THINGS YOU NEVER TOUCHED

I stitched my silence with threads of things I couldn’t say.
I yearned with the last pieces I had stored away.

The moon watched me unravel, but never turned away.
The sea heard my cries, but never bothered to ask me "why?".

I carved poems on the inside of my ribs just to feel alive.
And the lines suffocated me instead of bringing me back to life.

Now I wear my pain like a second skin—
Quiet, but tight.

Eyes search for yours in a room filled with aching hearts.
But yours were always the kind to look away when it got too dark.

The smile you wore felt so fake,
Never could see me in the eye but always watched me When it was time to say— goodbye.

You held my ghost like it was still breathing,
But never dared to touch the girl I was beneath.

Touched my skin like it’s what made me, me.
Still, unaware about the nights in me.

You kissed daylight onto my body,
But left my shadows starving in silence.

So I became the quiet storm you never saw coming
Soft in presence,
But drowning everything you left untouched.

The New Cut

Every snip feels off.
I stare at my own hair.
The sides are sharp today.
The top does not feel right.

I run my fingers through.
It is different, maybe odd.
I pause, not sure I like it.
I hope it grows on me.

Maybe they will like it.
It could be a better look.
Could even catch some smiles.
The girls might notice too.

The mirror feels more kind.
The cut starts to take shape.
Maybe it just needs time.
It might be working out.

I take a breath, step back.
Maybe it is bold, maybe fun.
A quiet pat on my back.
Light catches every line.

I let myself smile a little.
It may be different, but I like it.
I own this change, I own the cut.
It feels good, it feels like me.

I walk away with a small grin.
Feeling good about what I see.
Different, yes, but bold.
I like this new cut on me.

Premium Memberblack hawk

why is it a nightmare,
to have these dreams,
aspiring to
this black hawk
that happily flies
to any un-told land
in the skies.
I'm in love with this girl,
with the brownish
and gorgeous
lavish eyes,
wish she
would
welcome me aboard
gently
hands upon
her back,
hanging on
by her feathers.
I won't let go.......

Tonight

I want tonight to be the night
The one that we keep insight
A forever moment cherished in time
The work is done, and the hill is climbed
One special evening with you cradled in my arms
I’ve fallen for your unique and beautiful charms
Now I need to show you my light inside
From a heart that nearly died
You are my everything
And I can’t wait to hear you sing
Just this once baby girl I want you to know
I need us to take it ever so slow
Please let me be your person of trust
My everything for you is an absolute must
I want tonight to be the night
The one that we keep insight
One special evening with you cradled in my arms
I’ve fallen for your unique and beautiful charms

Her

Her,
Let's talk about her,
She's always so bright, or it's all about the sight
They way she loves, despite the other's bluffs
When someone says her name
She keeps them without any shame
One day I asked her, what does she want
Said, I have some wishes, can someone grant
To be the one, whose taken care of
As I am soft, like a freshly baked loaf
To just be free, be free as a bee
To walk out the door and be real me
How can I be not objectified, besides they say
I like the way you smiled,
May I not be the one everyone wishes for
To be someone's everything they wish for
She said,
I'm strong, I'm built like this
To be the bait or just live to be his
The list is huge and my clock is clicking
I laugh with a boy and they start shipping
Stress a distress, You have to look flawless
When you're feeling like a mess
Body shaming, no we care for you
Where were you when my hands turned blue
i asked, how do you handle all this,
Said, you should know, don't you know miss!

MELINDA

Melinda is so beautiful
She's sweet like Mirinda
This girl is from Florida
Her best friend's name is Belinda
And her younger sister linda
She drives Honda.

She's so classy
Very unique
Meek in her ways
Pink her favorite color
She got no body odour
Always smelling like vanilla.

This girl is my treasure
She always tells me
If you don't venture no greatness
We always go on adventure
She never gives me pressure
Steadily she gives me pleasures
She rules my heart, mind and body.

THE FINEST GIRL IN MY STREET

There's this fine girl
In my street
She said I'm very sweet
She licks me like ice cream
When the play starts
She gives me high screams.

Her body shape
Just like the coca cola bottle
She said she likes my muscles
She likes the way I grab her
She got the best styles and wine
When we start to ride
Then I ride her recklessly, she says faster.

This fine girl in my street
Don't play with anyone else
She always runs to me
Whenever she's bored
She said she likes my play and the vibes I give.

Curly haired girl

She loves to twirl and jump
expressing without a care
This is a girl that has big curly hair
her eyes filled with life, makes me want to hug her with all my might.
She can’t sit still, always has something to do
Using her imagination, how I wish I could look inside too.
She’s grown so much, i’m so proud
so happy she exists, she’s changed my life around.

What the Sun Sees

As I rise,
The moon falls
The wind settles
The lake follows
The sand shimmers
The earth softens
The stars dampen and
The buildings brighten,

A tree houses
A bird swooshes
A flower opens
A fish swims
A weed dances
A squirrel eats and
A duck dips,

A man hurries to work
A woman runs on the boardwalk
A grandfather grabs the paper
A boy hides from me
A girl giggles on the swings
A bell ushers kids away and\
A bike lane grows heavy,

This place,
So full with life
Racks the minutes, hours, days, years,
Peacefully, quietly, beautifully--
Existing with incredible happenings;
Splendors and revelations,
Dark funerals and ‘happy birthdays’,
Joyous jubilations and lonely mornings,
Yellow hellos and red goodbyes,
Tired people and busy minds.
Perpetual, like that grandfather clock in the apartment with the too-thin walls;
As unchanging as the oak tree outside of the tiny bungalow on the corner street by the beach.
And as I set and rise everyday to do the same 24-hour shift,
I do not complain about the similar views, or the boring minutes,
I do not crave the hours in darkness,
I accept the unthanked labor—
I watch.
I listen.
I exist.

Girl, Level up and leave

You’ve been holding on too long,
To shadows where you don’t belong.
But girl, it’s time to break the chain,
Release the hurt, shed all the pain.

No more tears for what won’t grow,
It’s your time, just so you know.
Pack your strength, your heart, your dreams,
Step into light, hear your own screams.

Level up, rise from the ground,
Find your voice, your solid sound.
Leave behind what drags you down,
Wear your crown, reclaim your town.

You’re not defined by what you’ve lost,
Self-love is worth any cost.
So stand up tall, and then believe
It’s your life to level up and leave.
