Askers Poems | Examples

Premium MemberTotal Passivity

Total passivity
Seems to me a relevant strategy
To confront the humiliation that is offered to the large
But some would say small world of askers
All kinds of believers in their right to demand something
Who can’t stop asking and expect hoping
Don't ask, don’t beg and don't ingratiate
This is what they expect from you
To bring you down forever
At best case scenario
Applicants are put in line
For a bowl of mushroom soup with crackers
Do what they don't expect
Don't do anything, don't ask
And I promise you the time will come
When it will be their turn to ask
Let them ask and they’ll answer themselves
Gradually there’ll be more questions
But the answers will be fewer and simpler
The sunrises and sunsets will come and go
Silence will produce the most pleasant of problems
You can share it on facebook
How to make the neat little bin
For the used tea bags.

Premium MemberAskers and Deciders

The civilization of askers
Waits in the world of deciders
The queues tend to go faster
The lost need to find their finders
Any road needs an excavation
Some fenced pits of debris
What looks clean needs contamination
Regardless if some may disagree
I need to take my annual tests
Maybe I’ll get new prescriptions
I won’t mind to get more rest
Can’t give you a thorough description
How do I feel about this old day
In the world of deciders
The askers should know their place, they say
Maybe the web needs more spiders.

Premium MemberThe Moral Compass

The bombs of justice overcome the bombs of terror
The drones of peace fight back the drones of war
Some gnostics claimed this world was the God’s error
I rather think about the error 404
The moral compass has not been updated
Since 1970s, it wiggles every way
According to the graphs the most outdated
Drawn from the dust of ancient blood stains
A bunch of modern noahs build new ark
Which in the fit of patronage they do
All gimmegrants and askers come to mark
Their presence in the nest of grand cuckoo
I was there too, but didn’t warble my requests
Thinking that come and go would do me better
Than if I’d stay as cuckoo fledgeling in that nest
I was mistaken, but it doesn’t really matter.

Flowers

There is only one place to be
When I will tell you, you will see
The one place near to be with flowers
To help to remove all the angers
To answer all the hateful askers
How beautiful they are
More pretty than a shiny star
Thank you god for these things
And a beautiful smell they brings
It’s time for me to go
And I want you to know
I will come back tomorrow again
And with you no one knows what going to happen then

Know-How

Things we think are obvious
Some others may not get.
If a question’s raised,
There should be no cause for regret.

Simple explanations help
To clarify what’s meant.
Often what’s interpreted
Is far from the intent.

How one states intentions
Can cause discontent or pique,
Not illumination, which is
What the askers seek.

Wording and inflection
May change innocence to vice;
And challenging one’s know-how
May make questioners think twice.

Darkness Sux

Darkness sucks
With empty promises of peace
It’s empty shadows lie
To souls of poets that had to die
It hides in lonely shadowed why
Empathic askers staring cry
Reality gets hard to hold
Painful yesterdays pile high
For letting go is easy done
Until you know
Tomorrow’s gone
