musical shadows

Earth Day Every Day

A comment Mr. Hankins made brought
this to light

As I followed the popo
Affectionately called one night

Traveling up
Kings Highway

The officer
Traveling my way

Did with malice
And for thought

Like an out of
depths aquanaut

Empty a full ashtray into the street

We won't go
Into his example

Or his lack of
manners sample

We'll put those items
For the moment,on the shelf

Let's consider the one ruining the earth

Will be brought to ruin himself.......Revelation 11:18

Pollution is pollution
No matter it's degree

Hooty owl may have said it
Yet I'm positive you'll agree

That our gracious LANDLORD
With full authority

Said it best.Give a hoot,don't pollute.

The Aquanaut

The Aquanaut

The ship sank two survivors on a raft
the Japanese and me.
On the first two days, sharks circled the raft
but they lost interest and disappeared
The Asian man shook my hand and said goodbye
jumped overboard and swam to
the land of the rising sun.
I was rescued by a fishing vessel the next day
thinking the Japanese had drowned didn`t
think more about him, till I met him in Tokyo
where he made a living as a swimming instructor.
