Unless this is a blizzard
We got 'er covered
Dramatic Monologue
Three months ago, I never had any thoughts
About, love, loving someone, or being in love,
They say a good love is one that sits you down, gives you a drink of water, and pats you on top of the head. But I say a good love is one that casts you into the wind, sets you ablaze, makes you burn through the skies and ignite the night like a phoenix; the kind that cuts you loose like a wildfire and you can't stop running simply because you keep on burning everything that you touch! I say that's a good love; one that burns and flies, and you run with it!”
? C. JoyBell C.
If I was to tell you that I saw a rose blooming in the heart of winter
No one would believe me, that love struggling to stay afloat.
Perhaps, the rose is here to remind us, of something, we’ve have forgotten
During the summer's months, (like did we stop and smell the roses)? Such cliché indeed)
I never thought of the rose, until two days ago, when I told my friend about
That single rose I uses to get ever 6th of the month:
That too had stopped when our love for each other was dying like the rose:
However, the memory is still here, did I appreciated the rose gestures on the months
Yes, I did, I felt love, I felt the warmth inside.
It seems like I am going to be alone once again for Christmas
But I will think of that single rose,
I will drink my eggnog, and baileys Irish Cream
But will not bake my goose, but I will relive
Past memories, my mistletoe kiss will have to wait,
And disguise my disappointment like a true trooper:
Laughter brings many positive qualities into the world and into human relationships.
I am now seeing, why a laugh, a smile, a body gesture
Can make a person feel so good inside,
When he smiles at me:
And it's because, I open my heart, once again:
Blank verse
The great harvest comes in once every year,
Hard men toil the earth with sweat on their brow,
Crops of baileys and hops to make the beer,
Each year on tractors the earth they must plough.
The land must be rich in nutrients first,
With the right amount of rain and sunshine,
Farmers will tell you that they are cursed,
Far easier to grow vineyards for wine.
Where would we be without beer in our glass,
No pub would be open and that's a fact,
Who wants to join in with the upper class,
I like my beer and how it makes me act.
So raise a toast to all the beer out there,
A thought to the farmers who made it fair.
Christmas style with lots of smiles
Brand new bikes for riding miles
Excited children it’s their day
New toys for making lots of play
Christmas lunch a feast to munch
Turkey, ham and pork with crackling crunch
Remember to wear your big pants
Loosen belts for a pudding and custard dance
Christmas Vacation for a laughter then
White Christmas sung by Bing remembering when
At last we settle with a Baileys drink
Another great Christmas so merry we think!
Dramatic Verse
Stayin’ up again, all nite long,
Comic book characters take me along,
On midnite rides of fun and fear,
Oh, to have free time & some cheer.
The lites are brightly burning eyes,
The SDO is on the sly,
Can’t stop now, 4 hours more,
Can’t sleep now or close the door.
Oh yeh, it’s great to count the tiles,
On and along for endless miles,
Minds going blank can’t see at all,
Whoa back buck I’m startin’ to fall.
Chessmen smile and say “Go slow”
Grasp latch and swing wide the window,
Crisp cool air comes tumbling in,
Yes, its true someday soon I’ll win.
2 a.m. and all’s going well,
Think I'll sit and rest a spell,
Bill Baileys on to cheer me up!
But all I know is this place sucks!
“Sign that Roster, give me your card!”
The pig shouts out, man is he hard.
I sit and smile and dream and gaze,
I’m now down to 9 more days….
Rhyme
Written to be sung to the tune of
"Just A Spoonful of Sugar" from Mary Poppins)
With each new day, there's work to do
But so much joy within it too
Seek out those moments, when
Work turns to fun
As all those tasks you soon complete
Brings happiness, your treat
Sit back! All done! Put up your feet- see how
A cupful of Baileys helps your stress to fade away
Your stress to fade away, yay
Your stress to fade away
Just a cupful of Baileys helps your stress to fade away
In a very soothing way
And whether you work in or out
It matters not what it's about
To use your brain or brawn to do the task
You can be happy with each chore
Especially when there's no more,
Your sweet reward and rest will come by soon - then
A cupful of Baileys helps your stress to fade away
Your stress to fade away, yay
Your stress to fade away!
Just a cupful of Baileys helps your stress to fade away
In a very soothing way!
