Baggy Poems

Baggy Clothes

Teenagers just love baggy clothes
It covers secrets we don't want people to know
Secrets of our bodies that we despise
That plague our minds each day and night.

When we look in the mirror each time we wake
Our heart is filled with so much hate
Asking questions like 'How come I haven't lost weight' or 'look how thinner I am today'
Damn it why do we always want the body that other people hate?

But baggy clothes provide an escape
A way to hide our forms and curves.
With it, nobody notices the extra added weight
Or what was lost before that day

Baggy clothing provides a rest
For teenagers who hate exposing what they think is not the best
To wrap us around and dispel our loathing
For what can't be hidden in tight clothing.

Mister Baggy Pants

A familiar face
trying hard for history to be erased,
how fervent the lie
who is the thief that claims to stop the steal
is this nonsense for real?

Here he is again
pretending to be the savior of men
gathering followers close and tight
crying foul and the same old rhetoric
what keeps those with common sense from getting it?

History appears never to be learned
 it's lessons easily spurned
disappearing in the wrinkled baggy pants
and the man returns once more
anxious to even his scores.

The party forms over to the right
stealing votes in the dark of night
old fogies too long in power
give free access to the lie
and conspiracies not once denied.

Be careful what you wish for
there is little access for the populace thru that door
and how easily we can fall behind again
releasing the freedom for which you yearn
as the ballot box and history is quickly burned.

Show them what rebellion means,
wear your blue faded denim jeans
halfway down your sexy ****
showing off your free swingin boxers.
Feel a breeze in the crotch down at the knees,
take a step and watch them jeans botch
sliding down to your oxfords.

towards two left feet
with the beat of the music,
glide and bend down with a thud
and pick them up sexy stud.
Start all over again; it happens quite fast.

Baggy Elbow

Baggy elbow
Whisking a wow
Flapping & flopping
Constrained by conforming
With ambition

Baggy elbow
Blowing a bow
Swinging & swagging
Hung from haggling
With normalcy

Baggy elbow
Trying a toe
Cracking & creaking
Tired from trusting
Itself

Baggy Jeans and Memories

Plucked a rainbow from the sky
crammed it into my pocket
not sure what good it was
this hazy sunshine locket

Caught the scent of dew wet grass
inside an empty jug
and on those lonely arid days
would take a hearty slug

Stole a glistening spider web
cuz he could build another
hung it on the chandelier
to scare my little brother

Took the music of the woods
stored it deep within
when troubled by the city’s streets
I’d let it out again

Touched the hello of the sun
its warmth at passing noon
felt its dimming into dusk
awakening the moon

Plucked a rainbow from the sky
left the pot-o-gold
plucked a rainbow from the sky
and then I let it go.

(sometimes poetry has to express itself in the simplicity of your heart. i term this type of poem as bedroom poetry. you don't need to be Byron or Shelly just a man with the woman he loves. your poem has to be as gentle as a KISS, keep it simple, Stupid!!)

i love you

not because you have special talents
although you have many
not because you’re beautiful
though i know any artist
would be thrilled to display you on canvas

i love you

not because of your mild nature
you are gentle
or because you’re a genius
i do love listening to you speak

i love you

sometimes life will get the better of you
i expect you will make mistakes
you should know we all have a dark side
i will always be there with a light
the way you have been a beacon for me

i love you

dressed to the hilt for a night out
first thing in the morning after a bad night
when you agree with me
think I'm out in left field
when you hand me the converter
hide it in another country

i love you

unconditionally

happy you're with me

Sagging Baggy Pants

sagging baggy pants
below buttocks reveal an
insecure person

so pull them up, hide
your offensive parts, find your
purpose for living

become more secure
by using your talents to
make a better world

Baggy Bloomers

Baggy Bloomers
Did u ever stop to wonder about the baggy ass old bean .
It was in the sixties when we had the skin tight jeans.
When it was cool the skin tight jeans and body shirts so fine.
When you could see so shapely the women were sublime.
The army had the baggy ass the bloody Bombay bloomers.
The soldiers hated baggy ass they looked like crap on tuna.
In the seventies fashion brought out baggy ass no one would buy it when.
It wasn't cool no Hippy fool would have it wear it then.
So brainwash the public its cool, just wear this floppy sack.
With your baggy knee length shorts a flopping forth and back.
Shapeless bland and worthless, rag bag ,bloody pppp.
No class or style about it, a hanging on your rack?

Don Johnson
As the old Aussie soldiers would say why would you want to be a baggy ass....
