shall I dwell
           in the palette of extreme
     where canons lounge unchallenged
           indulging parroted truths
                   of rigid dogma
                      or maybe

                       the grey
           sublime in its centrist hue
let me struggle with dangerous assertions
in the crucible of original thought
            birthing new epiphanies
       unmoored from the status quo
         drifting purposely between
                  black and white

Premium Member Tell Me, Who Do You Say That I Am

You’re my everything, my LORD AND my GOD.
Meanwhile, I claim no new answer
since I have learned, and am knowing WHO YOU ARE intimately
by my personal relationship with YOU through Scriptures’ assertions.
Indeed, YOU are the:

Alpha and Omega upholding me throughout eternity
Bread of life, blessing me with gracious bounty…

Christ Who’s the chief cornerstone of the church I belong
Deliverer and defender, enabling me to be strong…

Emmanuel Whose presence beautifies my essence
Faith-Author letting my trust-story glow with sublime iridescence…

Guardian, protecting my soul around regeneration seal
Holy One, imparting to me divine nature I can’t conceal…

Instructor, constantly exhorting me to obey commandments
Judge, always forgiving toward righteous engagements…

King Who deserves my service to the utmost
Lover so faithful beyond my fidelity’s cost…

Mediator I cling to for His spiritual advocate-role
Nourisher of my being, nurtured for heavenly goal…

Omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent Sovereign
Peace Source enriching me with reconciliation serenity-gain…

Quickening me toward born-again genuine revival
Redeemer ensuring my resurrection-upheaval…

Saviour Whose Shepherd-satisfaction suffices me verily
Teacher guiding my steps along His truth certainly…

Ultimate reason of my meaningful existence-zest
Victory causing every triumphant best, so blest…

Wonderful Counselor I seek against angst and doubt
Xenial in dealing with me around fellowship route

Yokefellow Who bears my load in discipleship-partnership…
Zealous leader I yield myself to in jubilant worship.

Indeed, You’re my everything, my LORD AND my GOD.
Without You, I am nothing. Thank You very much for loving me.
I love You, too. By Your grace, I live for You*
while ministering to others in Your name.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Not Like the Rest

Let me slip into the crevices of your mind
Implant myself within your memories
I want to experience your thought
process see how well defined
Curious as I express I’d have no regrets
I’d follow your memories back in time
To know you better those memories I’d climb
Wanting to know what made you “YOU”
Struggles you’ve overcome and all that you do
Past loves, friendships, pains, through
the process that determined it was
this person here that
would grace me
last soul searching decisions how you express,
your burdens, assertions, decisions you faced,
what gave you that WOW factor
I want to know you inside and out,
 feel what you felt
I need to show you I won’t hide,
 nor have any doubt
To reveal how you make me melt....
babe I want to know you so deep,
more than anyone else
So we can grow, weep, have fun,
see what cards your life dealt....
I want to know you and love you....
give you my best
Because my love
I must confess
you aren’t like the rest...

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR MULTIPLYING HIS GRACE AND PEACE UNTO US

December 22 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Peter 1-3

Key Verse – 2Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR MULTIPLYING
HIS GRACE AND PEACE UNTO US

Praise be to God for multiplying His grace and
peace unto us as He:
Develops our character
Deepens our commitment
Disciplines our courageous cause
Drives us by His calling for consecration
Directs our Christlikeness’ compassion-care

2Peter 2:9 Praise be to the Lord for
delivering us out of:
Trials through His truth
Testing by His teachings
Turmoil along His training
Terror for our thanksgiving
Tricks upon His trustworthiness
Temptations toward His triumph
Tribulations for testimony’s tenacity

2Peter 3:18 Praise be to the Saviour for allowing us
to grow in His grace as we:
Abide in His assurance
Adore Him by His approval
Attend to His authentic affirming
Abound in His assertions’ affluence
Awake to His assistance along our accountability. Amen!

Whats going on with Russell Brand? Over six million
Followers have penchant, he was once a man i did
Not admire..Yet over two years it has transpired Brand
Has burnt a brand, a searing line through mainstream
Medias fervid minds, though they'll rant and pant and
Roll the dice..Its not about whether Brant is nice.'
We know his past of women and wild, nights and drugs
And other vice.' Yet then no problems all was well, of no
Rape assertions did the media tell, no police statements
No interest true.' So like Julian Asange whats the real
To-do.? There's lots about Letby and some hospital dead?
Babies sadly we've read thats mainstream, covered.' They've
 fired
Real heavy lead.'
And yet the number of wounded and dead, from jabbing
With m n r a..? Well they've seldom said.' Its mainly the
Green gods agenda they speil.' They feed out a line to
The people and then they reel' not as in real! You may
Understand, and genocide is just a word.' Do they have
It banned.? Not among the balanced sensible folk but
Among the zany, menageri of the most uncouth woke.'

Dystopian Reality

Shattered bottled up dreams
strewn in callous fashion,
litter those Tobacco roads
of man-made poverty
Cancerous amorality
is the accepted dystopian reality
Majority rule by the metal ballot law ...
second finger got a gun pressed to the jaw
Diablo destiny decree:
Dos digital corrects any uno analog flaw
This warped sensibility
is the venal logic served pucker raw
A lot of lip sizzle buttery undercooked,
a lot of dead bang thievery overlooked
Ash fault neglect
is heaped on the next generation
of social experimentation
Petri dish promises
are furtive cloned assertions
Silky slick politricking on the wifi
(why fi-nance poor citizens’ aspirations)
is a web of deceit ...
tax-deductible alm desertion
Roll the lively military drums,
let the drones deliver
a hollow incoming death hum
Victory is counted as being “less of,”
cull the bottom feeders of a wolfbane society —
This is the favorite poison ivy scheme
of the power pyramid builders:
Soulless architects
erecting a crooked obelisk dystopian reality
And this fractured,
motion picture reel nightmare
still ain’t murky half as bad as it’s gonna be

Nothing

This world is a bewitching illusion
The spring, the fragrant flowers, the chirping birds
The waterfalls, the sky, the valleys, the clouds
Are nothing real but delusion.

The gigantic snow clad mountains and fathomless seas
Are what is called optical illusion
Our eyes are so designed to see things in nothingness

The moon, the sun, the stars we see are nothing
Beauty, colors, lights and shade are nothing
Peacocks, swans, cypress trees and nightingale are nothing

The feats of our fabulous inventions are all fake
The skyscrapers, trains, cars, airplanes and ships are nothing
The super Markets filled with luxury goods are of no avail
The motorways, the subways, airports and runways are nothing

Dreams, wishes, desires, ambitions, hopes and aspirations
Success, achievements, satisfaction and fulfillment
Are only heartwarming assertions

Youth, beauty, seductiveness and glamour are nothing
The love binding you and me together is a mirage
Kindness, sympathy and benevolence are nothing

Why do we have unending lust for this world?
Beauty, elegance and allurement of this world is nothing

Erik Erikson
described U.S. culture
as stuck in adolescence,
and a more feminist Erika Fromm,
or Erik Erikson,
might have added
Nationalistically stuck in patriarchal adolescence.

Yet in the normal course of biological events,
and spiritual evolutions,
each life,
individual and cultural,
unfolds a rudder.

Each rudder has a Tipping Point,
acting like a pre-deductive
adolescent-curious
rudder,
manipulated by a health-intending navigator,
like the pre-ramp lip
on a wheelchair ramp,
inviting a more cooperative initial push
     or final descent
in helpful on and off directions,
left and right,
up and down,
in and out,
back and forth,
Yang ecological economic maturity
with Yintegrative adolescent revolutionary politics,
nondual faces of one co-directing intention
toward recognizing limitations
and liabilities
of competitive adolescent behaviors
too patriarchal LeftBrain dominant for fully mature unfolding,
while also appreciating more cooperatively slow
and steadier
eco-flowing assertions
to politically co-enfranchise matriarchal RightBrain
integrity of improved developments
of and for Tipping Point maturation.

Chorus:
             Barack Obama
             Barack Obama
He's the U.S.A.'s own Dalai Lama.

             Barack Obama
             Barack Obama
He's the guy who's here to save yer Momma.

Verse 1:

Oh yeah Obama's here an' he's really cool
Gonna tell yer kids to pay attention in school
Gonna make us all follow the Golden Rule
'Cause he knows Michelle ain't gonna suffer no fools!

He's an all-around, straightup nice kinda guy
Who don't get upset when ya scream "You Lie!"
He cares about the Earth and he cares about the sky
Gives ya cash for the clunkers you were stupid to buy.

Chorus

Verse 2:

He's gonna stim-u-late us, gonna spread the wealth,
Gonna write out a prescription for the nation's health,
Gonna come down on Insurance like a big black Stealth
Gonna take those stem cells down off the shelf!

He's gonna see we win in Afghanistan,
Someway, somehow - without a plan.
When yer rude to da cops he is da Man
Who'll give ya both beers an' make it right again.

Chorus

Verse 3:

He's appointed more Czars than the U.S.S.R.,
Gonna raise the mileage on yer car
Gonna lower those emissions both near and far
It lookin' snappy like a First Exec Star.

Can't answer "yes" or "no", it takes a paragraph
To get to the point, then it's good for a laugh
The Right hates everybody servin' on his Staff
- But their side of the Aisle makes most of the gaffes.

Chorus

Verse 4:

Is there anything Obamaman cannot do?
The assertions are fantastic; some may even be true.
He beat out Mrs. Clinton right outta da blue,
Now he's lookin' out for me and he's lookin' out for you.

If his ears were any bigger he could teach himself to fly,
But despite his geekiness he's still a heckuva guy
His heart is fulla Hope, his head is in the sky
An' if you give him grief Ms. Pelosi'll make you cry.

                                   WORD!

Chorus et finis

Reining in jet-black steed;
Rangle for her falcon.
Repugnant mudslinging,
Risible in content,
Rankled those in the know.
Recent loss of soulmate;
Ravens smudge the teal sky.
____________________________________________________
GLOSSARY
Queen Elizabeth II had a good seat, and her love of horses is well documented. [Edited]
Throughout the ages, falconry has been considered the sport of kings. In falconry, ‘rangle’ is a term used for small stones which are fed to hawks to aid in digestion.
The exposé led by her grandson, Prince Harry, had divided a nation—a number of assertions made, have been proven to be false.
Queen Elizabeth II lost her husband on 9 April 2021, whom she had viewed as her soulmate.
A group of at least six captive ravens are resident at the Tower of London. Their presence is traditionally believed to protect The Crown and the Tower; a superstition holds that "if the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it."

Cowards die many times before their deaths…
Julius Caesar, Act II, Scene 2 ~William Shakespeare

spouse
a souse
classic grouse
a big girl's blouse

portent ominous
assertions blasphemous
obscure and anonymous

his skulking is nefarious
utterances acrimonious
and implicature often dubious

uxorious but still pusillanimous
**********************************

An example of a rhopalic verse.
Rhopalism: A rhopalic sentence is one in which each successive word is one letter longer than the previous one. In poetry: where each word is one syllable more, or it might increase each line in a stanza by one syllable (per my example), or a metric foot.

IN THE SAME CATEGORY OF CONSTRAINED WRITING
The Rhopalic Couplet, also called Wedge Verse, was first used by Homer in the Iliad (3.182). It is a poetic unit of 2 rhopalic lines where each word progresses adding one more syllable than the preceding word in the line, for example, 1, 2, 3, 4 … syllables. The sequence of the syllable count can be identical in the second line, or it may be reversed. The couplet does not need not rhyme.
_____________________________________________________________

In The Coward, stanzas are broken up along the syllables of the end rhymes: spouse, souse, grouse, blouse; om-i-nous, blas-phe-mous, a-non-y-mous; ne-far-i-ous, ac-ri-mo-ni-ous, du-bi-ous & pu-sil-lan-i-mous.

LEXICON
acrimonious: (adj) (typically of speech or discussion) angry and bitter.
a big girl’s blouse: British idiom, meaning someone is ineffectual or weak; someone failing to show masculine strength of determination
disposition: (n.) inherent characteristics.
grouse: (n.) one who complains constantly.
implicature: (n.)* the action of implying a meaning beyond the literal sense of what is explicitly stated, for example, saying the picture frame is nice and implying I don’t like the picture.
innate: (n.) inborn, natural
nefarious: (adj) (typically of an action or activity) wicked or criminal.
portent: (n.)
1. a sign or warning that a momentous or calamitous event is likely to happen, an omen.
2. (literary) an exceptional or wonderful person or thing. [‘What portent can be greater than a pious notary.’]
pusillanimous: (adj) showing a lack of courage or determination; timid.
souse: (n.) a drunkard.

Middle Finger To the Sky

in Florence, Italy,
the Museo Galileo
houses the middle finger of
Galileo Galilei---
enclosed in a glass case &
sticking upright at the sky,
it not-so-subtly signifies
the wonder that came in
insisting that the sky did not
abide by the dogmatic assertions
made in the big fat work of fiction---
instead,
following in the footsteps of
Philolaus, Heraclides Ponticus,
Aristarchus of Samos, Hypatia,
Ptolemy & Copernicus,
Mr. Galilei defended the idea that
this little rock we all reside on,
revolved around the sun &
not the other way around, as the
cunning catholic church
wanted us all to believe---
and though he was found
by the Inquisition to be
“suspect of heresy,”
forced to recant all that
he had said &
afterward was forced into house arrest
for the remainder of his day
on the condition that he would
read the psalms specific to him being a
bad little boy,
he is regarded as “the father of
modern science, physics & astronomy” &
is revered by anyone who seeks truth
through rigorous experiment &
the accumulation of evidence.

Premium Member Casting Nasturtiums

The director of the new play 'Assertions'
Held auditions for the lead female role.
To avoid any assertions of casting aspersions
He asked all hopefuls to dress as nasturtiums.
The role called for a lady so delicious and yummy
That the audience would want to gobble her up,
Like real nasturtiums with edible flowers and leaves.

The Power Within

A morning kiss touches my cheeks
So sweet and kind that no one can resist
It’s a lovely gesture, a beautiful touch
And I would cherish it.

Beyond this reach that comes to fore
May unfold its innermost call
That’s pretty sure “I love you”
And I swear without fear or shame.

Count on me dear me!
It’s etched deep down the core
And its desire for a committed search
can mirror the eyes of my faith.

I may continue moving like a boat
It follows the blow of the wind
My heart that never stops like this
refuses not to tell, the beauty and truth of myself.

Words chosen from poets and prophets
Are assertions that likewise cling to mine,
More poignant and universally felt
This avowed experience of love in me.

Nora Aunor

By George P. Lumayag
https://georgelumayag.weebly.com

The Super Snow Moon lighted our bleeding hearts,
That we’re staging the National Arts Month in February;
It reminded us to the king like the powerful wolf
Who defaced the rules of artistry
That he butted his unverified thoughts
To the heroine’s genuine and overconfident performances of art
That surpassed beyond a national badge of honor.

Aunor’s highly praised body of work inspires us
And her humble legendary origin conquers the borders
Of music, television, film and theater.

In our digital age, her extraordinary achievements
In various international film festivals crown her
As world-class actress.

Her artistic and brilliant talents exceeded the elements
Of being the National Artist,
But a thunder and lightning of judgment
Seemed like a twist from a daylight to Super Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse,
That disgraced the discretionary power of the king,
Who included undesirable factors other than artistry
And unceremoniously deleted her honor.

The resounding assertions of the noble souls
May have figuratively incarnated the national icon,
May have patriotically penned Nora Aunor’s magnificent works,
And may have glorified back the artistic contributions of a genius,
Who shall have been lionized for being...
The people’s National Artist!
