The Eternal Ember

The Eternal Ember

Decades are passed, an embrew slices Earth's chest
And countless Energy invests
It blooms
Bamboozles doom:
Decades past
In search of and at last
Pause and steadfast like mast,
It is swaying and living
It's breath giving
Spreading light and delight
Catches might and cashes bright
Twitter positivity in melancholy
Singing joy and cherishing cheerfully
Saying goodbye to pessimism
She is the flame of optimism
Guarding like boundary wall
A spirit stands by at her side
It covers her and clicks in her glide
And in thick and thin, it stands tall
Decades pass
A flame flames
Light in thick darkness
It lits and brightens chaos.

Firefly

Firefly

We were sleeping on balmy nights
Blinds were awakening in sticky October
People were waiting and whispering during the flight
Mob was ecstatic and somber.
Sylph, a beautiful nymph emerges from nowhere
She rushes and lushes everywhere
She fused folks around the globe
She knows how to handle the mob!
Glowing with grace and dignity
She wears the mask of purity
She is the little princess of another planet
People call and admire her rarity.
Sometimes she seems like the butterfly of words worth
Sometimes she is the song of autumn of Keats
Sometimes she is lyrics of Shelley's wind
And sometimes, she is the Muse of Earth.
Her aura is majestic and ecstatic
She is the unheard poem of Romantics
People name her Tajallah
She is the oxygen in universal law!

Telemachus

Telemachus

Ask Telemachus!
Penelope is aware of your grief and glow,
Go on, don't feel low
You are her beach
Fly high and across every breach.

Ask him:
She lived with you in Ithaca
Wanna see you in Makka
Where there is a rift
Pure air always lifts
The sorrow of uncertain lot
And you never caught in the fret and fever of any sought.

Ask him,
She brought up thee
And don't be a flee
Swing like eucalyptus in the air
Be rare and don't fear.

Ask him
You are the bright ray
An undiminished sway
Go and grip the intangible way
Come and click don't delay.

Ask him:
You are the light
Glow and flow
And don't feel low
The world is full of foe.

Innocence

Innocence

Once,
Met with an image
Masked in modernity
Walked in purity
Smiled in serenity.
I stopped and reckoned,
There was a river
Flow like giver
Soul and body
Amalgamation of Chastity.
I acknowledge
There was simplicity
Wrapped into somberness
Dignity
Packed into Seriousness
Vanity
Dressed into richness.

Ode To My Humble Toaster

Oh, my beloved toaster,
How you start my day with delight.
Your warm embrace, a comforting boast,
A breakfast staple in every right.

With your sleek design and metallic sheen,
You toast my bread to perfection.
Golden brown, a sight to be seen,
A joyous moment, a breakfast confection.

Through thick and thin, you never fail,
A trusty appliance, always by my side.
A constant source of toast and bagel,
Your reliability I cannot deny.

Oh, my dear toaster, how you bring joy,
To my mornings, my days, my life.
A simple pleasure, a humble ploy,
But one that fills my heart with rife.

So here's to you, my beloved toaster,
A common household item, yet so divine.
I raise my toast to your faithful poster,
A praise to your simplicity so sublime.

Wings Her Own

She Walked IN
Her steps trembling.. moves all tender
To walk In or Out..
Her purity….her lost splendour..

A jewel …
A pearl untouched ..
Of Joys unexplored…
Of intimacies all crutched …

A right to be Happy .. a right all abused…
Of a soul all free ….. of hopes all bruised …

& Thus…
..She decided to Fly ..
…On Wings her Own ..
….On Passions ..that no one could Buy ..

Erkallios

Erkallios
Arabic Poem by: Adnan Abu Andalus*
Translated into English by:
Inaam Al-Hashimi (Gold_N_Silk)
========================
No feather on his head
To escape hell
Erkallios
Was not a legendary hero of Rome
Nor a pirate with dreadlocks was he
He was a soldier without a gun
Guarding the land between the two grieves
 Conversing with himself
And falls asleep with a whimper

Every night....
The Corporal gets down on his breath:
“Get up it's time for your duty..
No matter how late you wake up
You will die!”
The sun generates the moment
He begins to convey gunpowder
The storm spins
The plane is hovering
Turns spirally
Explodes
And doomsday befell Erkallios!

The child died
The child, Erkallios, melted
 Between fire and iron
 Screaming as if the moment
 Splintered Mayday
 The sound returned disappointed
He …died.. with .. his ... with his comrades!
The plane, a cemetery for forty
Is lying on the road
Black ....
Like a corpse of a dead whale

Prologue To a Next Life

He would never forget the raindrops knocking on his coffin,
painfully screaming in a postpartum (from life) depression,
nor would he forget the stiffness of his entire body
banging on the wood as the carriage was hurried
along the cracked pavement on the streets
of the Holy Land to the cheapest and closest "Ash House".
He had never imagined what the future would bring to him,
now, when the latest experience in physical death
had been caused by simply the absolute lack of love.
He didn't react too much to the beatings and mutilations of the hysterical fat maniacs,
self-proclaimed highnesses in control of a whole degenerated generation.
He still remembered though the permanent hunger of the soul
and the love he had never experienced.
Adnan was not a fighter anymore.
It was time to move on and die for a while...
But then...
