Best Agreements Poems
I'm a message poet,
with a diamond pointed pen
I crack the hidden safes,
and take a honest look within
Things people wanna keep secret,
dark things they don't want coming to light
Corruption sealed in steel containers,
safe from any purview or oversight
Let the blood from my ink of truth
seep into their secret crevices
Shake the metal boxes of lies to the hard floor,
then crack open the impenetrable sealed doors
Exposing all the bartered deceit and appraisal sins,
unethical agreements and ill-gotten possessions
When letting the people know
where all of their hard earned money went
The cost of liberty, always,
is ink well spent

September 24 Scripture Meditations Based on Mark 11-12
Key Verse– Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR EXPOSING MY ERROR
Thank You for exposing my error of showy spirituality
By Your revealing sovereignty
To prove me toward tested Christianity
Midst pretenses along beliefs’ uncertainty.
Thank You for exposing my error of deceptive relationship
By Your converting leadership
To turn me toward faithful stewardship
Midst prayerlessness along worldliness’ friendship.
Thank You for exposing my error of impure motives
By Your sanctifying directives
To straighten me toward holy prerogatives
Midst poverty along discontentment’s alternatives.
Thank You for exposing my error of shallow devotion
By Your empowering salvation
To transform me toward genuine dedication
Midst preferences along doubts’ confusion.
Thank You for exposing my error of subtle hypocrisy
By Your enlightening mercy
To illumine me toward sincere fervency
Midst pride along complacency’s deficiency.
Thank You for exposing my error of worthless engagements
By Your fulfilling involvements
To lead me toward heavenly investments
Midst persistency along commitment’s agreements.
Thank You for exposing my error of selfish interests
By Your faith strengthening bests
To uphold me toward good work-harvests
Midst persecutions along priorities’ tests.

Any kind of love worth having,
Understands that disagreements happen,
And does not diminish when the first disagreement surfaces,
No, it will stay around and show its true value,
Not pack a sad and leave the field open to hate and prejudice,
This love that will stand the test of time,
Hold true even in the face of war, or famine,
And will retain its shape, no matter how hard the battering.
Be it for a friend a lover, or a family member, or even a stranger,
Who is in need of this love.
To agree to disagree,
To see both sides of the coin,
And give them equal value,
To recognise that opinions are not good or bad but different,
And not an indication of a wish to do harm,
To understand that thoughts and words and deeds,
All travel at different speeds.
Agreeing to disagree gives us an extra layer of comfort,
That a lesser kind of love will not,
As our thoughts and words can be a close match,
And only our deeds will need to be sometimes kept in check.
All too often do we fail to see,
That this kind of Love does not take kindly to us setting agendas,
Making unreasonable demands,
Or withholding favors,
To get agreements that will always be broken.
This kind of love,
Brings me so much hope,
I am glad I recognized it before it was too late,
So bitterness will not dog my twilight years
As I find plenty to talk about,
With those who have chosen to agree to disagree with me.

Financiers feel superior to farmers
and pundits have it over poets.
All to the good because if you think America's
doing just fine, don't skip to the poetry reviews.
Our enemies are barbarous, our allies duplicitous
but our smart bombs are smart - that's how they found you.
Dad said all wars are resource wars. Follow
the money. The world needs more order, nothing
less than Nazis, never may the anarchic man's thoughts
be my thoughts, each shove sends a ping,
shields urge on shields, helmets helmets, we can be
the reigning kings between the last empire and the next
or implement a vision of collective deliberation
and binding agreements. Can China's navy
be harnessed to ensure free passage through
the South China Sea? We'll see how
things work out in the next generation.
In the meantime should I read Henry Kissinger's meditations?
He who thinks poetry's effete
probably considers Darwin a geek and Einstein
a postal clerk. Containment means leaving space
for the passionate and zealous to face themselves
and giving them missiles that don't work.
Slowing everyone down until one thing's done well -
governance or sustenance or brotherhood.
When violence comes to the neighborhood
the hierarchy will hold or fold, it is then the peace work proves relevant.
Failing to achieve understanding, we're searching outer space
for an entity to unite us as humanity.
That person, or city, is consciousness.
By that what is meant. Sitting still and thinking deeply
on the relation of anger to coercion,
systems for correcting the decisions of earlier presidents.
We're required to report incidents of depression
to a doctor because you're a valued member of of our community
or so insignificant no one notices or cares.
How necessary the interface of war and poetry!

Pathological agreements made from your spicy allegations,
neurotic contributions based on a fire lit from clay,
all the inescapable state of affairs from intimidating celebrations
my amber ways, your mania stays, controlling on display.
Your jealousy contingent upon my belated positive actions,
my fear portrayed from your rusted all-consuming conditions,
you've torn my ability to react in sanity, that's only a fraction,
I'm left like a prey from a tiger meal, a life full of constriction.
Burnt fanatic beliefs you have seen me as your property,
your bronze so metallic it shines through out the universe,
I need an escape from your unrighteous crowned monarchy,
you never knew how to treat me right, and put me first.
It has been stated from the fellowship I carry outside you,
I deserve fields of marigolds with apricots for dessert,
I made myself a promise to stay away, now we are through,
no more bittersweet memories, I am done being hurt.

Some days and nights it feels too hard
not to turn back former times,
ages and stages,
agreements and arguments,
investments and divestments,
births and deaths,
to ask all rebirth questions
I had no voice to ask yet.
Sometimes it hurts ache deeply
not to turn back able time
to ask my wiser questions of today
before we slipped apart.
Deep time may help to remember
I never could have learned to ask
if I had ever known more power
to stop time's flow
Remembering why this time
in this wide place
we could ever hope to meet
just right
on riverbanks of questions.
What were our odds
of landing here together
given all of time's vast space
invested to remember
what to ask each now together,
and why,
and how long is too short.

At the door to my trembling heart He cried:
‘Go in search of the lost souls one can find,
and you are charged to forever abide
by the tenet of Love for all Mankind.’
To obey was not easy, but I tried;
lesson as precious as a golden hind.
Navigating the seas from the blind side,
no one wished to come willingly and whined.
But as the world’s troubles tested one’s pride,
it’s understandable to lose your mind.
This was not the time to let morals slide,
or forget the agreements in blood signed.
‘Greatest blessings come to us through madness
when it is sent as a gift of the gods.’*

"Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces,
I would still plant my apple tree . . ." Quote - Martin Luther
_____________________
I have died twice,
sorry, I should be more precise;
I have twice knocked on the gate up above.
but was sent home with love.
It seems this girl still has things to do in this world,
so back to earthly living- with wings unfurled;
knowing this life is gnarled,
and today- must suffice.
Yes, today is mine,
for my tomorrow may not twine;
I have known often the sorrow- of death,
waited, weeping for a breath.
Have loved my beloved like there is no tomorrow,
and been left in today- holding only sorrow;
somehow, finding strength to borrow,
waiting for- a sign.
So, I live moments,
for in life there are no agreements;
if tomorrow does not arrive for me,
it is 'cause there was no guarantee.
Oh yes, "What if there was no tomorrow?" You wrote,
well, my answer is- that in today I will float;
setting sail for my true north in a boat,
cherishing - life's fragments.

Over the years, it's really been rough,
A relationship can be hard and tough.
After many nights and disagreements,
I can also recall several agreements.
The butterfly season comes and goes,
It feels like our love no longer grows.
In those difficult times, I remember,
a lovely day, the fifth of December.
It was when we made vows, saying I do,
No matter what happens, I choose you.

Hey Mr president don't take
us to war
Don't load up your guns to settle a score
Your soldiers will gladly give you their lives
Please don't feed them bull , rhetoric and lies
Hey Mr president please save us the earth
Take a look at your children and remember their birth
Don't tear up nuclear agreements that will save the masses
Don't change the law that stop green house gases
Hey Mr president if your not a racist then do what you can
Stop the white supremacist and the klu Klux Klan
Hey Mr president have your say
on the rights of the needy the lesbian and gay
and while your at it please pass a bill to protect returning vets who are mentally ill
Hey Mr president all these things must be done
So the world can prosper an live as one
Talking and compromise will be the key
To stop us all living in total anarchy
