Angel Dust

The dewy morning’s pink dawn
When the doe with her new born fawn
Steps out of the glen
Dancing to the song of the wren
Then angel dust is seen

When the baby girl in her sweet sleep
Smiles with pretty dimples so deep
Fills tenderness in the mother’s eyes
As she wistfully looks at the skies
Then angel dust is seen

When the old lady around the corner
Warms her hands on the tin burner
And a passerby around her gently places
A warm shawl with soft laces
Then angel dust is seen

When life becomes hard and dark
There are no new songs from the lark
Trials and heartbreak knock at the door
And every day is a heavy chore
Then angel dust is seen

It whispers softly with the breeze
And settles on those weak and dry trees
Magic gently plays on the heart strings
A harbinger of gentle springs
Angel dust is seen

To Snow and Angel Dust

She bounced right off the inkling
                             . . . . . . . . . golden rings and tinker bells winking
                                                                on tiny toes zzzzzzzzinging
                through the galaxies spinning
                             . . . . . . . . . aglitter aflicker ~ her heart
                                                                atwist amidst anticipating ...
on Halley’s comet tail she flew
                             . . . . . . . . . in the genius of a snowflake parade
                                                                 in search ... in search
                                                       . . . . . of something he once said
to the atmosphere on a cloudy
                             . . . . . . . . . day
over rooftops flurried in December snow
in a glance of her cosmic smile,
                             . . . . . . . . . she ... perched on the cusp of an eighth of a moon
sang songs of fields of poppies soon
                budding beneath the snow,
                             . . . . . . . . . and she opened her tiny fists and let go her angel dust
                                                                  upon the world
and the earth shimmered in many colors
                                                                  and gave praise
                             . . . . . . . . . and the angels came and fetched her up ~
                                                                  and He smiled.

   "Angel Dust"

in lilting fascination, cacading elegance from evening sky
a garland og Angel Dust shimmers as snowflakes dancing on high.
tumbling exquisite patterns in jubilant pierouettes
as a vision of the Angel Choir released their heavenly nets.

gathering blue basket emitting fragrance from flowery blooms
i captured particles of beautiful essence weaving precious looms
sharing treasured dust which sprinkled as manna in arid desert
hope and healing, happiness, as souls extended effort.

within each diamond cluster a verse reads sweet elation
sheer words resound, "You know you are loved by the God of Creation"

the message in the Angel Dust spoke volumes to Earth's people
reminding, no-one is alone for God lives in His Steeple
each time the pressures of this Life overwhelm with fear
just touch the Angel Dust bouquet',feel comfort, He is near.

beyond pink clouds hearts celebrate another success story
give gratitude for Angel Dust, which leads to God of Glory.

When problems arise in life, I would turn to my family but they have passed,
As I make hard decisions, heaviness weighs on me that I know will last.
Often with no straight-forward answers to issues, all I can do is pray,
And hope that they will be answered, using good judgement for the day.

As my mother was dying, I was so lucky I found a precious pup,
Her sweet love supported me during this time, filled up my cup.
Looking in my pup’s eyes, I see someone I’ve known, an old soul,
Helping to mend my gaping wounds, she makes me feel whole.

One day my cockatiel flew out the door, certain she was forever gone,
Tried for days to get Molly back, leaving her cage on the front lawn.
Put flyers up on every telephone pole and notices in the newspaper,
Then a call from 25 miles away, they found Molly, our great escaper.

The beautiful rainbow on the horizon, the sunbeam peeking from a cloud,
These seem to support and guide me, making me want to cry out loud.
Deep love and emotion fills my empty heart and warms my tender skin,
I know these events are helped by the angel dust, sent from my kin.

Angel Dust

Angel dust, shower upon my head, so peace and harmony, may enter my soul
Releasing the thunder my dreams seem to scream, even while I see
For the beauty in your crystals, shine a magical dust, upon my heart
Taking devil dust, and dusting it away, so my lungs can breathe

Angel dust, if your list is long or your line has no ending
I wouldn't mind taking Aurora Borealis or a little Star dust
As, longest I'm on your list or at the end of the line
I promise to be patient, while touched by an , Angel
An Angel like you

Angel dust, shower upon my head, so peace and harmony may enter my soul
For the blessing you give, I will treasure each day, for you are my , Angel mist
Bad spirits they run, demons out the door, when they know your near
Angel dust, please don't disappear, for I will always keep you near

On the street, it is known as “angel dust” colloquially.
It has a formal moniker in pharmacology.
The name is rather long, but is abbreviated to “PCP”
It was first synthesized as a dissociative anesthetic.
Among its side effects, it is hallucinogenic.
More seriously, to the nervous system, it is toxic.
Junkies can inhale it, ingest it, or it can be smoked.
With its use, the brain is adversely provoked.
What are often produced are hallucinations.
Sometimes, the drug fashions delusions.
There is numbness of pain, but distortions of reality.
This cannot be anything to use for you or me.

Thanks to wikipedia.org online encyclopedia for information I obtained to write this poem.

Angel Dust

He finds me when I try to sleep,
He’s even in my dreams,
Lulling me into sweet assurance,
Then tearing me at the seams,

I don’t live where you do,
I live inside my head,
My sense of trepidation,
Turns my bones to lead,

My heartbeat is strong and heavy,
I feel like I might die,
That grey figure whispers in my ear,
He tells me to comply,

If I do what he says I’ll be spared,
But his capriciousness I do not trust,
It doesn’t really matter what I think,
He is my angel dust.

The creatures that could fly, flew out this night
They brought forth their powers, with them their might
The black dragon is largest on the list
They are the strongest, waving their clawed fist

Next would have to be the fairies so trim
Wielding dark talents purely on a whim
The dark gargoyles fly around with great ease
Spreading the fear of death and dire disease

As sure as you think the darkness would win
An angel flies high, way up in heaven
She saves the Earth from all evil around
Drops down some angel dust right to the ground

And quick as a flash evil leaves this place
Angels left to sing the beauty of grace

I looked across the bar and saw her with light golden green eyes and a hint of blue, as the dim lit atmosphere stained them she correspondingly turned

The world then froze as our eyes met for the first time, the stars didn't gleam and the sun didn't shine

She was a beautiful white rose from head to toe

I blinked and as my eyes opened I thought I saw a halo, I closed my eyes then opened them again and there was nothing but she remained
She had a smile like the sunrise and eyes like the sunset

Her hair moved softly as if the wind was embracing it, complimented by her soft cloudy cheeks

Her body was full of life and every curve made me realize there was a God and his work is perfection without any mistakes

As she walked toward me I could see the wind move, flowers breathe, hear hearts beat, and thoughts speak

As she approached me I tucked away all my nervous feelings in my back pocket to pull out all the chivalry and charm I had left

I placed my hand out to hold hers for my introduction, but as soon as I did the conclusion came running

She pulled back, her phone was ringing, so she frantically grabbed her purse and walked away

I guess it wasn’t time to meet my future

God was calling her back to heaven, but when she left brushes of dust fell from the rush

p.s. until we meet again I will strive to be the best man for my angel sent from heaven…THIS IS JUST A POST SCRIPT

Angel Dust

Visited by divinity leaving remnants of its appearance as angel dust
Portions of the trinity left behind for deliverance in my soul was thrust
Something within the haze made me brave and unafraid on me like a crust
Instantly I prayed In my heart peace was engraved made my mind adjust

I am saturated In the essence of angels wings
Not overweighted in my presence heavenly offsprings

As it enters my nostrils I sway like an entranced cobra
Feeling like an apostle practicin advanced yoga
Whether you refer to him as Jesus, Allah, or Buddha
This could only be the blessings of the alpha and omega

I embrace this spiritual mist that sings like a song of psalms
This is such a blissful gift it brings an eternal calm.

We’ve found it on the newborns
Where it stays for a short while
We have tried to analyze it,
But we cannot get a pile
Big enough for a good sample,
We can only make a guess
Some have said it’s angel dust
Falling from a wing or dress.

If you see a ray of sunshine
Coming through the window pane,
You will see its full of bright dust.
Perhaps you try some to obtain.
You will find it’s moving too fast
And you come up empty handed.
Each speck wiggles like an eel.
Fishing for it, you can’t land it.

I have my own pet idea
You may laugh, I do not care.
And I will listen most politely
To any theory you share.
I think it’s dusted on the infants,
For protection on this Earth.
It’s a souvenir of Heaven
Babies bring us at their birth.

‘Purer than the Driven Snow’, has echoed throughout the years.
Why? You might ask… is it thought to be so…so very dear?
It fascinates and boggles the mind, in so many interesting ways.

The white it shows, is truly the purest white, we will ever know.
Intricate shapes are beyond belief, never one the same, to show.
Millions do fall in a single storm, that’s a miracle, too, I say.

It can blanket and protect the ground from a day’s deep, hovering cold.
It holds our minds in awe, so very white, reflecting its’ light into our soul.
It sparkles in the deep moonlight, inspiring us to our knees, to joyfully pray.

And where does it come, but from the heavens above, on a very cloudy day.
A playgrounds dream, where imagination sings, and sends us, to its’ display.
Where snow angels are made, on a winter’s day… in such a touchable way.

 This I do call… Angel Dust… God’s Gift… for us.
