Premium Member The Loving Sound - Collab With Alexis

I enjoy being in tune with nature,
As I sit, I hear such a loving sound.
Reminded of God, our legislature.
From this small hill, I hear Him all around.

Melodies of life flow through nature's core,
Floating towards the One who sits on high.
I heard soft notes as the tide came to shore.
And I can sense His divine presence nigh.

I enjoy this harmony with nature,
Feeling close to God, as He calls me out,
Each sound reveals His loving portraiture,
He's alive in nature, there is no doubt.

Songs of praise spark my pen, as I listen
To birds chirruping in satisfaction.
A thousand rays on the ocean glisten.
Grateful am I for His benefaction.

Premium Member A Trump Means a Fart - For Alexis

In Britain a trump is a fart
My father perfected his art
Foul farts he would push
Right out of his tush
Gasping for fresh air I would dart!

So... I guess that means the Potus is just an old wind bag

The Clocks Stopped- Alexis Karpouzos

Darkness at the shut of day,
broken hearts and silent tears around me
the words are sad,
the clocks stopped,
but the light from a dead star
will live in infinity,
its rays will continue
to cross the vast starry heavens
and they will illuminate worlds of miracles.
Form: Lyric

So Many Roads - Alexis Karpouzos

In our brief life,
so many roads,
so many miracles
and blessings and glories,
but also so many curses and denials,
grief and contempt,
continuous waves on the planetary seas
that come and go,
and they crawl us into the vast heavens,
in that quiet rhythm universe
listen to your heart beat.
Form: Lyric

The Song of Love - Alexis Karpouzos

Every life dwell in the bosom of the love,
 echoing the bliss of eternity,
ringing as a heavenly gong the holy song,
the song of love wherewith even hell
had thrilled and the grief ignites,
and the eager souls lean to hear with awe.
Form: Lyric

Maybe, Just Maybe - Alexis Karpouzos

i know that i shall meet my shadow,
one day, is our fate. I know that, someday,
the light ends for us and the deadly gravity
will absorb us. And again, a magician spark
will shine and a ocean of souls
will flood the universe and will
give birth to stars and grief.
And maybe, just maybe, in another heaven,
my dreams will be your dreams.
You see, everything repeats itself
and everything will be reincarnated in different forms.
An incredible miracle, carefree, and we live in it.
The miracle is folded into your heart.
Form: Lyric

Fallen Angel - Alexis Karpouzos

Fallen angel! Why are you scared?
Why you dwelt alone in shadow?
Why you tighten your fists?
why threaten the whole life?
i know, afraid to .love,
let tenderness pour from your eyes
to irrigate the earth and the light of love, silently,
will lift you on the heaven again.
Form: Narrative

I Saw a Angel - Alexis Karpouzos

I saw a angel on heaven
and he invited me
to be neighbors to the stars.
''How can i fly? I don't have wings''.
''I know you're encased
in an old human's body
with frozen souls and
unused magical dreams''.
''But remember,
you know quiet well,
deep within you,
that there is only a single magic,
a single power and that
is called loving.
Love is Your wings''.
Form: Narrative

Alexis Defender of Sounds

French, English or Greek
Alexis defends them all
This beautiful name means
Help and Defend

A poet of sound she is
Honest true and strong
Generating laughter
While blending in fear

Steadfast she is among us
Weak I have never seen
Strong are her words
Creating unique poetry

Always standing by me
Waiting and wanting to help
Named with the perfect name
Always helping and defending

Train Track Ghost Hobo Inspired By Alexis Poem

These tracks are placed side by side
Yet run in the same direction
Never touching except by railroad ties
Click, click, tap, tap is the sound the engineer hears

A hobo I see has placed his sack upon these tracks
With beans Ala cart with a quarter and a dime
Inside his sack
With tons of power clicking down the track

It hits this Hobos sack leaving
A dime the size of a quarter and beans all over the track
Skidding to a stop 2 miles away
This hobo devastated left with only eight words to say

Crap, I left my sack on the track

Alexis My One True Poetry Love

Through thick and thin Alexis has always been there
My rock that disappeared, so sweet this women
Alexis she, always commenting with encouragement
If I were younger I would sweep her off her feet

I would take her to poetry confinement and never let her leave
A sweet and kind young women who’s poetry
Makes me star blind, what a kind and gentle soul
My Alexis one of the first ones I had ever met on soup

My Sweet and Kind Alexis!!

I Love a Flower - Alexis Karpouzos

I love a flower,
i stretch my hand
and touch his soft leaves
and it sends me a sweet smell.
it's a tacit love,
in the sense of wonder
we found in each other,
secret signals from another life
that bring poetry to my heart.

Where Is the Magic - Alexis Karpouzos

Where is the magic?
We all start out knowing magic.
We are born with hurricanes
and whirlwinds, oceans
and galaxies inside us.
We are able to sing to birds
and read the clouds
and see the destiny
in grains of sand.
But we have forgotten the magic
and we feel without compass,
alone and desperately,
only selfishness, only pain,
fear and darkness.
But, magic of love has never
disappeared from the life,
the love hold the life.

Be There-Alexis Karpouzos

i will find you in the shadow of words,
in the hidden signs of silent moments,
in the eloquence of your eyes,
in a tingling in the spine,
in a trembling in the voice,
in a distant memory
be there.....

Don'T Tell Me: Alexis Karpouzos

Don’t tell me the stars
stopped to dream.
Don’t tell me the birds don’t fly.
Don’t tell me the kids
stopped crying.
Don’t tell me the lovers are lost.
Observes occur around you.
Listen blessings dropping
their blossoms arround you.
Don’t tell me!
