Sleeping in sorrow
If I don't wake tomorrow
Then all will be well.

I cannot tell you I am not hurt
Because I am crucified.
Did you ever love me or was it all a lie?
I need a few seconds to get some control.
Was it the red-headed woman?
Or the blonde little troll?
Do not tell me you have moved on without anyone else
I am naïve, not crazy, not stupid.
Although now I feel a little of both.
You have completely devastated me.
I feel skinned alive, my eyes hurt from crying.
If I said I was okay I would certainly be lying.
Some day when you have a little girl of your own
I hope you remember this day and how much you hurt me
You had nurtured the little girl inside me
But she died a few minutes ago
When you told me that you never loved me
When you look at your baby, you will remember this moment
And you will feel remorse
Knowing you killed another little girl
Now go because I do not want to hug you good-bye.

Dramatic Monologue
I find myself at a cross road.
Which way should I go?
To my left is uncertainty.
To my right is a dead end.
So I'm stuck and I can't move.
I have no choice but to exit UP
My private jet is on the way
Goodbye my friends.

Out of the deepest broken heart I have ever had,
When I could not see the light of God anymore;
My directional flow of movement stood still, I
Did not move anymore.
Felt like it was okay to stay in ways past,
But you my Lord God were not having that.
With your mercy one of your angels who flies
Between both places swooped and picked me up,
The elevator to my my dreams with you.
Caught me up in his surety with strength of prayer;
A seasoned Knight of your realm dear Lord King,
And I am sure that I am not his only rescue.
No time to keep that broken heart; no, God's
Business is at hand.
I too must transform fully into what you created me to be.
While his guitar is his weapon of choice slicing through
Satan's waves of death... that bad Satan screams along
With his demons, turning whiter than any ghost could;
They can't flee fast enough, never seen the like before.
It is the same warfare I fight with my pen although this angel
Has those weapons and more... it inspires me to develop my
God given weapons to help fight the spiritual warfare that is at hand.
And all I can do is humbly say thank you Lord and walk into the beauty
And joy that You've had for me all along...
May I adjust and fight accordingly.
I'm all in Lord, I know that you will help me with the rest!

The students couldn't wait
until the fat lady sung,
so some heaved rocks
while others slung dung..
Bonded by the beat from
an umbilical drum,
protesting in the streets
as one, Hashina's authoritarian regime
was overcome.

Acquainted ! Attracted ! I adore you, Hello Miss !
Beautiful bud of love bloomed in bliss.
Cheered ! Charmed ! Caring craving on your charisma.
Dedicated ! Drank dreamy desires drowning in dilemma.
Ecstatic emerald emotion in exciting endeavour.
Fantastic feelings flew in fervent fervour.
Grace and glamour in amour glowed on slat glance.
Humble holy happy heart hiding hesitance.
Intensive impulsive illusive instinct igneous,
Just makes me jubilant jocund jolly joyous.
Knot of allure knitted in neat plait
Loyal liberal lavender love not in plaint.
Mellifluous marvellous mysterious.
Noble nice neither shaky nor nervous.
Overwhelmed oblate on oblivious obsession
Pure pristine pride piercing pearly passion.
Quivering quavering heart to quench thirst !
Romance in rapture rolls, ready to outburst.
Serene sublime simple sentiment, no sanctimony.
Thrilling, tempting togetherness ! Typical testimony.
Urge to unravel , unleash even being unconscious.
Vigorous in voice ! Veneration for my Valentine! Venus !
Whirling heart with weary eyes watched you to walk away.
‘X ‘ : The unknown ‘love’ left unsolved in 'Xtreme dismay .
Yearnings of youth yelled yielding yucky heart break.
Zone of love in zest and zing closed by abrupt ACHE.

I'm not trippin' ill get down
with all these people around
smokes lights and sound
watched while two are bound
stomach full of fungus
moments are humongous
hugs and a tongue kiss
smile if you want this
capers of the gentle way
smelling a fresh bouquet
smells good even in decay
gave it to her anyway
after she didn't promise
aftermath subconscious
all or nothing concepts
ultimatum conquest
love is not a contest
these lovers of mine
squeeze drops of time
the number three divine
can complicate a rhyme

As Life's
moving forward
memories keep building
preserving brief moments of time
In my short life, I'll cherish the good ones
While forgetting all the bad ones
This abrupt existence,
I'll always be
Grateful

Excuse me if I appear to be abrupt
but I find your sensibilities and ethics corrupt,
a leader of people should be a visionary
scrupulously clean and who speaks with brevity,
not a person who seeks solely to divide
to make it easier to control all of the sides,
the manipulate and create forms of xenophobic hate
I see your actions as no more than a disgrace,
discriminating based around sexuality of race
in this world there should be no place,
for this kind of leadership to transcend into a modern age.

Dramatic Verse
Words that I cite
Move each bold write
In a sure flash
Forge a swift dash
Thought in sure plot
Hurls a clear lot
Abrupt this rhyme
Upon a time
Swirl of pure tact
Frames new word pact
Here with fond fit
Words cluster wit
Crisp frame of mind
New verge now finds
In a brisk flood
Pulse of warm blood
Words tell a lot
Beyond mere thought

Trump Approach Abrupt
Trump's approach is always rather abrupt;
Causes trouble and things likes to disrupt;
Hard to predict;
Makes you sick,
And came to collusion that he is corrupt.

A stern face
A harsh place
A strange kind
A rough mind
A mad twist
A black list
A shrewd step
A lost map
A plus point
A sad joint
A late fad
A life mad
A last fling
A lost spring
A long way
A blown prey
A dead chance
A break dance

This time last year, I couldn't wait
to see the brand new year. I had
well thought out plans. I was going
to start afresh and start anew.
I was going back to school and do
something that I always wanted
to do. My goal was to go back to
school and get into the healthcare
field. I was a nurse's aide several
years ago.
As soon as got my taxes I was going
to enroll in school. But the dreadful
pandemic hit and put my dreams on
hold. It felt like my life was passing
me by.
In 2020, I have experienced fear,
hurt and complacency. However,
I have felt sadness the most.
Sadness for the folks that lost
their lives to an invisible enemy
A.K.A. Covid 19.
I feel stuck in between the land
of broken and unfulfilled dreams.
But in the midst of all the noise
and chaos in my soul.
I have hope that all will get back to
normal one day. I came to realize
that without hope it would be real
hard to face each new day.

Find xanthium' squeeze in a sigh
asking a righteous void, hear my entreat
hand to heart, in a beggar's sky
not just for myself,
not just for why...
Can a heart devoid of hope
seek to find salvation
from a Quentin Tarantino film
in a strange pulp voice
that sounded just like mine.
Your sin, my sins
vowed never relent..
nor let cementing cold take you
so don't despair..
Place two fingers, just beside your neck
feel it pulse?
it's you,
and you still care.
Search the world's underbelly
the meek and mild
little mouse infirm, the whooping crane strong, all us
no longer beguiled.
Roaming streets and back alleys
afraid to meet my neighbor's eye
I, the guilty
waiting a just reply.
It's a quarter past two,
last train leaves at three..
the sign at the platform's final end
stands glaring,
waiting a reprieve.
A proud primping Whooping crane calls out
'it's justice'..
All a lowly titmouse discerns,
'it's just us'.

Had Been Apparently Abrupt
Comments made were apparently abrupt,
And eventually things would soon erupt;
Break into,
Like they do;
When done by Trump had become corrupt.
