You'Re Invited
You're invited to a party
On September twenty-seven,
From six until the party ends.
Masks come off about eleven.
Oh yes, it is a masquerade.
Come as whom you would like to be.
We'll have prizes for best costumes.
The judge will have fashion degree.
It is sure to be a big blast.
Five hundred have been invited.
You don't want to miss this party.
Your friends might think you were slighted.
We're holding it at Severn Cedars
With its big ballroom dance floor.
Three bands will furnish the music
With your own favorites and more.
Dinner is at six o'clock sharp.
It will be set as a big buffet.
There is a bountiful menu
With foods you don't find every day.
After dinner the bands will play
And the dancing will then begin.
No one will know with whom they dance
As around the dance floor they spin.
An RSVP's included.
Please let us know you'll be there.
You will be so sorry if you miss
This once in a lifetime affair.
