"a Marriage of 38 Years"

He held my hand and kissed my heart.
For 38 years we've never been apart.
I've always been in love with him.
All his life and all those crazy whims.
We were so young when we first met.
38 years have past with no regret.
Three kids later and 38 years have past.
Our love for each other will always last.
We'll grow old and call one another dear.
Cause if we're lucky we'll have another
               marriage of 38 years.

i read this poem and the one on the loss of your mom; your warmth and love for those in your life comes out so natural, warm and sensitive; i can see those in your life are fortunate to have you as you appreciate ..... thank you for sharing your feelings, chuck
