Sence 2 First act

First of all thank you
I wanted to thank you
you made it easier to do
some others rush me through
act like don't what to do
but you
did it right
you did it right
ah maybe three or four
who could ask for more
I really appreciate things
you do.

Leave it the way it is
there aint no other way
glad you came along
I'm sorry you can't stay
my number if you change your mind
nah everything is fine
you one of a kind
it's what ever you say
Hey you know you're the best
head and shoulders above the rest
got me right when I had to guess
you specail that way

maybe it's something learned
I'm glad it was my turn
keep me in your concern
don't do any other way
it's been on my mind for sometime
it's been erased and rehersted
tell me what came first
that's the condition I'm in
come by help me out
you know what I'm talking about
let's keep it clear
I won't have it no other way

A simple act of

Left again to watch
the sun's red demise,
wandering eyes turned
to the west
and ponder anew
what destiny lies
were fate but to offer her best.

Left again to sow
the sinners desire,
a wandering archetype
of lust,
to follow a path that
Aphrodite inspires,
withholding only her trust.

Left again to reap
in impossible haste
the spoiled fruits of his dreams,
insistent
on one more ambrosial taste
to silence the sounds of her screams.

Left again bewildered,
angry and damned,
trapped in his own obtuse plan,
reflecting on violence
his passions had fanned,
and the sunset
he sees in his hands.

Premium Member A Simple Random Act of Kindness

A simple random act of kindness
Can go a long, long way ...

It was just the other day
A woman kissed me on the cheek.
She had totally caught me
By surprise.
Who would kiss this freak.
But then the tears
Began to flow.
My knees, they felt so weak.
I had almost forgotten that sensation.
What that even felt like.
“Bless you, for that holy kiss”
Was all that I could utter.
She smiled.
And behind my wet face
I smiled back
For it had been years and years
Since I felt like that.

Now reminiscing in my thoughts
I can only think ...
Thank you, thank you for that.
For in that single moment,
That simple spontaneity of sprite
You restored my faith
Gave me new hope
And most certainly,
Saved my life.

Which is why I just had to share ...

That a simple random act of kindness
Really can go a long, long way.

They Speak and Act an Oxymoron

The politicians speak and act out in pure oxymoron.
By that I mean say one thing or promise one thing and do a next or the opposite. Some friends also do.
With warm cruelty and in a very nice and seemingly gentle sinister pretentious intentions.
Pure bare cold sweetly favoured and spicy nothings.....nothingnesses,
They promise you a great and propserous year.
But then they do absolutely nothing to improve your life in the slightest.
There is such a cold malignant mliciousness in the kindly promises.
The sweetest and most polished and sincerest sounding Bull you can ever imagine.
Trust them at your own damn risk, to your relaxed sleepy opium filled detriment.
Almost seems like all of them are the same.
No distinct difference.
As the Guyanese say maybe the only good one is dead.
Meaning that good comes with their bad death.
Don't get me wrong though, there have been and always will be a few really good and sincere ones Like my friend Dugu Gordon.
But most of them just live a disgusting honey money lie......they drown in a dirty legacy cesspool of rich bitter sweet mango jam irony and useless unnecessary excess wealth.

Premium Member A Minor Act of Weather

Now and then, quietly without notice,
Time adjusts its spectacles—
Peers through a fogged pane of recall
Where particulars, once urgent, dissolve.

If now and then you find rain in your heart,
be assured it is scheduled—
a punctual drizzle of consequence,
not passion, but the persistence of memory
in its bureaucratic overcoat.

It’s all because of you,
the file states plainly:
signed in duplicate, sealed in dust.
No redress required—
only the courteous nod to causality.

The aged—those quaint accumulations—
become, in the end, detours.
Not disliked, precisely,
but excessive to the route:
a bench beneath ivy, seldom occupied.

So live out your days with decorum.
Attend the rituals of silence.
Polish your small routines.
Let time, that sly curator,
catalogue your exit in amber.

Teaser-act — LC

What’s alive, dead, and witnessing?

Me—listening.

It’s the teaser-act.
A black cat next to a fat fu**
Skip under a ladder cause I know the origin of clatter.

A four leaf—fig leaf
Screw a few, hide the grief
Streamline my hairline
And unstuck my head fu**

I light when the smoke is thick
when the veil is dense and the clock don’t tick

Like when the omen won’t knock
but the shadow still shifts
And fate rolls the dice
Like the three blind mice—
with a different ending.

They cut off the tail but the rat kept ascending.
While a blonde who*e is trending
It’s dissonance we’re spending

The serpent got merch and the choir’s pretending,
And the curse they rehearsed?
It was God they were vending.

The riddle’s in static,
the silence is pending—
I laugh in the mirror
while time keeps bending.

Playful Scene

Act one had just begun
on the day we met
how was I to know the die was cast
and the stage was set

Act two what was I to do
when you stole my soul
who'd have guessed the part was mine
and I would play a leading role

Act three now you're with me
I put my heart into all I do
should I fall before curtain call
I could put my heart in you

Act four can't ask for more
I won't miss a line or cue
it's beyond my wildest dreams
a fairy tale come true

Act of love

Act of love
People judge when words are utter,
And love when silence remains.
Time flows like the river itself,
But when the subject is love,
There is no space that can contain it.
In this brief life,
All a human can fully perform,
Is the act of love.

The Flood Gates Opened

Today the flood gates opened
A strong tide rushed down, coming down
Everything was just swept away
No one left, no one around
It became clear an act of God
See what happens in the Lord's mighty wrath?
He struck down with lightning and with thunder
We prayed that all things would again last

he was hanging from the charcoal rafters
doing push-ups thinking cap dangling loosely
by his side like a detached trouser stripe

time for emotions and mindful assonance
for when reason fails feelings surpass
the limbo of a lost soul yet to be found

Suffocating Act of Living

Breath becomes a fight,
World's weight presses on the chest,
Longing to break free.

O MY (ETERNAL) GOD
I am heartily sorry for having offended You
And I detest all my sins
Because of Your just punishments
But most of all because they offend You, my (Eternal) God
Who are all good
And deserving of all my love
I firmly resolved with the help of Your grace
To sin no more
And to avoid the near occasions of sin

And ask pardon of all whom I have injured
