I'm feeling wistful and withdrawn,
As if I'm trapped beneath a shroud.
My mood is grim, my thoughts forlorn,
And melancholy feelings crowd.
Depression's grip is tight and strong,
A gloomy haze I can't break through.
I try to find a brighter song,
But all I see is shades of blue.
The weight of sadness drags me down,
And I can't seem to shake it free.
I wear a mask when I'm in town,
But inside I'm not who I seem to be.
I hope that soon the clouds will part,
And happiness will find its way.
Until that day, I'll do my part,
And make it through, come what may
Yesterday I remembered how we watched
the crimson sky and beautiful sunsets.
I often get misty eyes thinking of you and
how your favourite team was the jets.
My darling we had a passionate love and
we fell in love during harvest time.
How could I have ever forgotten how you
stole my heart, is that a crime?
But now as I recall memories of the past
I hurt right down to the core.
Because I can never walk along the beach
shore with you anymore.
The tempest wind blew, a big dark shadow
came and our boat shook, I alone survived
on that horrific day.
Sometimes when I am alone it's like i'm stuck
in a movie that never ends but continues to
play.
You left here way too soon, the only thing that
gets me through is the Lord's amazing grace.
Sweetheart you are forever engraved in my heart
and I can't wait to be reunited with your handsome
face.

Soft scents of frangipani invade my nostrils in the twilight air,
pellucid thoughts from deep within made me aware of my senses.
I look over yonder and notice lovely ripples in the lake.
Luscious blueberries catch my attention and my mouth waters,
next I hear the beautiful sound of mockingbirds singing .
I felt like my feet were standing in a place of history and strength,
as I embarked on ancestral trails of my people's past.
At once pride and appreciation began to infuse my entire being.
I look up and notice a hint of vermilion in the beautiful sky,
And a menagerie of birds from the distant past soared above me.

I stood, AMBIVALENT to full and LUSCIOUS scenes
in this ARCANE, new woodland, BITTERSWEET with views;
FLAMBOYANT yet QUIESCENT, TACTILE thoughts came forth
of similar QUINTESSENCE brutally destroyed
by INTERCESSOR...'progress and development'...
the IMMOLATION of past woodlands' lovely trees.

She is capricious which is why others alienate her
A malignent tumor perspicious to all who
that know her . Her friendships are usually transitory and often dissipate quickly due to
her inurbane demeanour which also causes her
to gravitate towards less than reputable characters. Fooled by their charm they would flatter her and time after time she would be
their scapegoat
