I shall remember you when
night crawls under day
dressed up in sunshine and
colorful hues I shall remember
you in every single book I
read catering to the fundamental
findings craving thought like
Langston Hughes I’ll fondly
remember civil rights field
trips dancing through cattails
in the woods wandering
between dandelion patches
and rows of daisies peeking
through cedar slats nestled
upon a garden nook I dig the
magnificent magnitude of our
telepathy designs of hope
courage and joy I will always
remember your smile opening
the window letting fresh air
inside a dull dim room something
about William Butler Yeats
Yolande Giovanni something
about me black power rings
the subtle warmth of the
voice of dignity human need
to express one’s own abilities
communicate with all walks
of life we are who we are
I thank you for giving me
encouragement my humble
beginnings I shall see you
tomorrow in paradise sunshine

In loving memory of Nikki Giovanni

Thank You God
Thank you, God, for your love and wisdom. Even in moments of doubt, I tried to keep my faith discreet. Many times, I felt the weight of my sins, knowing that conscience is not just a guide but a compass. I speak for myself when I say that each day,
I struggle with the inevitable tasks and the pain inflicted by evildoers. Today would have been his birthday, a bittersweet reminder that evildoers cannot harm us for long if we believe in your power.

I have come too far to let regrets weaken me. I am too proud and too strong for shame or regret.

Please, always come to me when I am in doubt. Keep shining your light upon me and keep my mind healthy.

My vision is clear, and I know my children will be happy and safe. I will fight for daily strength to move forward. I will adhere to your words and find rest in your guidance. You know me better than I know myself, and I love you, Lord.
Your mercy never fails me.

I grieve for others more than I should, perhaps being too mythopoetic. I am mortal, a giver by nature, and proud of the choices I have made.

I am who I am, black by nature, and I embrace my identity with pride.

God bless America

When allah touches you with good, no one can lead you other way

I was never really interested in what people had on their Tests.
Sometimes I did the mistake, but then I followed up saying:
,,Next time it will be great"
Or
,,Don't worry, in every beginning is a big price ahead"
I never received such a message ever whenever I got my test.
So I choose to put them in my bag.
Someone in my class suddenly asked: ,,What do you have?"
I lied too many times.
,,A C"
,,That's great!"
,,It's not"
,,It is for me. If you don't think so it's okay but you really tried your best and sometimes it happen.
It's fine.
Don't worry.
You are very smart."
I am very smart?
They still think I am smart?
,,Thank you, you too"

Maybe I don't need to lie anymore.

Black Lives Matter

life itself sound amazing
life is the gift of god
we should respect our life
whether we are black or white

it's not the fault of life
being black or white
it's the fault of society and time
that discriminate black and white

white people have no right
to dominate black people
because color cannot
discriminate the life

black people should be
given equal right as white ones
in order to make their
future bright

black lives matter
white lives matter too
everybody in the universe
have no right to judge too

negative vibes about black people
should be minimized
to bring positive change in life
love each other and respect each other
whether we are black or white

" color cannot discriminate people it's the ill-thought of the society and time that makes the issues of it. life is the gift of god so, we must enjoy our life with every people neglecting black or white."

The Truth

Jesus, Jesus…
Please,
bless this house,
as I am only,
a small
mouse.

I need you daily,
from sun’s bright show,
to moon’s bright glow,
in the dead of all that’s night…

Thank you for all…
that… You… do.
Thank you far more…
for what I don’t know,
You do…

I lift You up…
in my heart,
it is the right way to start;
every day that I draw breath,
until the day of my death.

I know you will say my name,
and I will know of heaven’s home,
as all your promises are in the tome.

You are my Savior King.

Look up, time is near... do not fear... cheer...!

Premium MemberParty Loudly

Party Loudly
(and hats that fit badly)

The comments of strangers,
passers-by on the street,
people that matter very little,
or even not at all.

Effect the outcome of our lives,
in ways we have no idea...
yet, how to feel.

Some smile and say hello,
some say good by and done.
Others, want something from you,
that you are perhaps unwilling to give.
Maybe you should not at all
entertain the company,
of the possible,
takers,
and makers,
of chaos.
Wanting-ly grabing center stage,
when they were only asked to the party,
out of courtesy or even chance.
Not because all are not welcome,
some simply partake more of others,
than is their due,
in public,
or in private,
to others,
or alone.

Do not drink too much,
do not be(e) too silly,
and avoid the sting.
Be safe,
not sorry in the end.
Covet-tess friends,
angry assistants,
jealous co-workers,
seeking openings to advance,
by chance,
your demise.
The road home will thank you,
and so will the mothers,
of all the children,
that will make it home,
because you made...
all the right choices,
for the old year,
while welcoming in...
The New.

Amen.

Premium MemberGood Morning

Good Morning

Sunshine.
I have missed you all night.
The moon came by to say hi, but you were not here.
You were busy somewhere else.
Warming the world someplace far from here,
already on the other side of tomorrow.
Giving hope and light from the darkness…
of those that can not see beyond their own eyes,
or feel passed their own hearts.

The flowers this morning are so pleased you have returned.
I believe I heard them sing. I know the birds heralded your arrival.
They are like sprinkles on a pink doughnut. They dust the sky with color,
to accent and delight Your power and might with soft brush strokes.

The alarm rings, but I don’t care. I am not even aware, as I am outside.
I have skipped the usual and watched your arrival, with personal glee.
Thank you God, for the morning light.
Thank you for your Holy Light.
Thank you for your son, that I…
will never know darkness, again!

Peace and Poverty

 What is, success,
if this is not a considerable
ever-continuing action
in either direction;
towards peace,
or poverty.

So, the mind and the heart,
close, or remain open -
upon taking action,
or; upon remaining idle.

Yes; the drought;
continues with us,
or; our ever-joyous
harvest together!

...

47 words above continuing.

Thank you so much for reading.

Premium MemberTake It Black

Take it Black

The warm welcome smell of coffee.
It talks to me. Tells me things I need to know,
like what time it is, and “Good morning.”
It is in fact very cheerful.

Whole beans or ground dust,
every lovely flavor, I trust.

Some put cream into the cup.
There they swirl it around.
Bright white,
warm brown,
a lovely shade of perfect.

Some make funny faces,
with the froth, the fluffy white milk.
It is delicious,
to the eyes and the tongue.

Cold or hot, it hits the spot.
If you love it, you do, if you don’t,
there… is nothing to say.

You have tasted heaven in a cup?
had bad moments in the brew,
great moments in the stew…
(the kind of coffee they make when you camp).
All worth a warm up,
if the kind lady comes back by.

Let us speak of sugar.
Yes, so sweet, so loving to the hot steam.
Melt, become one with the drink.
White, brown, flavored or pink?
Yum.

Served in houses, served at home.
Served among friends,
served to bring peace among “unrest”.
Wake up a trucker.
Fill a thermos with fuel.

Thank you Lord, for coffee.
Amen.

Thank You Note

I thought I could live alone till you showed up
Showing up to give my life the support it needed
Need became an understatement when u are close
Closer to me makes me realise I can't do without you
Without you my world is idle
Idle mind becomes lonely
Loneliness needs a partner
Partners we have become
Becoming friends the only option
The only option is us being soulmates
Soulmates a trail in disguise
Disguised are the good and bad thoughts that make us stronger
Stronger without questions
Questions without answers
Answers without reasons
Reasons we need not to acknowledge
Acknowledged we are in being together
Togetherness the only way to survive
Survivors we were in the past
The past the beginning of the present
The present the beginning of the future
The future we know nothing of
Of which I don't care because I'm safe with you
You and me will see the future through
Through every huddle that comes our way
Our way lies with Almighty
Almighty the All-Knowing.

Premium MemberSkeptical Society Statement For Sure

Society is not only ignorant. It is generally cowardly. Society and it's foolish cronies generally preach justice, freedom, and equality and yet too often practice injustice, promote slavery, and stubbornly too often insist on inequality.Welcome to hell, but I would prefer heaven, thank you.

'immersed In the Ocean of Blessing'

Thoughts on World Diabetes Day(14th Nov.2018):

'Immersed in the ocean of Blessing'

Immersed in the ocean of blessing,

God's mercy all times encompassing.

Even then all times Iam complaining,

Petty things I never forgetting.

At the 'have-nots' Iam never looking,

My own self, I keep on prodding.

A young man on dialysis was running,

Our water-works are really fascinating!

With a white cane a lady was walking,

Eyesight is miracle, for all who are retaining !

Whose heart is aching and failing,

What a blessing this pump entailing !

On the above three as Iam pondering,

Each insult 'diabetes' was causing.

God always Iam thanking,

For the health & right path He's showing.

Diabetes always I'll be fighting,

The suffering I'll always be guiding.
