Musky

A complete thought
it conveys a complete thought

We used the boxtruck for shelter in the rain.
while putting Styrofoam spray into number
tin cans, we were tryna make a floating device, anyway
I told ex wife the story of me becoming engaged.
"I knew my wife loved me the day
I came home early and no one
was there. She does crafts
and on the table was " I love You"
stringed together. She used the pigfeet bones from
the BBQ and some string
she tied dandiloins inbetween the bones
I asked her to marry me that evening"
She played fiddle with the band and I played accordain
Her ex husband was a cattle herder and he always had a need
to talk o her. I got tired of this
She said she'd marry me and I
told him that the latenight gossip
had to stop: I laughed at his lonelinees
and made no bones about what I meant!

Premium MemberA Ridiculous Comparison- My Husband and Pumpkin

My husband is like a ripening pumpkin
Loves to lie down inert on the ground, most of the time.
Lack of exercises has made his belly bloat,
Like pumpkin, that now he looks a comic sight.

A pumpkin carved in shape with a light inside,
Serves as an adornment in Halloween season.
Though funny to view, he is beautiful inside,
With a light shining bright all through the seasons.

As the pumpkins are so versatile and can be put to use,
In making a number of dishes, both sweet and savory,
He has multi talents and adds so much of spice to my life,
That without him, I will be like a flat tyre with no spare!

Pant and Bra

He is a good man with morals
He takes good care of his wives
He boasts about his wives a lot
Especially people's wives.

Our husband doesn't cheat says the wives
He's a responsible man with morals
Just but ten he married us
He promised not to marry again.

Our husband doesn't sleep at home
He said we scream a lot
He needs concentration for his work
So he sleeps in hotels of his choice.

What a wonderful man God gave us
He has seven secretaries for himself
Each tends to him when needed he said
Though we don't know what our husband does for a living. But we do know he works at night and doesn't sleep at home.

the jelly lid too tight again.
I twist and twist
until my palms sweat,
glass slipping like his promises.
When it finally gives,
the seal breaks with a pop,
a red smear blooms across
the countertop, and I slick
my fingers through this mess,
taste sugar and iron.
It’s the only sweetness he’s left.

Premium MemberTo My Ex-Husband: I Was Fluent in What Failed Us

I missed the window of my telling
you who you are. My greatest
talent, f*cked too thin to mend,
or maim when it mattered most.

I’m not mad anymore, just sifting
through the wreckage of my gift—
this heft of language, all I ever said,
only salve on hand to save us, too often
out of stock.

Words flawless on paper, I fell limp
spilling from a broken mouth.
Throwing spells at your functional illiteracy,
believing an explanation could level
our podium standings, but it never did.

I never do.
Even though I’m perfect on paper.

You never do what I want, either.
Imagining Sisyphus content
was the death of us.
And we have died nine million times
attempting the trick of it—
a compromise so smug, filled with hubris
enough to spare every kind,
every one of us, where no one dies,
unless that’s how they wanted
their story to end.

Our story is ending.
What else is there?

A rock and a hill, a present mishandled
until it becomes a burden.
Until we've learned the weight of words
won’t hold us, slip, slipping away
again and again, and I’m there
hauling myself through the unwritten
spaces you didn't even notice, you left.

When rebellion arises justice takes birth

The old mother-in-law was sent away,
To an old age home without delay.
The daughter-in-law, with silent defiance,
Pushed back without uttering a grievance.

The husband, in his quest to tame,
A heart thorned with pain and blame,
Tried and failed, defeated at last,
By the weight of the past.

To shatter the deceit and face fate's cruel plan,
He turned to his sister, trusting her hand.
With strategy in mind, and revolt in his heart,
He fought back, unwilling to be torn apart.

Her face, once flushed with fiery red,
Softened into a lotus bloom instead.
In her youth, she refused to let them suffer alone,
"We’ll care for them ourselves," she firmly intoned.

The father-in-law and brother-in-law stood in place,
At the crossroads, with a smile on each face.
Justice was born that day, they thought,
And in their laughter, solace they sought.

His evil malicious taunting's
Lucifer shifts minions and demons;
Spiting on the womb of the bride;
Embracing her soul windows closed;
The bride groom cometh

Tried and tied in the knots of life;
Desperately seeking wife's;
Separate the rooms, implant shame doom;
Body count concludes;
The head is separated from the main;
The bride groom cometh

The fam is distain;
Calculated divisions;
The bride groom cometh
Dirty broken windows cleanse with maple-syrup;
While little girls still play patty-cake and jump rope;
I can't wait for the Husband of the Church to come;
I can't wait for the parting of the skies;

The bride groom cometh

Catfishing dirty dishes mouths spitting;
Mixed decisions--
I can't wait to see with mine spiritual eyes;
The bride groom comes, The bride groom cometh

Premium MemberIn My Garden

In my garden where love flourished.
A pale pink running rose once bloomed.
Gracefully it grew upon the trellis.
Until the oak tree took the sunshine away.

Each petal a delicate, velvety feeling
Whispers of romance daily entertained.
Its fragrant blooms upon morn's air
Love stories lived beyond compare.

The housewife gentle and strong
Loved the rose, and here she belonged.
Their love steadily flows.
As the pale pink running rose slowly grows

Life was cut short for the rose.
Gradually its habitat decompensated.
Briars and brambles came up instead.
Wrapped around and soon it was dead

Husband gets a great pleasure out of using roundup especially on windy days.

It was a long time ago,
but I still remember the day
she came to live with us,
my aunt, a young widow.
Everybody called her Rosy,
maybe because she had pink cheeks,
her real name nobody mentioned.

My sister and I became her instant fans,
not because she was such a beauty,
we adored her for the way she treated us.
She was so caring, so loving,
the reason I now understand,
she found in us her unborn children.

In the evening after she finished her chores,
she would tell us stories,
she heard from her soldier husband,
stories of the lands he had gone,
of the battles he had fought and won.
Tiny dew drops of tear
shined in the corner of her eyes,
as she told why the soldier didn’t return home.
A sense of pride flashed,
remembering her husband in those stories,
where she found him come alive.

In the gleam of the twilight hour,
her lively face glowed like a flower
in the crimson caress of the setting sun,
and we saw aunt Rosy turn
into a dew-drenched rose.

Call Him Paul and Diane is a Doll Horn Haiku

when he was stupendous,
actually had been horrendous
while she looked luscious

Start everything with when,
while, who, what and would
and will when you will be
writing poems

when they call him Paul
would fall while in shower stall
loves Diane who is a doll

when we named her Sandy
would call her husband Randy
she always had been handy

Randy and Sandy and Paul
with Diane ether actually used
to live our or live here now.

Tribute To New Recruit Horn Haiku

while we paid tribute
she had been a new recruit
always gave a hoot

God is there in air
would be best when we should share
she did with much care

husband a president
from his sins had to repent
She gave her consent

buried in family plot
to heaven by God was brought
we love her a lot

God waved magic wand
so she to heaven has gone
with a bright new dawn

More than anything
More than anything, Father I love you more
More than I can imagine
More than anything, More than anything

I love you more than anything;
I love you more than everything
Everything you do;
Everything is true
I am so in love with you;
Father I do, honestly ever so do, love you;

I love you more than anything
You are more than my everything

I love you more than a husband, than a wife
More than my parents, children and friends
You are my mine life
And I am, I am that I am so heavenly bless
