Music To My Ears

buddy holly oh boy could sing he penned lyrics fit for a king
elvis pelvis drew a crowd thats alright mama would be proud
johnny cash spent his time learning how to walk the line
and the beatles needed no help writing songs they felt about
the rolling stones still in action dealing out some satisfaction
the beegees knew how to leave ya with there saturday night fever
then the clash they want to know should you stay or should you go
because abbas hear and without a fuss they will sing to one of us
then the jacksons with there hair everyone knows they got to be there
as shawaddywaddy plays there stuff underneath the moon of love
the pistols there causing a seen down with society but god save the queen
now its all comming back to me filling my ears with a bohemian rhapsody
memories fading as you look back it could of been magic i guess your take that

The Chile Honey Bees

Chile honey bees are buzzing
Up Across the U.S. nation
They had to stop only one time
At a local BP station

All the way up to Niagra
The falls are nice this time of year
Adding USB's to their force
They all seemed to be of good cheer

They stopped again for a concert
Sting and the BeeGees, in open air
All the way back down to Chile
Where the Honeybees hubbies were there!

Rock N Roll

Rock n Roll

			Rock n roll
			Do the stroll
The sounds of the 50’s and 60’s
Elvis Presley singing about “Hound Dog”
			Girls screaming at his feet,
			Elvis “The King”
			Rock n roll
			Has that beat
			Frankie Avalon singing “Venus”
Bobby Rydell, you can’t “Forget Him”,
Fabian, well we know what he wants
			“Turn Me Loose”
			Rock n roll
Jerry Lee Lewis has “Great Balls of Fire”
He’s hitting those piano keys with his shoes
Then there’s the man from New Orleans
			Singing about “Blueberry Hill”
That’s the one and only Fats Domino
Then the Beattles come on the scene
			The British Invasion
“I Want to Hold Your Hand”
			The BeeGees arrive from Australia
“The Lights are On in Massachusetts”
The Dave Clark Five and the Herman Hermits
The Rolling Stones make a big hit
That’s what rock n roll is
That’s the sound, that’s the beat
It gets you on your feet
			That’s Rock n Roll.

I Love To Boogie

I LOVE TO BOOGIE

A time of platform shoes and wild psychedelic art,
fondue, mood rings, glitter balls, bell bottoms with a flair,
John Travolta danced his way to every female heart,
lava lamps, paisley shirts and Farrah Fawcett hair.
“I Will Survive,” Stay'in Alive,” topped the music chart,
thigh high boots, hi heel pumps, the comfy bean bag chair,
The BeeGees rose, The Village People here for a just awhile,
mixing upbeat funk with a bit of soul gave disco special style.

My Favorite Lyrics

“Well I just heard the news today"
It seems like nothing but hard times, where all I can do is pray
But you have stuck by me, and have always been my friend
I think it's safe to say, this will continue to the end

“So Incredible... the way things work themselves out"
I had prayed always for a way to lift my burdens that clout
Then you came along, and did just what I needed
Now I know that my heart is steadily being leaded

"You're my savior when I fall”
Without you baby, I know I'm nothing at all
Stay here with me, my love, and share in my hopes and dreams
Forever is exactly what I mean

With time and love, comes honor and truth
As the days go by, I will always love you
If you ever have any doubts about our endeavor
"I’m gonna love you forever"
