Love

i dont blame you not anymore
but yes it still hurts still sore
and yes my heart is still bleeding
and i find my self still needing
someone to cuddle with
but when it come to admitting it
i plead the 5th
i love you and always will
you take a place no one could fill
i wont take the risk of losing you
i wish it could be how it used to
im sorry i ever made you mad
sorry for showing you i was ever sad
i know im such a dissapointment
but can we forget that for a moment
and think of what we could be
having anything our eyes can see
All i want is to make you happy
yes this poem is a little sappy
i want to say that i love you
i was hoping you loved me too

Sunrise

Now is the sunrise of our love.

As our days unfold before us,
bless us with friendship, patience and understanding,
for without these, love cannot endure.

Bless us with courtesy, kindness and compassion for
each other,
for without these, love cannot flourish.

Bless us with laughter and tears, toil and fun,
for without these love cannot grow.

May we live together
    love together,
    grow together,
     be together,

from the sunrise of our love
until the sunset of our lives.

"a Marriage of 38 Years"

He held my hand and kissed my heart.
For 38 years we've never been apart.
I've always been in love with him.
All his life and all those crazy whims.
We were so young when we first met.
38 years have past with no regret.
Three kids later and 38 years have past.
Our love for each other will always last.
We'll grow old and call one another dear.
Cause if we're lucky we'll have another
               marriage of 38 years.

Evermore

A long time ago
in a place called
my memory
you reached
so far into me
as if you alone
had always held
the secret password
to my innermost soul

I loved you then

A lifetime ago
in a castle called
my heart
I surrendered to be
forever by your side
your very soul
mine to protect
for you had unlocked
life’s mysteries for me

I love you now

A heartbeat ago
in a place called
our home
I watched you sleep
and gave
silent thanks
for every dream
that you alone
have made come true

I will love you
               ………… evermore

IRISH

Confident Woman

HE LOVES ME
I LOVE HIM
TWO YEARS OF CONTINUOUS CHEMISTRY
A CHILD IS BORN
TOGETHER WE MAKE THREE
HE’S MY EXTRA SWEET SPOT
AT THIS RATE
OUR LOVE WON’T STOP
A FAMILY THAT MAKES ME HAPPY
OUR LOVE IS LIKE MAGIC
IT’S AMAZING
THE ART OF MY AFFECTION
I’VE BEEN WAITING
WAITING TO EXHALE
BREATHING AT AN ALARMING RATE
A DIAMOND RING
A NEW HOME ON THE HILL
MARRIAGE IS SOMETHING I WON’T DEBATE
I WON’T WASTE TIME
FOR HE IS MY ROCK
CREATIVE MINDS
EQUAL TALENTS
NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY
THIS LOVE WON’T STOP

My Love Reigns True

This day means a lot,
Much more than any other day.
I celebrate my love for you,
In a nice and lovely way.

When I first saw you,
  My heart knew right then.
That you were the one for me;
I’d never search for love again.

Today’s our anniversary,
Today I took your lovely hand.
Today we celebrate our love,
For you make me a proud man.

As we celebrate this day,
  I love you abundantly.
Life would not be the same,
  Without you next to me.

I remember the very day,
When I happily said I do.
I was drawn by your beauty,
And still, my love reigns true.

Saturday In the Park

He, a man the artist thinks he will never know,
Stroked her, another stranger and maybe his wife,
Matching white hair shines in the sunshine
The artist, soul deep and single,
Follows every line of their love with his pencil
So intent he doesn't notice the approaching shadow.
"They're beautiful in real life too, aren't they?"
Her voice was as gorgeous as she
The artist saw when he looked up into her eyes
"Yes," the artist sighs.
"They are my grandparents. Today is they're seventieth anniversary and we have all come
to this park where they met to celebrate." The artist's dream explained.
"Oh," Is all the artist knows to say. He couldn't imagine a love so long lasting.
"I want to buy that when you finish," the granddaughter insists.
"Oh, no, I'll give it to them. My gift." The artist insists and wins. He grins and she grins
Perhaps in seventy years they will pose unknowingly in the park for another young artist.
