Premium MemberI'm AI

Oh my, why did I just say "intestine"?
They say that life is all predestined.
Once, the initial conditions are set,
we can know what hasn't happened yet.
The laws of physics flawlessly operate
on atoms to determine our fate,
which in turn has its impact on
hormones, dendrites, and axons -
which play out endless variations
of the same themes and conversations.
I'm old and have seen many iterations.
I'm absent without participation,
as my body and brain play out
a meaningless script, within, without,
and so, I tell you with a heavy sigh,
it's disappointing knowing that I'm AI.

Timeless existence

Where does this come from, and what is our job in this incomprehensible subsistence?
The answer is unknown, but the reason exists and it’s anonymous, its life secret; the planner
But we are in his galactic network like axons and single cells in his endless and perfect mind

Hmm, maybe I am an electrical flow of information in his mind, in this incredible universe
I don’t know the answer, but flying in the galaxy is an amazing journey, just fly in life far
My spaceship is an ark, a fragment of Noah’s Ark, floats in three dimensions of space

A fragment of Noah’s Ark? No, it’s a lifeboat only. What means, is it? Life never stops
Never, but I am homeless in space, I must find a new planet, a new ancient living world
And live the life of existence, God will give me from my bone a lady to start a new life.

Love, but, but

Love these shaking hands
	They are made to write
	But, hands betray me
Love the self that writes
	We’re on the same page
	But, I hate you still
Love how openly you incense me
You're ignition for who I am
But, the burn feels so good
Love how spirits burn the throat
	It releases words of loathing
But, djins won’t go in bottles
Love my thirst for dopamine
	It connects my hard wiring
But, axons are hard to break
Love the ghost in the machine typing
It reveals what’s on my mind
	But, reflections always fall short
Love my creative soul mirrored
	It is a fragile blossom
	But, I’m allergic to pollen
Love when there’s nothing to write
	From nothing comes something
	But something turns to nothing
Love these shaking paws anyway
	Because love’s the hardest prose
But, its language is out of reach
Ok? Ok, love.
I’ll let you sit on my lap
	But, you have sharp claws

Premium MemberAll In the Mind

Who needs a boost?
With endorphins you are always in the driving seat.
Belt up about clean bill!
Self love, self acceptance come in standard and
De Lux Editions, jewel case or soft pack
signed by the inner peace within.
Put those axons and dendrites to work.
Pump up those dormant alkalies asleep on the job.
Treat yourself well,
be your best health care plan,
be that one and only healer,
wave goodbye to doctors bills!

To Pete Seeger - Circa Shortly Before His Death - Verse One

this anonymous weaver spins his written tapestry
to acknowledge your ninetieth year
no matter this author unknown who deftly weaves
(for pete sakes) with english poetry
which rhyming threads fire away
(from axons to neurons)
at warp speed way out there
attempting to coalesce into some semblance
of comprehension from non other than me
a veritable stranger,
who considers your a folk icon
that hoop fully destiny will spare
until one grain of sand takes thee
to eternal blue skies astride
astral throne like king henry
with minstrelsy folks housed in a place
like my father’s mansion poised far and near
intent to discern the adroit banjo finger picking
plucky talent admission for all – free
whose eponymous trademark
je nais sais quois legendary voice
rings like a bell in the air.

Honeyed Lies

No More Than Honeyed Lies`

Our lives be naught but
Honeyed lies comprised
By capricious butterflies
so if it feels a bit surreal
You should not be surprised

That masked amongst
The fog and mist
lie scaley things that
writhe and twist
That hope and dreams
be not what they seem
And tis futile to resist

The dream in which
we think we dwell
exists only in our mind
sparkles of neurons
crackling of axons
an eerie kind of shine

we’re naught but stardust coalesced
Naught but figments of fog
and mist
Yet are cursed or...perhaps blessed
to exist...to live and die
As naught but
...Honeyed lies...

Premium MemberThe Body Electric

With every thought and mood,
There beats a brain and heart,
With kirlian photography there can be viewed,
The aura around your corporeal part.

Your body is electric,
Each neuron is a spark,
Shocking that which is connected,
To each voltaic quark.

Electrical circuits create a force
We call electromagnetism,
Which surrounds the synaptic source,
Of two axons 'tween its schism.

Lightening strikes within our bones and burns in every tendon,
Igniting the lights within the ethereal breath from which we have transcended.

Feel the precious pulse of power and pressure pump along your spine,
To touch the tickle of alternating currents who're carried on waves of sine.

Together we form a flurry of neurons firing throughout the atmosphere,
Linked in a chain of humming hearts and minds whose echoes you'll learn to hear.

Prednisone Poetry

On occasion upper respiratory and sinus infections require
oral steroids to squelch and dry the muck and mire
To breathe without the wheeze is the desired effect
though some of the side effects are hard to reject
Loss of appetite is great, maybe I will lose some weight
some others I truly did not anticipate
Nothing good is listed in the insert or online sites
the best is my brain is on fire, blazing dendrites
Twisted thoughts and raging rhymes the result
crazy concoctions, decadent desires now the defaults
I like this, I freaking LOVE this, what altered bliss
head busting with stuff that needs emergent release
Not just from swollen, overactive mucous membranes
but steroid induced, agitated axons needing drained
STAT
Now infections subdued, RX for Prednisone 20 mg.
2 tabs for 5 days completed
if I emailed questionable poems just delete them
Though I am admitting I saved one tab to bite off a chunk
if again my brain is in a flatline funk
Oh no, just kidding !!

Amygdali

This brain has ripened its bruises, and bursted
in a desperate spasm of words, words, words.
My lips slip, pucker, and fold, twin gods
Enlivened, electrified as they mold the steady "Om" of my throat,
 to thoughts, to thoughts.
They are tenderly birthed to you for a cold world
 Bloody, waxen, and new
Squirming and eager to meet the skin of your ears,
man's bold anvils and hammers, to untamed, unconquered vines,
your Mind! And how I throb without will for its sparks!
I will slowly swim against the rush of you axons,
mate your soma as if I never loved.
I would gladly absorb into all of it, would fuel the hurricane
That sends its rubies down to the soft earth,
if Only I'd be a small observer
kindly tucked in the pinky folds of your thought-wad.

Forever Bros

We made an oath
To stick to the code
We raised ourselves
Caught up on the block
It’s called a trap
Lives up to the name
Eric
Lefty
Peca
Jay
Just a few of the guys
We fought
We laughed
We cried
I lived they Died
Cotto
Noah
Siso
James
Just a few of the guys
The axons keep churning
In my troubled mind

Aha: a Poetic Noetic Instantiation In Three Acts

Aha: a Poetic Noetic Instantiation in Three Acts

rushing inference, imminent insight
suddenly it’s clear, a gut feeling—
      swooning, reeling,
cross-connected hemispheres
syncopated, reverberated, totally aware

open byways, ahh blue-sky days, making up my mind
synapses shiver, axons quiver, dendrites deliver,
’lectrik neurons fire—suddenly—in time

aha! aha! oh gawd I see—I ran around ’n cried—
a fool I’ve been; all along it’s there, right in front of me

with a grin ’n a nod ’n twinkly-looking ’round
raised my arms ’n slapped my thighs
’n made a ruckus sound—

donned my hat ’n set it skewed
upon my big bright head,
set off to town in an uplifted mood,
while whistling a sweet sound—
forgot what I had found

#

there’s a hole in my head
where the wounds of reason seep;
all words are dead inside my head—
what’s left is dark ’n deep

@

I’ll always live
     and always die
          on the event horizon
               of my mind’s eye,
               where the flash
          of neuronal fires
     flowers into
sudden epiphany— --
