A thousand cuts

Severing of ties with our allies.
Court orders blatantly defied.
Plans to privatize, those federal

A predator came calling

We forgot to close the coop and a
predator came calling.
We became entangled by his loop
and now the government he's uphauling.
We let a nemesis on the premises,
so billionaires he's installing..

What will survive this mauling?
The chaos and the casualties,

He Had to Change

An old man’s pride was set aside when he came to realize,
The arrogance of his youth was grounded in untruth.
