Premium Member Someone To Care

Standing at the easel of life a portrait of a man so much in love with that to tempt the mood,
unable to caress his wanton spirit when cohabiting with a spent part of life’s toxic waste,
his need to step off the world to escape its inhabitants from choking him to death,
yet somewhere deep within his sunken soul a desire,
to carve out a memorial in poetry with words now strange to him,
but words they were of love the sweet scent of flowers, sunshine and simple things like that,
yet his battle against his poison was arduous and, on the wane.

a summer’s walk purged
winter through nonchalant eyes
seasons of despair

Suddenly amongst a throng of internet poets an angel appeared,
one to care, when magically she began to chase away his need, when painting
a different picture of the world one he once knew when that he was of a child,
one he needed to be able to reach out to, when from across the curvature of the earth many
words of hope, tenderness sincerity, words of understanding and purpose.
Yet with an abruptness she gave him a choice
‘Lie down my friend’ She said ‘Defeated and die’
Or rise everyday with the perpetual sun and live, give something of yourself,
antidotes to aid those hankering down the same road you travelled,
you can build on the positivity, armed with love and care,
and with it your body your mind your soul will be cleansed.

oh will-o’-the -wisp
those that walketh in the dark
reach for the sunlight

Premium Member Poetic Rejoice

Musical notes become antidotes
Teachers become motivators of youthful hope

Symphonies become beacons from negative yoke
Musical notes dancing with poetic spoke

Wheels in the mind start yearning and turning
With praise and hope and endearments true

Reciting dreams and reciting creative desires
Making his peers expose their joyous tears

Running to better places
Knowing glory is in the effort of all smiling faces

Now hear is a young man, with goals afloat
Ignored those who tried to sink his boat

Glory sings when you see kindness ring
Not when you see little ones pretend a sting

His peers where drowned with happiness tears
Youth has its wisdom as teachers smiled in the rear

Triumph and victory all held dear

Premium Member Sense of a Woman

She’s born to nurture, love and understand,
Her puissant presence sways from gay to grand.
She needn’t scream and shout her point of view,
With calm and class She carries herself through.
Multiple roles She’s destined to achieve -
Be it career, home, a child to conceive.
Her trademark touch - tranquility and taste -
Are ample antidotes to a man’s haste.

Love, laced with patience, luminates her face,
Petals of a flower - wisdom and grace.
She may seem soft, her stem is supple yet strong,
Respect She does demand, don’t do her wrong.
Intuition is her set convention,
Beyond other gender’s comprehension.
Whether unjust or unfair She stands by,
Her Forgiveness - your prize to glorify.

Above all, She’s the matrix of desire,
The primal sense that sets the world on fire.
Subtle aroma nature couldn’t invent -
Seductive, suave and sweet - a Woman’s scent.

I Shall Rise

I SHALL RISE

Who said when you brush me aside,
I'll not gather my gusts and form a tempest of ascent?
Who said when you cast me away,
I won't spray the aroma of my breath upon your palm?
Who said when I wilt in the desert of solitude,
I'll wane before I catch a glimpse of the oasis of hope?
I'll rise, and rise from the ashes of beauty,
Filled with antidotes of cheer and fortitude.
I'll rise like wispy tendrils of heat,
With the heat of triumph and move forward.
I'll rise like a soaring eagle,
That spots prey on its peak.
I'll rise as towering as Mount Everest,
And quell my rage with the coolant of ambition as my armor.
I'll rise because your ridicule is the foundation of my rising.
I'll rise to tell Mother Nature, I'm not the mold she shaped me in.
I'll rise, 'cause rising is what can silence me.
I'll rise, 'cause the sky is not my boundary.

Eargasm

I went ghetto gold .......

I was told that when I flip this,
I'm come sicker than syphilis,
My verses come in 3's like triplets,
I drop ebonic type scriptures,

That keep your eardrumbs numb,
when my psalms roll off my tongue,
my adversaries hide & run,
as the oxygen escapes from my lungs,

I lace my poetic sermons with codeine
the mo' feinds means the mo' green I separate,
I'm a cheese head like in Green Bay
so I stay in a chedda' state[money state],

of mind frame & 1 of my prophecies,
I will rise at a high velocity,
and my thoughts'll be,
sprinkled[spoken ] far from sloppily,

when my voice is transmitted,
the pathetic get netted & shredded,
by my unsweetened poetic antidotes
see i'm sugarfree like diabetics,

Strong Faith,Family&Love's a good trinity,
and my deliveries,
during my performances or soliloquies,
will let all know this should be,
broadcasted throughout history,

I'm the vocabulary minister,
If your poetry soul's empty I'll replenish ya',
and when I'm finished
I'll stamp your inner thoughts
with the Rhyme Pedllaz signature,

And my mouthpiece unleashes verbal hand grenades,
from the block to the stage,
and the weak gets quarantined
when I deliver 1 of my spoken word plagues,

You can wipe your ears off now.

They Told Me That God Is a Liar

When man tells God’s lies
he lies to himself,
because God never lies.
 Religion, the righteous of man,
is self-inflicted,
but all deeds are seen by the all-seeing eyes.

Despise the fools,
but love their God.
Let contrite hearts bow,
and be subjected to the rules.
Tell me, who is the fool now?

A walking dead on a pulpit preaching,
Like a lying politician seeking
votes.
Minds poisoned from their antidotes.
They walk in the light,
but are devoured by the gloom of that light;
piously seeking to wrong their wrongs
 with whatever seems right.

So, they lie on God again,
and God lies …,
patiently, waiting for them to die.

Snake Oil

I heard all the anecdotes on antidotes
but I wanted my therapy done chemically
so much that, in an approximation of intoxication
my judgments blurred uncertainties with a whispered ‘allegedly’

spectacular vernacular, jailed - minus crime or credibility
capital cliches of an amateur poet, inevitably
a teenagers growing phases annotated in the vaguest of chosen but stolen phrases
regurgitated words and statements

the morbidity of authenticity that is lexicon-artistry

IF YOU PULL A LONG FACE : Part XXIV

IF you pull that long martyred face
While brake-disks hiss howl metal-doors click-clutch-cluck on railway
No Tokyo masks nor hand darts to protect the homefront populace
Breeding grounds Underground cooking love-cold soup bacteriae

If you pull that damnit I've-caught-it again long distressed face
Between fleeing Metro stations unable to turn your face away
Holding breath in terror fumigating in deadly solipsistic silence
Which year's vaccination failed to mutate and antidotes convey

If you pull that long contorted villified face
Sandwiched between leaking semen sweat coughing sonorous spray
Bacteria exploding tout azimut in jolting standing wool-crammed space
Smiles stuck in smart-phones fingers deftly messaging con-art display

If you then pull that fully-drenched long face
Face to face with guys who repress no more pent-up phlegm volley
Adding to that splash short staccato sharp poop-stench promise
Who nurses not nor lodges the germinating common denominator heir

Yet if you must pull that long innoculated face
Remember the doctor the nurse the pharmacist all give willing way
To the vast multi-national over/under the counter panacea commerce
To keep the influenza germ indoors at soaring fever pitch - Hurray !

My Shrink

Mind games with my shrink.
Only giving me seconds to think.
His or my sanity on the brink.
Telling him what he wants to hear.
So these psychotic thoughts don't interfere.
I love a profession where all you do is ask questions.
I see your obsession.
Diagnosing patients.
With the power of suggestion.
Mocking once again.
Your profession.
So continue with your notes and antidotes.
On how to fix a fairy tale gone wrong.
So incarcerate me to the nearest psych ward.
At least with the nuts I won't be bored.
Your heart is in the right place but your dealing with a head case.

A Few Antidotes

Anyone deserves the time of day.
Wave your hand to say hello.
Ciao, you are close.

Tongue and teeth fall out.
Your best defensiveness is to know why.
An olive branch you offer.
No amends found move onward.

You are as funny as a fruitcake.
Patty cake bakes a man.
See him in stance and measure him.
Assure that you utilize constructive criticism.
On the other hand, maybe he is just humorous.
Laugh when the fun overwhelms you.

A few antidotes and now I close.

Learn

There is a thought to create something new,
There is a wish to achieve grand heights;
To alleviate the pain of separation,
Find antidotes for great plights.

You surprise the creator,
You challenge your fate;
You fight for those dreams,
You keep failures away.

One day the sun shines brighter,
And you are covered in gold;
Its beauty and serenity,
Makes your successes soar.

You fly higher and higher,
The acme of victory;
You are in the news headlines,
They write you- The Cover Story.

Your confidence is so high,
That your fear is zilch;
Victory seems permanent, to you
Damage control looks squeamish.

And then the tides rise high,
The ocean dance in anger;
It makes its presence felt,
But you ignore the danger.

So nature sends tsunami,
To remind you who is the king;
To respect the power it holds,
Recall the disaster it can bring.

It happened once before,
The year was 2004
It’s come back to strike again,
The damage of 2011 is more!

Don’t you fight the nature,
Don’t you squish precious lives;
Work with nature, God’s consent
Control your greed and vice.

Think why they made those predictions,
To check your destructive sprint?
You can make it better
Only control the hara-kiri instinct.

Positives Over Negatives

Every once a while, we should let loose and let all out...
Letting off steam, it cleanses and refreshes inside out...

But in unloading our sorrows and giving off heated steam..
We might sound overly dejected and advised to see a psychiatrist. ..

Psychiatrist sounds a bit drastic as compared to a counsellor.....
Rephrase that and assume he's a highly paid counsellor...

Of course if you shop around, he can always be a she...
And her service and advice could be well worth her costly fees...

Just to put in my 2 cents worth since we're on this topic...
Of sounding off our heavy crosses and feeling over-burdened..

Guess we're not alone for life is full of challenges however you view it.....
These are problems when you look at them from another perspective..

The secret to enjoying life to the fullest is how one balances...
Straddling the fine line that separates the jolly from the melancholy...

It is an even finer line that separates the sane from acts of insanity...
There have been so many of incidents of people acting beyond human sanity...

So to be brief, and not to sound condescending at all....
Life is all about making the right choices while mucking through it all...

Count your blessings, there have been so many, even the little ones....
They are all antidotes for each negative, strike them out one by one...

For just like the law of opposites, or physics if you must know...
There is always a reaction force when there is a force...

Likewise in life, discover the positives to offset the negative ones...
After all, life is too short to be worrisome or to suffer through it all...

Leading You

Leading you!

Close your eyes let me show you the way
Not a hit movie or child's play
Let me reveal some things to you this day
Answer questions family feuds pass my days
My ways are better than yours remember
Like Rocky shot Bull winkle twinkles December
Let me change sides arrange the lyrics to your song
Sony kicked death jam with Chris bomb
Based projects sold fences with wrenches
Battled down tears with walls called truth with suspension
Called out the wanna be's
Bees with no tree flowers with stems broke back pinned in with fig leaves
Let me separate wheat from tears
Phonies with no hairs
Traces of laces lies slipped in with truth see
Listen to me I have all the antidotes
Cable with no remotes
Change traded for stock piles without notes
Who says that I am
Cap sized skillets sticking like Pam
Pressured arteries hospitalized pumped up with methadone like shame
Discovery hidden in the dark
Let me reveal to you when light hit the chart
When man made time
Talk mess with no rhymes
Peeped game like Slick mine
Rick Ross with no crimes
Let me strip up a mid line
Crooked ways been signs
Operated chilled shine
Gold nuggets been laced
With under cover who based
Truth facts with out states
Property been paid
No money like mechanical tool base
Wait now later caught up with tooth paste
